Check in and out was easy. Details provided by the hotel in advance were good. Room was lovely and very comfortable with plenty of space. Loved all the little touches like a bathrobe and slippers as well as the coffee machine and kettle. Location is amazing - right in the center of St Andrews so within walking distance of all the restaurants etc as well as the beach. Breakfast was fab with a great selection of hot and cold buffet items.

Tiny, tiny point... we couldn't find any milk for the tea/coffee in the room but we did find the biscuits! :)

Amazing stay at an a beautiful hotel, we got our room upgraded to the beautiful new course room which was stunning, the staff at the front desk were very helpful and polite, we used the spa facilities which were first class and very relaxing

The only thing that let our stay down was the chambermaid was very noisy first thing in the morning as the store room is next to our room, and she had a very rude manner

Location, room was fantastic. Breakfast good also.

We’ve stayed in many hotels is St Andrews and I have to say this was by far the best, from the staff to value for money. Lucy in particular is an asset to this hotel, very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay the best. She even got me fresh milk for my night cuppa which I really appreciated. We got a free upgrade to the old course suite and made use of the spa facilities - what a treat. Room was so comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was freshly made to order, full Scottish for hubby and French toast with bacon and maple syrup for me Across the road they have a coffee truck and as guests in the hotel we received free coffees and pastries For anyone who doesn’t know St Andrews you can’t beat the hotel for location either - free car park 2 minutes walk away Well definitely be back - well done 👏

The property itself is lovely and nicely decorated. We stayed the first weekend in January and got a really good deal for 1 nights stay. We paid £155 for the room which included breakfast and use of the spa facilities. It was in a great location - walking distance to the beach and into town. If I’m honest I wouldn’t consider this hotel to be a 5 star. We got it for a great price which I’d pay again but I wouldn’t be inclined to pay much more for this hotel.

Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is lovely but there is a lack of attention to detail in some areas. Rooms were very dusty around the widows and the fan was bad too. Also cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The sauna door seemed broken as it was very difficult to open and close. There were also tiles missing in the steam room and something broken hanging from the top of the door too.

This is a quality hotel to visit. We had a single night stay booked at short notice to finish off the festive break. Our suite was very nice with an extremely comfortable super king size bed. Although there for a short time we enjoyed 2 exclusive uses of the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Thanks so much to our very nice and so helpful hostesses Lucy and Sarah-Jane. Complimentary coffee from the coffee bar across the road was a lovely addition. And the hotel is in easy walking distance of St Andrews many attractions, bars and restaurants.

We were there for an opportunity to see St. Andrew's, the city, and the golf course, which we were able to play. And the weather was cooperative for this. The Kinnettles hotel was in the perfect location for what we needed. We did not take advantage of the breakfast as we had to catch a flight home. But they also took on the responsibility of getting our rented clubs back to the facility for us, as it was closed when we finished golfing.

While the bed and bedding were comfortable, I feel the firmness of the mattress could be improved - I felt drawn to the centre when lying on it..

We stayed in the New Course street facing. As soon as we walked in the room my husband said “oh I like this” which he never says. First thing I noticed was the plush bed and perfectly clean looking bedding, I was looking forward to sleeping in it. The size of the bedroom, bathroom and lounge were excellent. The quality of furnishings was definitely above those in other hotels. The rainfall shower did not disappoint some hotels advertise rainfall but just trickle. This shower head was clearly cleaned regularly and there was definite rainfall. Also whilst using the hand shower attachment both showers remained on with perfect pressure. Yes I enjoy having a shower in a perfectly clean bathroom and this was certainly very clean. All equipment required for a stay were included in the room with quality complimentary products in the bathroom and refreshments. Lovely to see a decent coffee machine in a hotel room. Breakfast had plenty of quality products and choice.

Beautifully big room with excellent facilities. Comfy bed and spa was an additional bonus.

Restaurant was closed when we were there otherwise nothing to add.

Our room was on the top floor of the building . Beware more senior travellers . There is no lift at the property. We had golf bags and a suitcase and it was a trek up the stairs . Room however was beautiful and spacious . Very quiet and in a very central location , especially if you are playing golf at St Andrews Links . Walking distance to the Old Course. Lovely breakfast room and great breakfast choices.

We had a few issues with the bathroom taps . No cold water coming into the shower or basin taps , however this didn’t impact our visit and hopefully would have been fixed after we mentioned it on checking out
