The ambience of the hotel was good and relaxing. The breakfast and dinner were lovely as I was half board. Air condition works fine and fridge in the room. The shower gel and cream were of good quality.

I mistakenly booked the mobility access too. I had to go downstairs to the lady on duty which I believe was Anisa. I was told I booked a mobility access room which I confirmed on my booking.com app. On the same night, I had a shower and the water went everywhere in the bathroom. Water not going down the drain as it should.( Room 408)I complained the next morning to Kayleigh, I was told all rooms were fully booked that day but she was kind enough to switch us to room 519. The only downside was that the duvet cover of my double bed smelt of urine. The housekeeper did not bother to change the duvet cover. We only discovered this when we were about to sleep. So had to use the duvet cover on my son’s sofa bed.

“A stylish, comfortable, and family-friendly stay with thoughtful touches throughout. The room was clean and modern, with a simple-to-use TV and exceptional quality bed, pillows, and towels. They easily accommodated me and my two children (10 & 11), and the pull-out sofa bed was far better than a standard camp bed. The toiletries were excellent — the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were great quality, and my hair looked amazing after using them. Breakfast was another highlight: really good quality, only £15 for me, and the kids ate free — a massive plus for families. The gardens at the front were a lovely spot to watch the sunset, and my kids even enjoyed doing a morning run around them, which added a special touch to our stay.”

We stayed for one night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Stoke-on-Trent and had a very good experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and welcoming. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the little touches like good lighting, plenty of charging points, and a nice bathroom with a powerful shower. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant/bar area, which had a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable menu options. Breakfast the following morning was well-organised, with a good choice of hot and cold items.

Had to pay extra for the car park

The receptionist for booking in, quickly resolved our issues with parking, as we had already paid but we got no parking for the 2nd day as the car park was full, we was refunded our parking back, without hesitation and no fuss was made, and quickly brought our car to park on the overflow car park, which worked brilliantly for us, to go back home, Thankyou so much, it was very quick, so i felt no time was wasted. :)

The very first time the receptionists at the front desk was working on her own so their was a queue, i suppose you could of had more staff at the tills when you noticed more guests arriving. Also the customer toilets on ground floor where untidy, definitely needed a good clean.

Breakfast was delicious and well worth the price 😋 the facilities were of a high standard and were exceptionally clean. The decor and entire vibe of the restaurant and bar area was amazing. If we weren't travelling with our small children we could have happily spent hours there.

When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive at the reception desk. There was no bell ect to alert staff to our presence. Eventually we spoke to the man behind the bar and he said someone would be with us soon. There was at least 4 groups behind us by the time she came to check us in. We also had to pay per night to park our car in the hotel car park which seems like something that should be included as a guest.

Exceelent hotel as always with the Garden Inn brand. CLean rooms, really good size also especially for the one with 3 sharing. Bathrooms are great, beds comfortable, helpful staff and always a good breakfast. We did eat in one night also and that was good. Excellent value for money.

The only thing wrong with our stay was the area and there isn't much Hilton can do about that. The immediate area was a redevelopment so was clean and modern but there was nothing there for a tourist like restaurants/bars/shops. Outside of that the town was rough and unwelcoming. But we were only staying 2 nights to go to Alton Towers so it was excellent for that purpose, so we ate in hotel restaurant the first night and brought a takeaway in the second night.

Excellent weekend rate. Clean, pleasant rooms and a full range of services available despite our stay being on a sleepy Sunday when business was slow. Prompt room service and a reasonably tasty meal. Good location. We had a disabled-friendly room which was well-suited to its purpose (although two seats instead of one and a table big enough to accommodate two meals would have been appreciated).

Car park is the other side of a busy dual carriageway- bad news for everyone, especially the disabled. You have to stock your own minbar from reception, paying for what you choose. The point of in-room facilities is their convenience. And, again, it creates unnecessary problems for disabled people. The breakfast charge was the same whether you had a continental breakfast or a full cooked breakfast plus pastries and toast. £30 for two people to have coffee and croissants is a rip-off.

Brilliant location our trip was for the Emma Bridgewater factory and some other bits in the area. We didn’t realise how walkable the area is which was amazing and the Tescos extra is literally less than a 3 minute drive away. The room/ bathroom was very very lovely we couldn’t fault it, the cleaning staff deserve their credit as the room was immaculate. Our waitress on Weds evening was really lovely and the food was delicious.

I don’t know how new this hotel was but the staff were giving off almost an inexperienced vibe there were frequent queues at the front desk for checking in / hotel card issues (which we also experienced) our card and that of other guests decided to stop working which got fixed really quickly but after queuing to be served. We were abit antsy as we had a dinner reservation to get ready for elsewhere. Can’t lie the bar staff weren’t forthcoming with a greeting or even a smile.

Rooms are excellent, very clean and comfortable my only problem was no opening windows for fresh air, not a fan of air con so room was uncomfortably warm even with heating turned off.

Unable to open a window in room. Used the restaurant and very disappointed with steak and ale pie frozen chips and peas, there is more steak in greggs steak bake, my colleague had fish and chips and the portion of fish was embarrassing, again with frozen very dry chips. For the price it was not value for money. It looked like nothing was prepared from fresh in a very well equipped kitchen, I can imagine the chefs are quite frustrated unable to use their skills on frozen food.

How friendly and efficient the staff are. The facilities are great also. Evening meal and breakfast were good. Beds were very comfy.

Brown stain on the carpet, chair in bedroom stained very badly and curtains had brown stains on them. Woke in the night itching and with a bite mark. Everything else was thoroughly clean. The time it took for two cold triangle slices of garlic bread to be brought to our table, we were nearly finished our main meal when the server brought it to the table.
