Location was great, we visited Alton towers so was a perfect base for us. Motorway services so Mcdonalds was so close and costa too.

They allow pets but my husband is allergic to cats and we didn't realise until we were there and he struggled to breathe in the room as there had been pets in. Although it was very clean.

Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of room ro move around. Next to the services, so plenty of choice to eat/grab some breakfast in the morning. The receptionist in the morning was just so friendly and helpful, she made our day. My dad was struggling to get comfortable in the car (10 hour journey) and she found us a cushion for him to sit on. Thank you so much for that.

Didn't realise it was in the opposite direction on the m6, so we had to go back in the opposite direction twice. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but when you have been travelling for 2 days, it's not ideal, and wasn't made clear. If you are travelling north, this is worth bearing in mind.

Very nice staff on reception gave a warm welcome, the hotel was easy to find and access, the room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, and was totally quiet despite being in a fairly busy location, the voucher for breakfast in the food court was good, and I was able to walk a few yards to breakfast, I really found this an excellent value for money hotel and the lovely staff really made it special. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this was one of the nicest, not fancy but clean quiet and near all the amenities needed.

We booked a family room, the room was really spacious, for us with a 10 and 14 year old. the single beds off on a separate section which was the size of the main area again.- compared to a family room at Premier Inn (which we've now outgrown) it was lovely to have the space and it was quiet, comfortable and had a plug in fan and efficient heaters in both rooms to warm up the room. We had a great night's sleep. Staff were Lovely, friendly and helpful -you can purchase breakfast vouchers at reception for the services where £10 will coat you £7.50- can be used at Costa and McDonald's and no issues to buy them- entrance to the services are right next door to the entrance to the hotel. Parking is free but reception will need to log your reg when you check in. The hotel was dog friendly with little treats and Cute Halloween Decs..lots of effort to make people feel welcomed in a motorway services. The price was brilliant in comparison to nearby hotels..we stayed here for going to Alton Towers which was around 40 mins away by card- further than we'd be wanted but so glad we did as it was the perfect easy place to get your head down and use as a base for your travels.

As a basic room, there was no plug socket at the side of the bed ( but plenty near the desk area) And none in the single beds/ kids beds area- we didn't find it too much issue but something to consider if you have kids with tech!

Room was comfortable and all I needed for an overnight stay. Dogs are welcome and parking is available and free..I have stayed several times to go to a Dog Show at the Stafford Showground and will do so again.

The only disadvantage is that coming from the south, on the M6, you have to go north for another 8 miles to junction 15 and come back down to the services at junction 14 for Days Inn. Then the next day drive south again to junction 13 to get to the showground.. Despite this extra mileage, it's still a convenient place to stay for the show venue.

When we arrived at the days Inn hotel we was greeted by the lovely lady Sonia. She is fantastic. Great customer service. Sometimes it is not the quality of the hotel it’s the service which makes your time a better experience. Also I would like to add Sonias sister Trish (think it’s Trish ) she was very friendly and polite. Great manager skills. Can we also add Julie from the rest bite restaurant. She went above and beyond . Great customer service . All in all myself and family has a great stay and would highly recommend friends and family to stay with you guys. Emma and matt

Basic but absolutely what we expected and perfect as they allow dogs and we were very near where we were going. Price reflects facilities and standards and again ideal for us with the dogs. Room clean and equipped as expected for a budget hotel. Reception staff lovely and helpful. Limited service area facilites for food etc but perfectly ok for an overnight pit stop.

We wanted rooms together and on the ground floor for ease. They could only accommodate 2 of the 3 rooms this way but probably outwith their control and not a huge issue.

Honestly, I just wanted a bath night ( don't have one at home) and often go to lennny Henry's place but thanks to dynamic pricing, it was way too expensive last night. Days in Stafford to the rescue Extremely good value... wonderful woman on reception ( perfect for the job and sincerely friendly and welcoming). Top trumps prem inn for value for money .. Cleanliness and a comfy bed.

It's a little dated but my room and bathroom were immaculate and comfortable which more than makes up for a bit of old carpet.

Very friendly and helpful staff member despite late night reservation and arrival, decent room with two comfy beds, decent price, convenient location off the motorway and steps from coffee/McD/café/store..

No fan in the bathroom, leaky tub wasting lots of water, and walls were not well-insulated so you could hear the neighbors. I also didn't like having to waste time backtracking on motorway (we were heading north) since there wasn't access from the northbound side.

Staff were lovely, room plenty big enough, bath, clean bedding and towels, parking validated, 24 hour reception, super quiet,

Bed was rock hard... personal thing, I know... I had said the ages of the kids on booking, got there to discover one of them had to sleep on a cot mattress on the floor.... hes 16 and 6ft 3..... wasnt the best!!!! Bathroom.could have done with just another rinse off, soap scum on taps and a couple of hairs on tiles in shower . And someone had forgotten to top up the coffee on the tea tray!!! Minor again, was replaced as soon as spoke to cleaner in the morning, she was lovely too!!! Oh and the directions are a bot off.... told me on booking it was 14 miles away from Alton Towers, it was actually 45 minutes away.... bit of a trek like!!!!
