This family run cute boutique hotel provides excellent location for the city tourist. The rooms are quaint and we had first floor double aspect. The bed was extremely comfortable. All of the staff were polite, friendly and always there if we needed any guidance or help. Their English was superb. The one thing that stood out for us was the fact they not only cleaned the room but tidied our stuff and even wrapped up our multiple charger cables with ties.
The is nothing negative that we feel should stop anyone choosing this hotel but if there was a light in the wardrobe that would have been nice.

We LOVED our stay at Hotel Madame! It was in the heart of the city and had easy access to all kinds of food and entertainment. Customer service was top notch. We had Amazon packages sent a couple of days before we arrived and they were in our room. They also arranged a tour at a beautiful winery called Chateau Franc Mayne in Saint-Emilion. Parking was right across the square and the train was a block away. We paid extra for a room with a balcony which was pleasant for coffee in the morning and wine at night. Cool breeze and nice views. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the hotel and staff! Would stay there again! 🙂
Enjoyed the whole experience.

The hotel staff were excellent, their helpfulness was exceptional. The location of the hotel is first class for a visitor exploring Bordeaux for the first time with a number of tram lines nearby. The hotel also supplied as much cold bottled water as you wanted, which given that the temperatures was above 30 C was very welcome. The bar/restaurant adjacent to the property was also very good.
The en-suite was very small particularly the shower where it was hard to turn round. That said it was spotlessly clean with fresh towels supplied daily.

Rooms are the fun quirky sort you find in old European hotels decorated with flair and a good dash of boho style. Staff is top notch. Could not have been nicer or more helpful. Constantly in touch as needed via What’s App. There is 24 hour staffing of front desk which is great. Location, location and location. Location is perfect. Great value for money. Fun hotel with youthful vibe.
Well it is centrally located, and there is some street noise. Didn’t bother us at all, but you might ask for a quiet(er) room if an issue for you.

You cannot beat the location. It’s excellent. The staff are all excellent and helpful in arranging whatever experiences you desire. They arranged a brilliant winery tour with one of their relatives along with wine tastings with what ended up being minimal cost. Priceless recommendations for restaurants and sites.
It’s adequate for a few nights stay and exploring the area and has value against competitors with much higher price points but you need to set expectations that it will be small room, bathroom, shower, closets etc and deal with it.

The location is great, walking distance from the main attractions downtown and very convenient also for public transports. Staff is amazing, super helpful and always warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and there was a good storage space. I liked that they offered the also 1coffee and 1 water bottle each every day, it’s a small gesture that makes the difference.
The bathroom was a colder than the rest of the room, and you need to be a bit careful when having a shower because the water might go out on the floor. But nothing major, honestly I would go back there if I went back to Bordeaux.

Very friendly, spoke excellent English, went the extra mile booking taxis, and found out additional information about services further away in France. Helpful - lots of extras to help make our stay more comfortable, i.e... adaptors for NZ chargers, etc. Checked us in early and moved our luggage for us when we arrived early. Simply superb. Also, it was immaculately clean! Our view was outstanding. There was a historic arch just outside our balcony door/window. Walked outside for dinner to an incredible sunset through the arch. Sound proofing was good - once you opened the outside door/window, you could hear the hustle and bustle from the restaurant below.
Nothing!

We had an incredible experience at Hotel Madame. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. When we checked in, they told us about the city and suggested restaurants and activities. Every time we passed by the front desk, we had a lovely chat with whoever was sitting there. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. The location was optimal, right on the edge of the old city and we walked everywhere. We would absolutely stay here again!
Nothing - everything was wonderful.

The hotel location is central and close to many sights and attractions, it also close to a tram stop which is the best way to get around Bordeaux, the room although quite small was fine for a three night stay. We didnt take the breakfast option as there was no breakfast room. The reception staff were always welcoming and helpful. Its a no frills hotel but perfectly fine for a short stay in the lovely city of Bordeaux.
There was nothing to dislike really, the room was a tad small but as said above perfectly fine. There are plenty of nearby places to have breakfast.

We spent our last night in France at Hotel Madame so that we could experience a little of Bordeaux City Centre before we had to go home and we are very glad we did This really is in the centre of everything so it's a great location. We arrived a few hours before check in and the Hotel staff were really helpful, letting us drop our bags off and they let us in our room over an hour early. The room itself was lovely and the large windows really did remind you that you are in the heart of everything. The only bad part was the construction workers starting before 8am in the morning! But that can't be helped by the hotel so it didn't bother us really. The windows didn't have a screen on them but the hotel provides a mosquito plug in so fortunately we didn't get bitten even though we had the windows open for quite a while which we were very grateful for The hotel staff gave some great recommendations of places to eat or things to do. We wish we had more time to try everything they recommended but it's a good excuse to go back and stay longer! The hotel also let us leave our luggage with them after we checked out as we had a few hours until we had to go to the airport. They were also really helpful when we were leaving for the airport and directed us to a much closer tram stop than Google maps did so we were very grateful! We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Bordeaux
