This is my second time staying at Bar Peepal, everything was fantastic. From the breakfast, to the pool/resort facilities, to the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, I wasn't disappointed with a single thing. What makes this property truly exceptional, I think, is the staff, who are super helpful, warm and friendly. Huge shoutout to Rashmita, Anil, Rhitika, Nishant, Pratikshya and Sonuja who made the stay truly superb.

This wasn't a problem for me personally, but this is a hillside property and there's a lot of stairs. Might be worth reaching out ahead of time if you have mobility issues.

The service staff who work here also seem to like this place very much, so the quality of service is very good. They often anticipate our needs in advance (for example, when our whole family was playing in the swimming pool, they would take the initiative to help us take pictures of our family playing in the water). We were very touched! Our guide, Lil, was waiting for us at Bar Peepal Resort Pokhara early in the morning and boarded our chartered vehicle. He was incredibly friendly and professional, and took excellent care of our two children along the way. We loved his climbing pace, and when we needed a break, he offered helpful suggestions for suitable resting spots. Climbing with him was incredibly enjoyable! If I have the opportunity to climb Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) next time, I'd definitely hire him to take us there.

Breakfast was good, other restaurant food was okay (better food in town - try Fresh Elements). Facility was clean, good massage on site. Provided 2L water/day.

Lake view rooms are above the bar and could be a bit loud. Rooms didn't have any shelves or drawers to unpack bags, not even a luggage rack to put bags on. We stayed many nights so we would have liked to unpack. Just a little bit of smarter furniture use would have been better. It's an inexpensive, easy taxi ride to/from town. Sadly, a lot of haze/pollution in March so the mountains were only visible one morning. Bar was lacking - we just drank beer and (non alcoholic) lime sodas.

I had an amazing time in the hotel. The staff was super helpful, always ready to provide support for any thing, for example, transport to and from the airport, or tour recommendations. Also, They even gave me an upgraded room! I had an amazing time, and recommend it a lot.

Pokhara is a city of stairs and ramps, so if you have any condition that doesnt allow you to take many staircases, you might have a difficult time. This is not a problem only of this hotel, is every hotel in the city. But is particularly clear here because it is in the mountain slope, so you have an amazing view of the lake and the city, but at a cost of many stairs.

This place is beautifully appointed. Furnishings, gardens, and surface finishes are all amazing. Very attentive staff who are out to meet your needs at every turn. Food and drink: incredible. Pratiksha made my morning breakfasts perfect with good coffee service. In the afternoon and evening Nishant was a star as well, who delivered not only good food/drink service, but great philosophies of life. I always enjoyed talking to him. The availability of excursions at good prices is great. Hope to get Sujan as your driver.

I really having nothing bad to say.

Breakfast was amazing ... great food and so much choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely to be able to cool down in the infinity pool. Great views of the lake after it rained and cleared the air. Lovely decor and colourful prayer flags. Our delux double room was spacious, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and had a lovely little balcony. This was the first place we had been in where the toilet seat actually fitted the toilet!! A small fridge and an electric kettle were a bonus.

Numbering of the hotel rooms is a bit confusing but there are lots of signs to get you to the reception, restaurant and pool!

I recently stayed at Bar Peepal Resort for one night, and it wasn’t nearly enough, I wish I could have stayed longer! From the moment I arrived until my checkout, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Check-in was quick and efficient, complete with big smiles and a lovely welcome drink that truly impressed me. Mr. Kamal was always available to assist with any questions I had, making my experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, catering to all tastes. My hotel room was very comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities, and provided a peaceful garden view. It felt like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Bar Peepal Resort and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. I hope to see you again in the near future.

BarPeepal Resort has amazing view of Pokhara lake and nice swimming pool. All the staff here are friendly and giving you the best service, ensuring your needs are taken care. Special mention to travel desk Mr Shanker he gives good advice on the activities we can do while Pokhara, Ms Soya at front desk is always smiling and ready to assist. Resort driver Mr Ama is really nice & polite as well giving is some local tips. Security here is very good as well so traveller will feel safe while staying at this property. Breakfast was good with Nepali and international choices of food.

Rooms are a bit outdated but the view and staff made it back!

The room was spacious, the bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud (especially as we had just finished ABC), the view from the balcony was lovely and the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub. Staff were exceptionally helpful and the concierge knowledgable. If we were looking for a restaurant or a shop that sold something specific, his recommendations were spot on and the people there would treat us like royalty as soon as we dropped his name. The gardens are beautiful.

It exceeded our expectations. You do have to walk a bit to get to the hotel but that also means it's quieter, away from the hustle and bustle and being on a hill gives it a great view.

1.The hospitality. All the staff were cordial and cheerful. Mr. Kamal provided us with flexible check-in and check out timings, as we were travelling with a toddler. He also upgraded us to junior suite for free. Big thanks to him. 2. The breakfast buffet had a good variety. 3. Clean and comfortable bed and linen. 4. Free shuttle service to and from lakeside and airport was very convenient.

1. The restaurant menu is way too expensive for the serving size and taste. 2. Location could be problematic as it is at a bit distance away from lakeside. 3. No designated play space for toddlers.
