Excellent location in the heart of Bar Harbor. Very convenient parking (included). A laundry facility just behind the hotel (separate business) was very convenient to help us keep luggage manageable. The complimentary, to-go breakfast and snack options were tasty and very convenient. The room is comfortable (clean and well organized). The small refrigerator was very useful.

The pillows were uncomfortable (very high, gave us neck pain). We improvised wrapping a comforter in pillow cases - problem solved. I wish they had given us a couple towels per person and a few more toiletries.

Our room appeared to have been recently renovated. It was exceptionally clean. The king bed was very comfortable. There was more than enough space for us, especially in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The room more than met our expectations. The best feature is the location close to downtown, which allowed us to walk to the breakfast and dinner restaurants we visited. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Typical for a motel of this type of construction, there is not a lot of sound insulation between the units. It did not bother us, but it might not be an acceptable level of noise for some guests.

What a great place in Bar Harbor! Big clean room with fridge and microwave. Staff there are extremely friendly and accommodating. Three different types of coffee in the office area all day long which was awesome! There are snacks, water, fruit and candy available all day in the office as well. Great location easy walk to all the shops and restaurants but away from the hustle and bustle and noise. Ten minute walk to watch the sunrise over the water. We highly recommend the Main Street Hotel.

The location is great because it is still close enough to easily walk to all of the shops and restaurants but just far enough from the noise and traffic. Especially considering the location, it was great that there was ample parking at no extra charge. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to see all of the complimentary drinks and snacks available in the office.

Comfortable, clean, great location.

I know it’s July 4th, and all places jack up prices, but it’s a little bonkers. I guess I was willing to pay…. So.

This was a great motel in a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We could walk to downtown Bar Harbor easily and a short drive to the right took us to the entrance of Acadia closest to the Sand Beach area and the Ocean Path. (While we were there, there was construction, but normally it has easy access to Acadia.)

The coffee was great, but could have been available a little earlier. If that's the worst thing I can say, you know this is a great place.

This motel was clean and an easy walk to everything. You are in the heart of down town Bar Harbor with a three minute walk to the water. The shops and places to eat were right there. Across the lane, next to the hotel was a small breakfast / lunch place, the coffee was good, the blueberry waffles were yummy and the service was friendly. I would return and recommend this hotel to others.

One night we came back after sunset and we were not able to find parking in the lot. However, there was one small spot in front of the main office they allowed us to park in.

We visited Bar Harbor with another couple the last week of September 2023 . Main Street Motel was such a standout for us. The motel is right downtown Bar Harbor, making everything within walking distance. This is a huge plus because it is extremely difficult to find parking downtown. We never used our car except when driving into Acadia to hike. Our rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The staff were welcoming and helpful - honestly some of the nicest hotel staff I have ever encountered. They were always available to help and chat about Bar Harbor/Acadia. Melayna and all of the staff were top notch! The motel has a 24 hour reception area with free snacks, hot chocolate, tea, fruit, and water bottles. They also have a water bottle refilling station. Absolutely loved that! Coffee was available morning through night, just not in the middle of the night or extremely early morning. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Bar Harbor!

Hooks on the bathroom door or somewhere in bathroom to hang towels would be good.

My spouse didn't like the small amount of counter space in bathroom. No where to leave things. I was okay with it but many motels have more counter space so you can leave your personal items there.

It was perfectly clean and neat! Great location at the end of the main street in Bar Harbor. Lovely in every way. Would stay there again in a heart beat!

A few more outlets for electronics/appliances. Stayed with a friend and we both had to get cleaned up at the same time. An extra plug or strip would have been perfect.
