The hotel is a bit dated, but the room was clean, the linens and towels were clean and fresh, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is easy walking distance to the center of town, and there is plenty of parking. The breakfast was simple (powder eggs, waffles), but well stocked and enjoyable enough. Wifi was strong in our room. Overall, this was a good selection for a one night stay in Leavenworth.

The value for money didn’t feel great overall for this no frills hotel. That said, lodging rates in Leavenworth in general seem pretty high.

The staff was excellent! Very accommodating, courteous, and knowledgeable about the area. Went above and beyond in helping us to have the most enjoyable stay. The breakfast was fantastic, and had a great variety for all needs. Coffee always made, or was more than happy to brew a fresh pot. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you so much to all the staff.

Weren't able to stay longer.Only other thing was we weren't able to get on to a first floor, especially for an elderly person with a walker.

Ok breakfast! I had requested a corner room as we prefer more windows and did not happen. However, it looks like it was our error (poor description) of our request. We were happy with the room. The receptionist that checked us in was super helpful and explained everything well. Thanks again. We love this place.

We love balcony and spacious room. One more little piece to seat extra luggage that is not the floor would have helped.

This was the second time that I've stayed at Der Ritterhof and I would come again sometime. Check-in/out was easy and the staff was friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the beds are comfortable! The AC kept us cool, and the swimming pool was perfect on such a hot summer day. Breakfast is standard stuff. The brewed coffee was good.

The only thing was the condition of the road behind the hotel - it was rough and dusty. I don't think it's the hotel's fault but we drove back around the way we came in instead of taking that road to exit so as not to risk our sport tires.

We liked the rooms, the beds were comfortable and we slept really well. The A/C was excellent. The pool was nice, my children still had fun swimming. The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of hot water for a family of 4. The breakfast was great! The staff was very kind and friendly also.

The pool was kind of small but it still was fun! It would’ve been nice to have a microwave in the room but luckily it was only a short walk to the lobby to use theirs. The bathroom door is positioned in an awkward spot where it’s hard to get through to the shower.

We stayed in the upper corner room that had beautiful and amazing views of the Main road and the courtyard. The peaked roof made it feel even more spacious and roomy! The only draw back was the noisy heater that would wake you when it kicked on. Other than that- it was an amazing stay and weekend! Will surely stay again and request the same room!

The TV remote is a joke. I have stayed here 3 times over the last 3 years, and the remote to the TV is terrible. I know this is a dumb thing to complain about. It's just that when you finally get to snuggle into bed and the thing is completely non user friendly, it is so frustrating.

The price was great and was close to what I wanted to be near. My sister and her husband were Glamping so I came to hang with them. They gave me a late check out which that extra hour of sleep was appreciated. Thank you

Hate to complain but the pillows were hard as a rock, the mattress was pretty firm as well but it’s personal preference.

Excellent motel in downtown Leavenworth within walking distance of restaurants and the river/island trail. Clean, quiet and roomy. Two sinks - perfect for sharing the room. Nice balcony. Good, protein breakfast and tasty coffee. Loved the no-pet option when booking rooms - bravo!

Ironically, there is a cat in the lobby/breakfast area. The cat was sent outside during breakfast but I saw staff and guests handling the cat and then handling breakfast items - yuck. Decaf coffee was not available. No public restroom near breakfast area. The in-room mirrors were dirty.

The complimentary hot breakfast is very much enjoyed and appreciated! The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and on ground-level :) :) (saving us from lugging luggages up/down stairs!)

This is not an issue, only additional tips for a better stay. We only found out about the FOC borrowing of sleds (for sledding down the little slope at Front Street) on our last day of stay! If only there was some signage / information, then we could have enjoyed this facility. Perhaps hotel management could put up a sign where the sled are placed? We thought they belong to some guests and did not dare to use them!
