Beautiful property and great location!

High service charge taxes on everything! $35 a day for resort fee plus another 4+ dollars of taxes. Same thing for garage parking $40 a night plus taxes.

The convenience to everything was perfect!

I think it’s unfair to charge daily for parking. That should have been included in the resort fee. And honestly, why do we have to pay for a resort fee? Everything we did was a fee and a tip! They need to man the pool better. Not enough chairs and they should have a policy that if your party leaves to eat or go on the beach you loose your spot. No saving seats in advance period. We stayed for 3 days and never got a seat.

The location is wonderful. The room was clean and it had a good view of the ocean

The lobby was extremely full with conference attendees. It was loud with lots of drinking and intoxicated people. It was impossible for other guests that were not a part of the conference to enjoy the lobby area. Also, one of the days a huge portion of the pool area was blocked off for most of the day and evening for a conference event. It was very discouraging and frustrating for us and really diminished our stay. I voiced my displeasure and was told that there is no way of me knowing for future bookings that the resort will be hosting conferences. It was not an optimal family experience at the resort.

Location was perfect, food was amazing

There was an issue with booking.com communicating with hotel system so they were going to charge us for what we already paid up front. Sometimes the music in the lobby was SO loud you couldn’t hear the front desk employees. My suggestion would be to turn down music and when charging amenities ( food,etc) to your room you should tap your room bracelet to confirm it’s your room. You need it to get into the pool and rooms This would stop other people from using your room number to pay for their items. Anyone can say a different room number and then they aren’t charged. That’s what happened to us.

Very nice staff. Always willing to help and accommodate our needs. The food at Ocean Hai and the cafe were great! They made things very easy to reserve dining and communicated via text for convenience. Loved that! We utilized the spa for a shower pass and it was a wonderful experience.

They missed a day cleaning our room so we when we arrived back at the hotel after dinner and shopping we had to get assistance from staff to provide fresh towels and change the bedding after 9pm at night. The staff were great and had our fresh towels and clean bed ready quickly! I liked they offered robes but they were very uncomfortable. They were a little slow on getting our luggage to us when checking out. But very courteous and friendly!!!!

I loved the whole experience of staying. The staff was incredible, the perks of staying there was good, and just the over all stay was amazing. We been talking about our vacation since we left and I keep saying how I want to go back. It was wonderful and the location was amazing too.

I didn’t like all the surprise “tax’s” and holds they do on your cards if you’re staying. I know all/most resorts do it but still always a little surprising at the end getting your bill. Also I don’t understand why they put a hold on your card at the restaurants either.

The room was directly overlooking the impressive beach which along with the promenade was cleaned every day. Hotel guests are provided with 2 beach chairs and a sun umbrella or alternatively a cabana at concessionary cost. The hotel is a short walk to a number of restaurants and beach side bars. The Wyndham is clean and well managed in all areas. We enjoyed breakfast each day and one evening meal. This is a good option when visiting Clearwater.

I have been visiting clear water for years & the Wyndham is my favorite place to stay! Every time I walk up those steps I feel like I am entering a place of joy & relaxation! It’s central located & the food & service are impeccable! This last visit we were celebrating my up coming 50th birthday & the lady working the front desk had just celebrated her 40th. Later that evening there was a had written card in our room as well as a bottle of champagne & a dessert! Now that’s service!!

Free beach chairs at the ocean. Rooms were clean.

Price of parking is extremely high. Came on motorcycle first night no issues parking. The next day the valet accused us of not staying at the hotel, and insinuated motorcycle riders did not stay there. Which is untrue because we have been before on motorcycles. He stated we couldn’t park a motorcycle there because it was valet only. Guy was not going to ride our motorcycle and my husband said do you have a motorcycle cycle license, he didn’t so he said then I will have to park it. The evening before the valet just showed him where to park it. Microwave in rooms would be nice

This was a fantastic property! From the moment we pulled up, there were 2 valet team members that raced to the car, offered us water and wisked us to the front desk. Although we were early, they offered us an upgraded room and we went right upstairs with the bellman. The room was like new and beautifully furnished. The bed was super comfortable. The pool are is lovely and in the heat of the summer we really loved that the pool was cooled. The wait staff at the pool could not have been more efficient and friendly. Great drinks at a good price and a nice selection of food. The caesar salad was great. Lots of smiling team members. They offered two towels, one that had a pocket for over the top of the chair and one for your body. At breakfast in the morning they had indoor and outdoor seating. A buffet on weekends which was basically tons to order and super delicious. At night the lobby bar was lively with great bartenders. This hotel is very centrally located and you cannot beat it. Great job team Wyndham. You made our stay perfect!
