When I saw Riyad Anya pop up on my Instagram I knew I had to travel to Morocco and stay there. The videos and photos looked gorgeous. Upon arrival, I was taken aback by the stunning architecture, aroma and the hospitality from the staff. The pool, hanging Moroccan lights and plants made the Riyad magical. Our room had several Moroccan lights cubbies to store all of our things and the shower gel is a must try. Our host there was Mustafa. Not enough can be said about the service, care, punctuality and genuine service he provided Our other host, Walid, serenaded us with a guitar and live music nightly. The conversation, and laughter we shared truly made our trip to Morocco memorable. We had a mouth watering, savory, delicious meal, chicken taginr at the Riyad. In my opinion it was the best chicken tagine I had while in Morocco. Shout out to the chef ! Other than our dinner, the spreads for breakfast were phenomenal. We had multiple types of bread, jams and the Moroccan tea was a must at every meal. We also had a massage and hamam experience. I fell asleep while getting my massage. It was great ! The last time I was bathed, scrubbed from head to toe and had my hair washed like that was when I was 4 years old and my mother did it ! It was an experience I’ll never forget. If you stay at Riyad Anya you will be pleased with the kindness and service they provide. Mohammed guided us on which places we should visit, semo was my contact on booking.com, he worked with us closely to schedule our massages and dinner, walid sang to us and mustafa was our nurse when my friend scraped her elbow, he was our server, guide, and great friend. We were always told that this isn’t your hotel, it’s your home so always come back.

We had such a nice stay at Riad Anya. First thing when we arrived, the manager made us a tour of the riad and explained the history behind. Also, he gave us tips regarding visiting Marrakesh, gave a map and explained everything we wanted to know. it was very nice to know that even you are far away from home, someone will take care about you. All the staff is really nice, they helped us with the reservations at the restaurants in town, booking the the taxis and even organizing excursions. The breakfast was delicious and varied, they can make you anything you want, even at dinner, just ask them and they go to buy fresh ingredients for your dinner. The room was spacious, clean, smelled really nice with clean and nice towels. You have hot water anytime and even an air conditioner to warm the room. Also, we had a hammam and massage in the riad. I have the best massage, with a lady who was really attentive and professional. After the massage, we stayed on the rooftop in the jacuzzi, really nice experience! The location of the riad is just perfect, not in the noisy old souk, but just at 5 minutes walk, also close walk to the Tombs and Bahia Palace and close walk to new modern city! It was a perfect accommodation and I totally recommend!

I recently stayed at Riad Anya in Marrakesh for three days in July with my two siblings, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s friendliness and attentiveness made our stay truly memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, addressing all our needs and questions with genuine warmth. The riad itself is a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city, offering a much-needed respite from the intense heat. They provided ample water, which was a lifesaver in the sweltering temperatures, and the availability of chilled water at a better rate than local shops was a thoughtful touch. The highlight of our stay was the refreshing pool, perfect for cooling off throughout the day. We also indulged in massages at the riad on our first day, which was a relaxing way to kick off our visit. The common area was a fantastic spot to unwind; we enjoyed the air conditioning, played chess and checkers, socialized with other guests and staff, and even smoked hookah. Each morning, we were treated to a phenomenal breakfast that was consistently delicious. The riad's convenient location allowed us to explore many nearby attractions and local eateries on foot, making it easy to experience the vibrant city. Overall, Riad Anya provided a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and exceptional hospitality. The staff’s friendly and accommodating nature truly enhanced our stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene retreat in Marrakesh with easy access to the city’s sights.

I don’t normally write hotel reviews in detail because usually there is not much to say. But in this case I have to take my time.. I’ve traveled around the world and stayed in several high end hotels, had awesome experiences but almost nothing compares to this one. The riad was incredibly beautiful, the decoration and vibe of this riad was better then most 5 star hotels I’ve been. The rooms were very spacious and always super clean, the cleaning lady’s were amazing, they not only cleaned everything they also took care of clothes or anything out of place, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The staff was probably the best I’ve encountered ever… they seemed not only nice but very genuine too, like their kindness came from a place of good intentions and not just after tips or money. Really incredible service and experience, specifically Khalid, Muhamed, Youssef and Mustapha (hopefully I’m not miss pronouncing their names) - they made this trip one of the best I’ve ever had. Always felt at “home”. I only had dinner one time at the riad and I really regret it.. because the food was AMAZING, best dinner I had in Marrocos and also the cheapest one (only 20€), I wish I had dinner more times here! In conclusion, I want to comeback to Morroco 🇲🇦 just to stay here again, that’s how much I liked it. Also I was traveling alone and they made me feel like home 🙏🏼

Everything was perfect

I recommend this hotel immensely. I had such a wonderful time - it was a truly special experience. The riad is beautiful- stunningly decorated with so many beautiful spots to sit down, relax and have some tea. It‘s the perfect place for a break after long days in busy Marrakesh. It feels like you step into an oasis, away from the noise, dust and dirt. On the rooftop, you have a beautiful view and cute birds chirping away. I loved having breakfast up there (and was surprised to be the only guest at the time to have it on the rooftop). On the topic of breakfast- it is truly delicious and always freshly made for you. The orange marmalade with the crepe as well as the cheese omelette were my favourites. I had breakfast in other hotels when I continued my travels and it was never even close to as good as it was at Riad Anya & Spa. Dinner was also excellent - three courses (4 if you count the olives which are delicious). I had dinner at other nice places in Marrakesh which were all good but this dinner stood out. I think it‘s worth booking it for your first night - especially if you arrive late like I did. The staff is honestly the icing on the cake - it makes this hotel from a great hotel to an exceptional one. It is rare to find a hotel where every single member of staff makes you feel so welcome and is so cheerful and helpful. I don’t have the words to describe how special the service is at this hotel - it’s truly unmatched. Special shoutout to the Berber reception member who showed me around the hotel and made sure everything was great every day. He speaks German (and though he says he is not very good, I think he did so incredibly well). I recommend this place highly. I was so sad to leave and wished I could have stayed longer. If I go back to Marrakesh I will definitely book here again.

Riad Anya is stunning! It´s like a serene oasis in midst of all the chaos that is Marrakech. The staff is amazing, will do their utmost to make you feel welcome. I cannot praise them enough! I felt so taken care of and pampered my whole stay. The location is great, just a few minutes walking distance from Djemaa el-Fna but not in the middle of the busiest streets. My room was light, clean, and very silent. The rooftop was nice to have for relaxing after all the walking and sightseeing. I enjoyed reading on the sunbeds and take a dip in the jacuzzi. Would most definitely book again.

I'm blown away by the exceptional service and attention to detail at this riad! The staff wash the floors daily, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The hospitality is top-notch - the team is warm, welcoming, and accommodating. My room was impeccably clean and well-stocked with amenities like water, coffee, fruits, and even cotton pads. The riad's focus on detail is impressive, from the soothing music playing in the background to the signature shampoo made from Moroccan spices, which fills the air with a relaxing fragrance. Safety is also a priority here - the riad is secure, and the staff controls access, making it a tranquil oasis. I felt so comfortable that I even slept with my doors and windows open! The staff is respectful, friendly, and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. They even offered my guest coffee while he waited for me!

Riad Anya was definitely as described and more. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Simon and Mohammad who showed great hospitality. The Riad is clean, quiet, spacious and the service is impeccable. Khaled and Mostafa also made sure we had everything we needed and were great hosts. The location is also safe and easy to get to. Last but not least, breakfast and dinner were always tasty. We opted for the extra dinner option for 20€/person one evening and it did not disappoint. Thank you to the Riad Anya family for a memorable Riad stay!

The staff were so kind and attentive to us, they went above and beyond, always making sure we were happy and that our needs were met. They helped arrange taxis to the airport and for trips out and got us good prices. They gave us a map and explained all the best places to go and useful info such as free ATMs. They welcomed us with tea and a tour around the Riad. We could choose where to sit to eat, either downstairs or at the roof terrace. We had a big selection of food at breakfast every morning, we could even request extra, for example one morning we asked for fruit and someone went out to buy us some! The breakfast often included pancakes, bread, fruit, omelettes, cake, syrups/jam (the selection could vary). The Riad was so beautiful! There are so many place to sit and relax and to take nice pictures. We felt sad to leave because everyone working there was so nice! Definitely recommend.

The Riad is absolutely fantastic, and the staff make it even better. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home, consistently going the extra mile to meet any need or request. Simo and Mohamed, along with the rest of the team, were exceptional, providing warm and attentive service throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options including fresh bread, pancakes, orange juice, coffee or tea, eggs or yoghurt or fruits. Though the Riad is located in a peaceful area about a 10-15 minute walk from the main square, the distance is manageable. We always felt safe, even when returning late at night.
