I honestly loved everything: the boutique resort has beautiful small houses surrounded by trees and it is located on Tubkaak beach. Everything there proves good taste and attention to details. I found the rooms to be perfect, with everything we needed (I was travelling with my husband and kids, aged 13 and 9). The spa was very good, same for the restaurants or the gym. The breakfast was fantastic, and I would rate the same the employees, who were very nice and helpful. More than this, it is located on the most beautiful beach in Krabi - we were also to Railay and AoNang and, in my opinion, Tubkaak is more beautiful. I am very happy to have discovered this beautiful place and in my next holiday to Thailand I will definitely return here. In my mind, it is connected to the best relaxing time I have ever had.

The beach and its view are just splendid. The food in both restaurants is highly recommendable and worth the price. Go early to the Italian since they are still not really up to speed in terms of service, yet very friendly. Have the Thai food at Thai spice level. It’s heaven. Pomelo salad and the beef salad (ask for rare) are to die for. Breakfast is outstanding. Mr. “Oom” (forgive the spelling) helped us through everything and was of great support! Thank you!

We didn’t find the “couches” on the beach comfortable at all! Back pain after a few minutes. Then the long chairs on the grass couldn’t be adjusted. Careful when booking; there is a new hotel being built right on the right side of the hotel (when moving the beach direction) - make sure you get a room that is on the other side. Rooms are clean and cosy but very small. Get one with a balcony at least. Also be aware that in this area, the sea is exposed to significant high/low tides.

Everything was amazing. The staff were so lovely and wanted everyone to enjoy their stay. The spa treatments were the best we've ever had. We loved the chrysanthemum tea! Such a beautiful hotel and location. We felt instantly relaxed. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Dinner also lovely. Great location for sunsets. One of the best places we've stayed. Just gorgeous!

This hotel looks like it was taken from a movie scene. If you're looking for partying, night clubs and buzz with friends, don't come here, as there is nothing to do after 10pm. But if you're looking for some peace, quiet, meditation, relaxation, 10/10 this is the place to come to. Framed by tropical forest, on one side, and by a paradisiac beach on the other, you feel immersed in some sort of Blue Lagoon movie. The hotel is small sized, not many rooms which allows the perfect conditions for a restful and peaceful stay. The breakfast is served in a gorgeous restaurant on the beach where you can contemplate the sea with the scenic longtail boat. When I thought this would only be result of photoshoped pictures, this hotel just proved me wrong. Cleanliness is of the highest standards. The room is gorgeous, super comfy and the bed is amazing. There is free Nespresso coffee in the room (important, as it's not so common in Asia). If you like asian (and in particular thai) food, you must try the hotel restaurants. Food is superb, delicious and (despite no being cheap according to Thailand standards) it is still cheap as per european standards. There is also italian restaurant with very good pasta, risotto and pizzas (surprisingly). Finally, and most important of all, the service is truly 5 stars. All the staff is so delicate, so kind, so humble. They will always stop what they are doing to say hello as you pass by and they will do anything to solve any query you have. On our particular case, we had a big issue upon arrival in the airport, where we were left with no taxi and no option to come to the hotel, at night (as Krabi goes to sleep at 10pm) and Tubkaak managed to get us a taxi in 20min. To the hotel: never cease to provide highest standards of service. Summary: I've been to many 5 stars hotels but this is definitely the best hotel and best holidays I've ever had in my life. Strongly recommend.

Truly hard to find one thing, but I'd suggest to the hotel to put some sockets by the bed to charge the phones during the night. The existing sockets are not near the bed.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. So much nature all around, and the beach is stunning too. We stayed in a pool villa and it was perfect, with its own pool- the pool was a really good size and also had an outdoor bath. The room was well equipped with a decent hairdryer, excellent shower, two sinks, large vanity unit in the bathroom, plenty of toiletries and towels. The bedroom was also spacious with a good sized bed, large TV, kettle, plenty of bottled water every day. The staff are so polite and helpful and so professional. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, the lady cooking at the egg station is very talented

The price of food and drink in the resort was very good but a bit overpriced.

This was our first stay at The Tubkaak Krabi, after alot of research on the area and island. The hotel rooms and villas are perfect and tastefully designed to suit the surrounding environment. A lovely location just footsteps from the beach. The beach is very clean, quiet and tranquil - unspoiled from the many overcrowded areas of the island. The food is exceptional. We mostly ate all Thai in the Arundina - if you are a foodie this cuts the hotel from the rest in Krabi. The service from the hotel team including Supa, Nan, Def, Soup, Thita and other made the loveliest of times for our break away in January. We will be returning next year.

Maybe some more sun loungers available by the pool that get the sun all day ! As there are only 4 the rest are in the shade :) Can’t fault it otherwise :)

Stunning location both on the fantastic uncrowded beach with stunning views and the low rise traditional style and setting amongst the trees. Well laid out to enhance uncrowded and tropical feel. Rooms were well appointed with great bathrooms. 2 good restaurants on site with easy access to a few more off property within short walking distance down the beach. Probably the greatest feature of the hotel are the attentive staff. Warm, friendly and welcoming whatever their role. Everyone went out of their way to ensure you had a fabulous stay. We can't praise them enough and we shall miss them all, especially the lovely waitress "Guide" who always had a smile for us and brightened the day.

The hotel has a stunning beach front setting which is popular. The staff do a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but could also be tasked to remove towels from loungers when guests have clearly just left them to reserve a space but are not using them. Whilst not a major issue, when it rains there isn't really anywhere to take shelter and relax other than sitting at a table in the restaurant/bar or retreating to your room.

We loved our short break at this hotel, we stayed in two different rooms each for one night. Both were lovely but our favourite was the Sea View room. Tastefully decorated and set in such lovely grounds. The hotel has its own private beach which is absolutely stunning, there are kayaks and SUPs available for guests to use which we made use of. We would love to stay again for longer and try some of the activities they offer throughout the week. Our stay was short but loved and we would happily return to the Tubkaak again given the chance.

What can be said about this hotel that hasn't already been said? It's everything and more… with the views, the rooms, and the exceptional, happy, friendly staff. This place I could not fault. Maybe it could do with another restaurant on its grounds, like a steakhouse. But hey, that's just me and my belly thinking.

The beach was a little messy, with the odd bit of driftwood and the odd sharp coral/rock. Maybe a large rake pulled behind a buggy would do the trick occasionally. But the eco police may have a say in this, which is a good thing.

Tubkaak is very well laid out with amazing views of the sea. It is very quiet and peaceful especially if you love nature and enjoying waking up to the sound of birds.
