Rooms - a lovely authentic zanzibar feel with all the luxuries needed. Room service and laundry options are cute details. Only minor thing is some of the window slats need a little repair. Food - magnificent extravagant breakfasts. Great snacks and tasty dinners. Big kudos to the chefs! Beach and pools - two pools on site for quieter relaxation and loungers on the beach too for the lapping of the waves. Fantastic! Last but not least, some honourable mentions from our stay - Thank You to Grace, Stella, Ndebile, Masoud, Rashid, John, Kelvin, and Salum. Genuinely awesome people. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sevi Boutique Hotel. A heartfelt thank you for the warm and thoughtful welcome! This little slice of paradise in Zanzibar allowed us to completely disconnect — the place is stunning, peaceful, and far from all the chaos. The setting is idyllic, the beach is beautiful, and the service was truly outstanding. Every detail was taken care of, and we really appreciated all the kind gestures throughout our stay. Thank you again for everything — we leave fully rested and with wonderful memories!

Really loved our stay at Sevi Boutique Hotel. Communication pre-arrival was smooth and the team was extremely helpful! Location is great with beautiful beach, and located very close to Mnemba Island (which you can and should visit - and Sevi Boutique Hotel organizes excursions there with their boat). The Bungalows are large and very nicely decorated, outside area with swing was absolutely a plus! Food was incredible, we had a few meals and all very very good, and we were served fantastically by Salum (which we thank). We had a fantastic time and absolutely reccomend staying here.

The hotel was perfect, better than we imagined. Staff very nice and caring. The bungalow were clean and well equipped. Also very cozy and romantic- perfect place to chill out after long day or have a glass of wine with your loved one. Nice touch is a little pool in every bungalow. Restaurant view is stunning. Having breakfast there was a unique experience. Food was delicious Hotel has two pools (one type infinity!) and also kind of a “private” beach so you can stay there not disturbed. I would definitely recommend to everyone and would ki to come back one day as well

The lodge is clean,well looked after,the staff are all very helpfull and super friendly, food was good, I did feel that some menu items were very overpriced

Being situated right beside the village,it was very noisy at times, one night, we hardly slept as loud music continued throughout the night,the while of the next day was the same,but atleast the noise stopped later that evening. The beach is covered in litter,plastic ,diapers, and fishing line,everywhere The ac in our room wasn't working properly and the basin drain in the batroom was completely blocked.

This place was even better than expected. Firstly, the property is absolutely beautiful. Tucked away in a little cove on a powdery white sand beach, with all the bungalows surrounded by lush greenery, it truly felt like paradise. Our little bungalow was perfect - clean, spacious, and even had our own private plunge pool and hammock. We always looked forward to our meals as the food was always fresh and never disappointed. The staff were also incredible and really made our stay. Haji was fantastic, welcoming us on our first night and guiding us through our first Swahili dinner. Fabian was lovely and very helpful. He was always around chatting to us and the other guests and assisting if we needed anything (and helped organise our excursion to Mnemba Island). Salum was also wonderful (and very funny!) and made our last night a blast. This is just to name a few who stood out, but everyone who works at SeVi is friendly, kind, and clearly cares about making guests feel welcomed and at home. There are so many hotels and resorts on the island, many of which seem to be heavily commercialized and designed with mass tourism in mind. If you're coming to Zanzibar for a holiday, do yourself a favour and avoid those places and stay here instead. SeVi is the perfect blend of local and luxury and offers everything you could want for a relaxing stay. Will definitely be back!

There was nothing we didn't like about this place. The beach did have some seaweed, but we understood that was common across most beaches that time of year (also, it's just part of nature). Even still, staff raked the beach every morning to ensure guests could enjoy as much as possible. The only real thing I didn't like was that we had to leave!

F&B was simply amazing - very well-designed menu, changing everyday. I LOVED breakfasts - extremely tasty and plenty of options, one could not get bored of them. Amazing nature and landscaping, extremely professional and friendly staff, making you feel at home. Great housekeeping making sure the mosquitos are not biting at night (they were preparing the room every evening). I loved the dinners and the wine selection - kudos to the F&B manager. The airport transportation and the trips were well-organized as well. The quality of sleep and the relaxation we got from the stay is simply amazing.

During the amazing snorkeling trip, would be great to get a bit more guidance and ideas from the tour crew (they were not sure where to take us after the 1st stop). However, the entire trip was pleasant regardless. In terms of the hotel, the only thing that was not fully working was the wifi with 3 devices limit, but the issue was solved by the Team and we got some extra wifi codes.

The hotel gardens and pool areas are beautiful and the rooms very spacious. We came for snorkeling and diving by Mnemba island and for that, the location was perfect. The beach is very pretty as well, although not for swimming. The staff were all very friendly.

It would have been nice to have the option of ordering lunch by the pool. The service in the restaurant around lunch time was a little slow, which takes time out of your day.

I am a Traveller, i have been to 30 destinations, but the experience I had at Sevi was the best out of all my experiences. The staff were so so warm and friendly, they felt like family. Big thanks to Petro, Salloum, the assistant manager and all the amazing team. The ambiance is very special, you feel you are in jungle/island. Food taste and varieties (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was so excellent , The chef is outstanding. everyday after each meal I was looking forward to the following meal . I fell I love with the bathroom amenities, the shower gel and shampoo were exceptional.

I understand that the pool is surrounded by nature, but i would appreciate if it was cleaned more , it was covered with flies, i stayed in another hotel in Zanzibaf and pool had very very few flies compared to Sevi.

The location is EXCELLENT! Private bay with only one other property. The food is outstanding!

The pool needed a bit of an update. Too many plastic bottles of water. There should be water stations around the property where guests can get a recyclable cup with ice and fill from a water jug. Some of the service staff English was poor and so it was difficult to communicate orders and mistakes were made. But that is my fault I should know more swahili.
