An ideal place to stay and base yourself, easy access to the railway station and the little train which circumnavigates Mount Etna. Our host Elena was lovely and made some good recommendations for local places very close by to eat and drink at, Birreria Riposto and Glass were exceptional and only a 5 minute walk away. The accommodation was of a high standard and wonderfully decorated. I would also recommend an organised wine and train ride to the slopes of Mount Etna.

Beautifully designed and upscale interior. Super plush and comfortable king bed. Spacious with plenty of room for unpacking. Super responsive host. Excellent restaurants within a few blocks walk.

The only potential issue is that there is traffic noise outside the bedroom despite the heavy sound muffling window treatments. Thus was not a problem for me as I slept great in the luxurious bed, but was a problem for my husband who is very sensitive to sound in his sleep.

The house was beautifully renovated. The bathroom was huge and the kitchen fully equipped. The landlady was very kind and helpful, she also gave us some great choices for food and drinks in the area.

The musty smell of the humidity in the room was really annoying. Riposto is sadly an abandoned town, so there is nothing to do there apart from a couple of nice places to dine. However, it's a convenient choice if you want to explore this side of Sicily but avoid the crowds of tourists.

A great guesthouse with an exceptional host. The suite had everything we needed and Elena was responsive and helpful and just generally very nice. The whole place is very well appointed and clean. The kids enjoyed the hot tub in particular and the beds were very comfortable – this was a very good place to stay.

Giarre-Riposto itself isn’t really set up for tourists to spend a lot of time there and doesn’t have a seaside even though it is by the sea. There are great places within a 20-minute drive, so this could be a good base to explore the region from, but if you don’t have a car and are looking for a seaside holiday, you’ll need a plan to get around.

Elena is the perfect host. She is welcoming, smiling. She will offer you a lift to the train station, she will make sure you feel like at home and that you miss nothing. She will give you tips if needed and she is always available. Her place is perfect. 100% clean, near the train station and she is generous with a welcoming supply of fine pastries and Prosecco. The loft was modern and it was calm and everything was functional. If you need a place for Riposto or Mount Etna, don’t hesitate and book quickly at Creuza de Ma :)

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The whole family was very happy with the spacious and well-equipped rooms – having a kitchen allowed us to cook a few meals, which was really convenient. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with main attractions like Taormina and Mount Etna just a short drive away. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back!

Our host Elena was extremely kind and was always available with tips and advice. Thank you! The apartment is in a newly renovated early 20th century building. The attention to detail with which the whole place was refurbished was impressive. Our aprtment was on the first floor and quiet, windows overlooking the courtyard with the pool. It was our base to travel to Etna cable car station (45min by car). The main train station of Giarrre/Riposto and the Circumetnea train station are both on a 10-15min walking distance.

Everything was perfect.

Our stay was exceptional! The room was beautifully furnished with a lot of attention to detail. It was spacious with everything you need, incl. coffee machine + coffee, well working air conditioning, even a washing machine. We had the pleasure to stay in the Apartment Bocca di Rosa with a private rooftop terrace incl. a Whirl Pool, which was amazing to relax after a day full of activities. There is also a nice Pool area which is usually never crowded due to the limited guest rooms at Creuza de Ma. Elena is the most amazing host: Always reachable, flexible, attention to detail and the best recommendations for Restaurants, excursions, beaches etc. My advice: follow her recommendations - they are the finest selection of the area. About Riposto: It is a cute town, not too touristic but with a few amazing restaurants and bars. It is a great alternative to the crowded and overpriced Taormina, which you can easily reach by car within 30 minutes.

We really enjoyed the apartment, it is clean, spacious and modern. All the shops and restaurants are really close by so easy to access and enjoy this little town of Riposto. It was really great to have a pool and enough space to enjoy sun on the terrace. Elena is an amazing host, very welcoming and helpful. Loved our vacation here!
