We were driving through France on the way to Spain. We booked because it was close to the motorway. The hotel allows dogs but we were told they are not allowed in the restaurants or bar. We were really pleasantly surprised because when we arrived we were told we could take our dog into the bar and restaunt and they are both popular spots for locals; the bar is buzzing and one of the restaurants serves excellent, good-value food. So we had an unexpectedly good evening.

The room was beautiful but very small. The man on reception must have been having a bad day because he seemed very sad!

Exceptional! From the kind and very helpful staff to the fine details of the room. How soundproof soundproof can be? There was a live DJ about 20 meters from our room in the outdoor lounge and party area, but with the terrace door closed, it was absolute silence inside the room! Nespresso machine, good dark curtains and a quiet airco. This was such a perfect sleep on our route to Spain that we booked it again for the return trip (and we rarely visit the same hotel twice because its part of the fun to explore new places)

We booked here as a 1 night stopover on holiday, but it turned into a highlight of the trip. We stayed in the suite, which was spectacular. We ate in The Bouillon - service was exceptional, food great and extremely well priced! There was an event in the evening that we were there, so we enjoyed relaxing in the rooftop bar and listening to the music. If we’re on a similar trip in future we will return!

Convenient location and a great standard of comfort. Rooms on the front nice and quiet. Chic and attractive place

Food was a poor standard. Probably the worst we encountered in France. We were there on a big summer party night and some of the young staff seemed more interested in people watching than looking after their restaurant customers. Messed up orders and poor quality food I'm afraid.

Our second visit - driving through on our way to and from Spain from the UK. The hotel location is convenient for our route and the rooms are attractive and nicely furnished. The hotel also has a really good bar that is popular with locals as well as guests. There are two restaurants, one quite smart but the other offers really good value food and this, too, gets busy with locals as well as hotel guests.

The breakfast was OK, the cooked part was poor. Dinner the night before was good. Staff were great apart from one of the guys on reception who was surely boarding on hostile.

We did not like the two floor room. I assume it was to get more rooms on the top floor. impractical to have the bathroom on one floor and your clothes on another. Also thought the supplement for the dog a little steep.

Location close to the freeway , the parking garage price very nice , the bar and terrace room was nice and great shower …staff was very professional especially Lucie at the front desk and Clea our waitress at the restaurant Bouillon

The French fries at bouillon very soggy and the tomato mozzarella looks llike industrial dish otherwise food was ok and price ok

Location was good for being near the major motorways. The room was a bit odd in that it had a bed and shower and sink in the upper mezzanine floor and the toilet downstairs. Breakfast was okay. Hotel was dog friendly, which was great and the restaurant and bar staff were very good.

the room layout was unusual. Having a sink to wash hands beside the toilet bowl would have helped.

Friendliness of staff at reception and bar. Easy to get to from motorway but far enough away so no noise. Plenty of parking too. Loved the layout of the room

The brasserie was not open on a Sunday. The new tram system being installed meant several roads were closed and it was difficult to navigate the city. We were not made aware of this

The decor and style is really well thought out! You feel like you are in a modern hotel but with some nostalgic elements from the mid-century.

The only two things that we would note (but would definitely not stop us from recommending or staying again) is the water pressure in the shower and the bedroom struggled to get really warm during the night.
