This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The welcome was friendly and very good explanation about everything. Staff were friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to make our stay special. Massage ladies that came to our room carrying their tables, were the best we had in Bali, they were superb. The location was peaceful countryside. The bamboo house are interesting and exciting. Will definitely come again to experience this very special place and recommend to all. Thankyou for best stay.

Concept is good. Plantation and nature surrounding the house is unique. Facilities are perfect. All details are one of a kind.

We must not forget that main purpose of an accommodation facility is sleeping. Having some time in the nature is one thing, sleeping unprotected in the jungle is another thing. I'm in love with nature, but I wouldn't like to wake up with a reptile family in my bed. The bed area does not have any kind of closure /protection at all. Come on.... My 20 Euro tent has a zip. We paid 170 Euro for one night and ended up booking another room at Sidemen for sleeping. You should seal at least the bed area with a tulle or something. Anything could climb from the sides to the bed. Plus... Vehicles passing the road behind are disturbing at night, as the room is 15m from the road.

The villa and its surroundings were breathtaking, the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff was pleasant, attentive and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Unfortunately the villa in which I stayed had openings, so insects came inside during the night. However, there was a mosquito net above the bed which prevented insects from coming on me while I slept.

The hosts are the most polite you'll ever meet and super helpful. The food is amazing, the houses are absolutely beautiful and the area is just stunning as well. We rented a bike and explored nearby attractions as a local guide was hard to come by due to rain. Prepare for everything being a bit more expensive this side of the island and grab/gojek not being available.

As this property is in the middle of the jungle, you'll live with some small critters like skinks, geckos and lots of frogs. It rained while we stayed so frogs were everywhere. The bathroom is outside, so sometimes you'll get a surprise. I would've liked if the inside area was a bit more secure from this, there are large openings between walls and ceiling and the mosquito net doesn't fully cover the bed.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was beautiful and very secluded. It felt like we were right in the middle of the rainforest. The food was delicious and we had a very nice massage.

Communication with staff was a bit challenging at times, which meant it took quite a while for us to get into our room, order food and organise activities, and there was some confusion with our pick up. The bathroom and shower were not completely private which was a bit stressful when people came to our room to drop off/pick up food. The ladder up to the bedroom from the living area was quite scary to operate with just a rope to hold onto - especially as I was recovering from a fractured ankle!

We spent Christmas here and it was one of the most magical days of my life! The design of the hideout is a work of art, the bedroom, the netted chill out area, the heated infinity pool overlooking the rice fields and mountains was simply incredible! It’s totally private too. The design of the place including the lighting at night was magical! The service was 10/10, we would LOVE to come back again! We stayed at Element Villa. Such an amazing place! Great view, nice pool with warm water, fireplace, a huge hammock, fantastic view from the upstairs bedroom with view on the mountain and rice fields. The staff is super friendly, you order whatever you need through WhatsApp and they deliver at the villa. We even had a massage there. We didn’t leave the place for 2 days and it was great!

Everything was amazing! Keep in mind you’re surrounded by nature and wildlife - so be open minded to share the space with some insects and frogs :) which is a 100% real experience! Nothing dangerous, just enjoy this unique experience!

We stayed in the Element villa and it was absolutely incredible! Every detail is well designed and the whole property was stunning. We especially loved the infinity hot tub overlooking the incredible view, and the giant net suspended over the trees. The bed is so comfortable and has an amazing view as well. The waterfall shower was also wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

Our only complaint was that although we arrived at the check in time, the room wasn’t ready until an hour after we were supposed to check in. This meant we got an hour less of daylight to enjoy the villa.

An Unforgettable Stay at Hideout Bali I recently had the privilege of staying at Hideout Bali, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I also appreciated how eco-conscious the property is – it’s clear they care deeply about the environment and sustainability. My stay at Hideout Bali was everything I hoped for and more. It’s the perfect retreat to disconnect from the hustle of daily life and reconnect with nature. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning my return. If you’re considering Hideout Bali, don’t hesitate – it’s an experience you’ll cherish forever.

Where to start… I was quite skeptical about staying at Hideout, not for the hotel itself but for its location. For someone that is “scared” of all kinds of insects and wild animals, I must say that I lived the best “jungle experience”! From the moment we arrived we felt lighter and in contact with the nature. We booked the newest and further house from the reception are, so we were taken by car. Staff very kind and friendly helped with our luggage up 67 (exact) stairs up to our breathtaking villa. It’s hard to describe Element without experiencing it. It’s truly special! The room, the pool, the view to the volcano, the infinite rice fields and the hard working locals, the food, the drinks, the service, everything about it was all we could have asked for and more! It was so good that we did not leave the villa from start to finish! In terms of the jungle habitants, it was absolutely fine! Will certainly be back, perhaps to their next new ones!
