We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft Myers Beach-Sanibel Gateway by IHG! The hotel is centrally located, making it perfect for quick trips to Sanibel Island, Captiva, and Fort Myers Beach. The rooms are clean, and spacious, providing a very comfortable stay. Breakfast had a nice variety of options to start the day, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. There's also plenty of parking, which made things even easier. Overall, a fantastic place to stay—highly recommended!

It was maintained super clean. My boyfriend was very impressed by the breakfast with a.lot to offer. And how clean and organized it was. The woman running it was super friendly and she kept it so clean and fully stocked.

One thing, the walls are too thin, the people next to us were fighting through the night and morning, she was loud and vulgar. I didn't call the desk because I first didn't know which room and wasn't sure there were staff through the night. Only negative with our stay.

Room large, both bathroom and room very clean, beds comfortable. Friendly staff, lots of fresh towels. Free coffee and tea in the lobby all day. Good base for excursions in the area

There is room for improvement regarding breakfast. No fresh or healthy options except for some apples wrapped in plastic. Everything is prepacked, lots of sugars, fats, preservatives and flavors. Styrofoam plates and cups and plastic cutlery. Please change. The only way to prepare a tea in your room is by using the coffee machine. Nobody wants tea that tastes like coffee

The food at breakfast was very good had many options even 3 different types of yogurts! Very pleased as I stayed more than one night I didn't have the same food over and over again.

It's been 10 business days and the transaction still hasn't finalized therefore I have not gotten my deposit back. I suppose I should have asked for a receipt! Also, the pet fees were not posted where I booked they charge $25 per pet per day. Doing more research next time for some hotels that have free pet stays. Lastly, the pool was tiny!

The property was clean & maintained very well! The light & airy decor was very inviting. The pool & pool area was clean with a wonderful warm temperature. The staff were friendly , positively & very accommodating . Breakfast was “above & beyond”, special kudos to the breakfast hostess- she was a star role model for other hotels!

Side entrance/exit door didn’t work with hotel keycard.

Very clean; quite stylish; very quiet; lots of light; very friendly staff; good room lay out; no problem with the key cards, they unlocked the outside doors too; staircases were easy to find (so we don't use the elevators); enough tables to eat breakfast (but I do not think the hotel was full).

A bit stingy with the towels: even though the room was set up for 5 people, they kept giving only 2 sets. They did provide extras when we asked, but we had to ask every day. The room's window is unopenable, and the air was stuffy in spite of the A/C. And the hotel is guilty of greenwashing: yes, they did away with the amenities and tiny bottles, but the A/C in the common areas was unpleasantly cold, they changed the towels every day (nice, yes, but quite wasteful of water) and there was lots of disposable plastic items used for breakfast.

This place was very close to the Key West Express which we went to the next day I do want to put a shout out to the girl that was working the night of November 15th she was totally awesome made it totally great when we came in late very nice very fast check in the rooms were phenomenal I wouldn't even mind using this room for a work away from home because it was so huge and convenience

Location. The ratings were accurate and appreciated. Nice big room. The person who does the breakfast bar was excellent. She was so nice and accommodating. Kept the breakfast area clean and filled. She is a very good asset for the hotel.

The gate locks in the back of hotel. Pool and patio gates were not working correctly.

I liked everything about my stay! I had a miserable stay in a competitor’s hotel. My room at Holiday Inn Express was bright, clean & very comfortable. The location was perfect for my visits to Sanibel Island. It was a great value.

The pool area is very small. I wanted to go out there but the limited number of chairs & tables were occupied by 6 college aged guys smoking & drinking. More furniture at the other end of the pool would be helpful.

Noah who worked the front desk was exceptional at representing your company by always being friendly & courteous & more than willing to go that extra mile to satisfy the customer. I would take Noah on my team any day. As far as the facility it was exceptionally clean & well kept. The breakfast was surprisingly fresh & numerous options from fresh fruit to eggs & bacon or sausage gravy & even fresh juice & yogurts etc. you get the picture. The breakfast lady during the week was a delight to everyone & very vibrant & helpful to all the guest for breakfast & she keeps everything stocked & fresh with a great attitude!
