The first given room was really cold and after 2,3hours I decided to go down and report the problem and then was giving a different room

Amazing location. Peaceful and stunning hotel with a lovely little seating area by the lake. Easy to find and service station within walking distance from the hotel. All the staff were amazing and extra care taken when the event took place. For me and my partner the only fault was the bed, two nights stayed here and the bed was so uncomfortable we checked out at 7am because of the bed. The room was very clean and facilities were great. No way of knowing how to order room service, but I didn't ask to which the staff most probably would off accommodated this. Would stay again but would stay in a different room. Lovely couple get away would reccommended. Also the place is card only to which we had alot of cash rather then card.

Bed was very uncomfortable with an early check out because of this.

The bar staff and Debbie at reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I found an issue with my room where there was a small water leak and when I raised this with them they transferred me swiftly and without hassle. The bar staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Housekeeping was to a good standard and the rooms were a decent size especially for the 5 nights I was there. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and I didn't have a single bad night sleep.

No massive complaints other than some of the facilities being unavailable due to refurbishment which I was made aware of before my stay. The general area seems dilapidated and in need of work although this clearly seems to be a work in progress. The hotel itself though was great. The only other gripe is that the keycards automatically deactivate each day for security which is good but it requires a visit to reception every day to get them reactivated which we weren't made aware of until we queried why the cards didn't work. A minor inconvenience but perfectly understandable.

The staff are absolutely fantastic - really kind, chatty and helpful. The room was beautifully clean. I had a double bed and a sofa bed set up. Large telly, spotless modern bathroom. The bar area is really nice - quite swish and very recently refurbished. The bar is 24 hours and the restaurant is pretty nice too. I had dinner there and breakfast - both lovely meals. I will go back - it was very very nice.

The only issue was that the Spa was being refurbished and I couldn't use the pool. You could see that there were areas of the hotel (which were not open) that are in the process of being refurbished. It didn't spoil the rest of the surroundings as they have been clever about the order they are doing things in - but yeah - there are some bits which are a work in progress - but this was NOT a problem.

From check-in to checkout my experience was phenomenal. I can't express enough how much this hotel surprised me, my family and my friends. I booked it for the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and parents, I was upgraded from a double room to a suite to make my experience more special for getting ready with my bridesmaids in the morning. The staff were lovely and helpful, everyone working made my stay a comfortable one and I will never forget it! The waiters in the restaurant were friendly and funny, made my bridesmaids and me have a wonderful time. Everyone told me I definitely picked a great hotel! Can't wait to come back x

I loved everything!

I had a fantastic stay at Park Hall Resort and Spa. The staff were welcoming, and the resort’s beautiful, peaceful setting made for a relaxing getaway. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with lovely views. The spa treatments were top-notch, leaving me refreshed and relaxed. Dining was a treat, with delicious meals made from fresh, local ingredients. Overall, the service was exceptional, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious escape!

The hotel itself was very good and the staff were extremely helpful, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you have children, as there is a big game zone and a swimming pool and spa and you can go for a walk outside the hotel where there is a pond with ducks in

The only thing was the axcess to the spa facilities, which was hard if you are disabled and can't climb up and down the stairs from your rooms to get to it. They could do with a lift to go straight there, which would be great

Booking in was a bit of a nightmare The lady on reception didn't really know what she was doing Gave us the wrong key to get into our room. No snacks are available after 9 pm . Had to drive out to get some food as we had travelled a long way . Got caught in a traffic jam on thd motorway so by time we got there no food available and also expensive for breakfast.

The staff were so friendly especially Christine who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The bed was comfy, the linen clean and the towels fluffy. The complimentary breakfast was a real bonus. Terrific value for money.

You definitely feel like you are stuck in a time warp! In fact, little has changed since we stayed here in the early nineties. The rooms are dated but clean and not having a lift might be a major problem for some. That is all about to change we believe and we look forward to seeing what the new owners are going to do with somewhere we have very fond memories of.

The hotel itself is lovely. The reception area, restaurant, bar and grounds are of high standard. The food in the restaurant was also amazing.

Although the hotel itself was lovely, the corridors and rooms were really outdated and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. That being said the bathroom in our room was modern but the rest could do with a slight upgrade.
