The bed was comfortable and there was lots of room in our room. The breakfast was the best we've had as far as 'free' breakfast at a hotel.

The heating/A/C unit was literally right next to the bed with a little room to walk sideways to get on that side (king bed). It also was very loud and woke me up each time it came on. We also had a problem with the door where it didn't close unless you slammed it and we couldn't use the deadbolt at all.

I was skeptical about booking the hotel because of so many reviews on the construction. However, since we were staying only 1 day I thought we’d go ahead with it. I’m glad we did because the hotel looks great with the modern update. I don’t think the construction was as bad as most people make it to be (at least when we were there). Of course, it is to be expected. I feel like they are doing their best to not make it an issue for the customers. I love the new modern exterior and interior. I’m excited to see what the rooms will look like after they are done. Overall, we had a great time. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The breakfast was great. Had good hot and savory options. We will stay again if we are in KC.

The parking lot was a mess from the heavy snow. We felt like they should have had the snow plowed so the guests do not get stuck in the parking lot. The rooms are nice.... but the bathroom lighting is really bad... not nearly bright enough. And the couch is hard as a rock. It needs to be a little softer to be comfortable.

The location was perfect. I was in town for a conference and this place was cheaper to stay at but close to where I needed to be. I loved the room. I had a King suite so lots of room. The staff were very kind. I'm not a big fan of hotel breakfasts because most of the time they are very carby. They did have all the basics including eggs & bacon, which I love but I like my bacon crispy so that's a me thing. Otherwise, there was a great variety for everyone. there were restaurants nearby and a Walmart if you needed anything. I would stay here again.

By far the best breakfast I've had at a hotel! The fitness center was clean and didn't smell funky like most hotels I've stayed in. The room was amazing! I didn't expect it to be so big, with a couch, office area, large TV, sleeping area, bathroom, vanity, AND closet! And no matter what side of the building you are staying on, you're going to get a good view. The west side faces Metcalf Ave and you can look out over the Overland Park area. The east side, where I was, faces a line of trees and the parking lot, BUT you can see the sunrise and get the beautiful early morning light. It's also within walking distance of food and coffee and there is a bus stop right down the street to get to downtown Overland Park.

Honestly, I wasn't thrilled about the comfort of the bed and linens. The pillows squished like mush, and the linens just felt....wrong. I didn't really get a good night's sleep. No cleanliness issues, but there are some spots on the walls and floor that need some love. Grout needing to be filled in between tiles, chips in the door frames, etc. Nothing major, but it does detract from the luster of everything else.

I loved the roominess of the room and it's layout! We asked to be near an elevator due to my mobility issues and we were near it. The breakfast was amazing. There was a large variety of food items and they were delicious. It was a peaceful, restful night.

There were workers there and we had to enter at the back of the motel. They were polite and helpful in negotiating their work area but it was a little difficult to negotiate.

The rooms are amazing I felt like I was at home. The place was spotless and clean and the housekeepers did an amazing job. The breakfast is great here. Quiet place to rest your head when you need to get away. Can't wait to come stay here again. Definitely will be back every time I come in town.

The hotel is centrally located with many eateries and shopping nearby. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok.. ends at 9am. I like that checkout time isn’t till noon, so that gives you plenty of time.

There’s destruction on the first floor and reception is currently set up in a small room which is also the dining room. We stayed Saturday night and left Sunday morning, so we didn’t hear any construction noise.

The breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was having remodeling construction so there was noise from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The elevators had dust in them due to workers using them to go to the sixth floor.

Seemed brand new. Modern, clean and bright. The room was exceptional. Actually more than it's a room. It was iike a mini apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Exceptional details for business use andr rest. Great amenities. Great breakfast included with a variety of choices for all tastes and food sensitivities.
