Ouray is an easily walkable town, but the historic Hotel Beaumont is well-situated along the Main Street, with incredible views of the valley and surrounding mountains from all directions and easy access to local shops and restaurants. Reserved parking available on-site, which is helpful. The building has been very nicely restored, including modern updates to the bathrooms / showers / tubs, while preserving a lot of the charm and character of Ouray's history as a mining town and Western outpost. The on-site tavern and coffee shop are both excellent (albeit NYC prices, but also high quality and worth the cost)

Largely due to the vintage of the building, the rooms are a bit dark (lightwise and also due to the color palette, which is part of the historic character of the design of the building) - I had to really draw back the shades to let in natural light and some brighter lamp lighting might be a nice to have. No full-length mirror in the room (which seemed to be a thing throughout my stay in SW Colorado), but that could easily be remedied, and done so in a manner that preserves the period character of the decor. Very little to complain about as this property was a very comfortable option (and I say that as a longtime visitor to Ouray who usually stays with family who live in town!)

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The property itself was like going back in time. The location was superb. The food and drink was terrific. The bartender actually made us Ramos Fizzes when I asked. Very tasty. I will try to go back and anybody who reads this should too.

I suggest putting safety rails/bars in the showers. This is much more of a suggestion rather than a complaint.

This is an amazing boutique hotel full of lovely authentic antiques, gorgeous staircase in the Lobby, wonderful bed, shower and amenities in a great- sized room. If you are going to Ouray, you won't want to miss staying here. You'll feel like you've gone back in time. Great parking spaces also give you great access to main Street. The management is great to work with, too!

The Beaumont is wonderful! It’s is beautifully restored to its original glory with high quality everything. The attention to detail in everything from the furnishing to the wallpaper is very apparent. The white subway tiled bathroom was immaculate! I’ve never seen a cleaner bathroom in a hotel. This place is special!

The room was great, it was spacious and clean. Shower worked great for an old hotel. Towels were nice quality and the staff was friendly. Enjoyed the massage

Bed could have been a little more comfortable. Front desk was great but housekeeping knocked on the door about seven minutes after 11 while we were packing. A 12 or 1 pm checkout would be nice

This place can’t be beat. The location is amazing and the property is one of a kind. It’s been meticulously restored while also incorporating modern comforts.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, but we still had a good nights sleep!

Starting with the most wonderful and friendly staff at this property. They were as delightful as the property itself. A charming vintage property with period furnishings. It was quiet, warm, cozy and very private. We never saw another guest and they had plenty of rooms occupied. Everything we needed was within walking distance, great food, drinks, shops and entertainment was just steps out the front door of this historic property. Beds are very comfy with lots of pillows. Bathrooms were large and well appointed with great HOT water. There is simply NOT a single flaw in the property or staff..

A beautiful old hotel restored wonderfully. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Nice bar and outdoor patio. Lovely. Prefect location. Hotel staff were warm and friendly.

A little expensive… but worth it for an indulgence.

This is a fabulous hotel. The renovation is beautifully done. We loved our stay here. It has a great location on the Main Street in Ouray. Our room was comfortable, spacious and very stylish. The hotel overall is a period piece, with fabulous history. It's a one off!

The reception is only attended though the afternoon. We had to request that our room be lightly serviced. There is no provision for breakfast or a restaurant on site.

The Hotel Beaumont was an exceptionally lovely place to stay and a magical step back in time..

A few ammonites were lacking such as bell hops to help with luggage but we managed ourselves without any problems
