Great base. Had a hire car. Secure parking underneath apartments. Regarding parking, once you know location of your apartment, you can park close to lift for your block. So easy once you figure out which door to use. Nice comfortable and clean apartments. Underfloor heating was on max on entry (was warm but figured out how to turn off and then just set thermostat for comfort) stayed out of season so wasn't too busy which we enjoyed. Kids loved play area also and used indoor pool at Hilton once we sampled the outdoor ones! Used the Rubi bar twice for drinks. Overall, we felt the apartments were comfortable and great value for what we paid. Would stay again. Can use shuttle at Hilton if did not have car (we have stayed at Hilton hotel before and used this last time)

Not sure what we did not like. We didn't try the food this time (had breakfast two years ago) so cannot comment on food this time.

Spacious, everything you needed for cooking, dishes, crockery etc. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Bed was really comfy. Cleaning staff very pleasant and did excellent job looking after our apartment.

Some staff not helpful or even acknowledged you. Never explained hotel facilities on arrival. Felt for a five star hotel was very poor, but if you went to main entrance to hotel you got the service. Don’t see why when entering into the apartments entrance standards drop and treated differently. Felt like a second class citizen! Our garden area was neglected where rest of pool areas at main areas kept lovely. Apartments don’t feel they get same attention. Why?

Very spacious, lots of facilities (including games room with ping pong table, big swimming pools, gym, (expensive) restaurants, shuttle bus to the marina with reserved sun beds for Hilton guests). The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. There was a good breakfast buffet with gluten free bread options/ muffins which were individually wrapped. Non- dairy milk and yoghurt options were also available.

The WiFi was flaky and unreliable. On our first night the aircon condensation flowed and leaked into our room forming a big puddle on the ground (although they came and cleaned it up quickly we got the impression it was a known issue from before). The restaurants although yummy, were very expensive and better options can be found outside. Location was ok, but would need a car to get around. Although the swimming pools were amazing, a member of staff told us we weren’t allowed to play with an inflatable beach ball even though many people were playing with big inflatables and jumping into the pool.

Lovely resort. The apartment was well furnished and spacious too. The staff at checkin were lovely too. I also loved the fact that uber works too and it was very cheap. My partner and I went in December so it was quiet but I can only imagine how busy it would be during the summer. The resort shares facilities with the Hilton Hotel. Yuri who works at the spa was very friendly too.

Great big spacious comfortable well equipped 4 bedroom corner suite. 4 balconies inc Hottub (not in service) Pools all great size and clean facilities. Staff very friendly.

No access to Hilton hotel with a buggy from As Cascatas.

It is quiet, very well located and a very nice suite for a long stay. We were searching for a potential long stay for upcoming winters. The bed was comfortable, there is a very well equipped kitchen with a washing machine. The suite was nicely laid out with doors separating rooms so that if one person was inclined to sleep in, they could do so undisturbed. Parking was free and readily available.

The living room furniture was rather tired, with the easy chair seemingly broken. The seat collapsed backwards when sat upon. The front desk staff had to check with an off-site supervisor about any requests. Thus it lacked that lovely hospitality vibe that we have experienced in other Portuguese hotels. But this property is a Hilton, so it is not surprising that it lacks the boutique hotel vibe.

Receptions were confusing on arrival (different one for different accommodation types) and far away from each other, but staff great and sorted shuttle bus for me to correct one with my heavy bags!! Thank you!

As Cascatas is part of the Vilamoura Hilton Hotel. It specialises in apartments. They are slightly dated but large very clean and serviced everyday. The towels are big and luxurious. They have dishwashers,microwaves plenty of seating and comfortable beds. The gardens are lush and well kept.

It is close to a number of golf courses but about an hours walk to the Marina. There is a shuttle bus however this is not in continuous service but spaced two hours apart in the morning a gap of 4 hours in the afternoon and then once per hour in the early evening. Uber is very efficient and relatively cheap.

Room was spacious and clean. Facilities on the campus were good. Pool area was clean and well maintained, plenty of dining options. Restaurant staff were friendly. Breakfast was superb.

Reception staff need more training on how to respond and help customers not just brush them off. Confusion over check in and check out times, this needs to be clarified. Restaurant food over priced.
