All the staff we encountered were so helpful and friendly. Our check in and check out went very smoothly. The front desk staff were super efficient and always willing to help. On our last morning the front desk went beyond in helping us with Sri Lankan E-Visa issues we were having. The doorman was always very polite and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. The meal options suited us perfectly for both breakfast and dinner. We enjoy savoury food more than sweet for breakfast. So others who like a big range of cereals, pancakes, waffles etc. would probably not enjoy it as much. There was fresh fruit and juices, muesli, french toast and other breads, rolls and limited pastries. A variety of some Indian and Western foods at both meals. The ala carte menu for lunch/dinner was limited but the buffet that was offered, more than made up for that. The chef and kitchen staff prepared some amazing meals! Our reservation was made through Booking.com. We had an oceanview room on the 9th floor that was very large. Our room rate had a daily happy hour and breakfast included. It was pleasantly decorated, clean and tidy. The bathroom was an average size, with a shower tub combo. The shower had great water pressure and temperature. The hotel location for us was perfect. Close to all sites we wanted to see. About an hour drive from Mumbai Intl. airport. Taxi and tour company pickups knew the hotel, so it was easy to organize transportation. There was a really handy ATM machine just down the street from the hotel. We felt safe walking in the immediate area around the hotel. Apparently, there are nice restaurants nearby, but we only had 2 nights and just ate at the hotel restaurant (Tamarind). We would definitely recommend this location and Hotel. Thank you to all who made our first visit to Mumbai a very memorable experience.

I had a room on the top floor, so I had a truly amazing view. They do serve great breakfasts. Enjoyed also the swimming pool.

Staff at the reception were little welcoming, this could be improved - being more friendly with the customers, at least providing minimum details explaining the facilities at the check in (where to find gym, swimming pool, breakfast timing, etc) and helping with suggestions on tourism related topics. On the contrary other staff of the hotel were wonderful & helpful.

The location was great and the staff were very good to deal with, they were very accommodating and friendly.

Sadly there were a few glitches such as a bath drainage was blocked, the hair dryer wasn’t working , BUT the staff tended to these issues and resolved them after we brought it to their attention, and the room service team topped up the shampoo, conditioner and body wash after we brought it to their attention that it was completely empty, and their air conditioning system is a bit outdated and needs upgrading for sure.

I like that unlike some properties around the world who claim on booking.com to have facilities for disabled visitors Hotel Fariyas does have a ramp from street to foyer and then a lift to the upper floors. Unfortunately the hotel only has one fully accessible room and that had been booked before I requested it. I asked for a plastic chair to sit on in the shower and the hotel provided me with a proper sturdy hospital issue shower chair. The friendly and professional doorman Balwinder was a great help when I needed to use the ramp which was too steep for me to use unaided. The other doorman Sundeep was also a help, but Balwinder was most often on duty when I went out or returned.

I was disappointed that I could not access the pool area due to too many steps to reach it from inside the hotel. As previously mentioned it is disappointing that the only accessible room was taken. It would be great if the hotel converted more rooms to be fully accessible for people with mobility issues.

Our arrival transfer reserved with Booking.com Rides was a complete mess. Although we ordered transport for 7 plus luggage, the vehicle could accommodate only 4 plus luggage. Arguments over the phone with the hotel ensued and over an hour was spent in the heat before an extra vehicle could be secured.

The hotel is extremely good and offers value for money. The location is excellent and the property maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The breakfast arrangement on Sunday was chaotic. We had to wait for a table and it was a long wait for any order to be served.

The staff were so friendly and helpful with all our requests. The stay was pleasant and within a great location for shopping. Breakfast had a variety of buffet selections and the room had all the amenities kits we could need. The front desk staff, door men and Breakfast staff were always offering assistance and smiling which made our stay memorable.

i am only able to consume a small number of options due to faith restrictions however it was easy to accommodate me with fresh fruit and juice options.
