Being it a converted Abbey, each room has been decorated with different styles. If visiting for the first time, review the floor plan and room images so you may select an appealing style that suits you. Our original booking had a dedicated but separate bathroom. The room style was great (four-poster bed, access to the large verandah etc) but we were there the night before a long weekend so there were a few rooms available and David (and Jess are the new owners) offered us a couple of alternatives. We chose room 10 - a character-filled room with an ensuite and small Juliet balcony. Just a single night but we will be using The Abbey as a stopping point on future Sydney-Brisbane/Sunshine Beach trips. Note the attached photo was not our room but room 7 (often booked by the wedding couple).

Not getting the chance to taste their local honey with breakfast, though it is available to purchase.

The Abbey at Warwick is an incredible place to stay! The building itself is stunning, rich with history and beautifully maintained, making you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious, adding to the overall charm of the stay. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable getaway, The Abbey is a must-visit. I would definitely stay again!

Location is excellent and it’s easy to have a pleasant walk down to the centre of town from the Abbey. First morning we both had the light breakfast which was amply for us though decent coffee would have been much appreciated. Perhaps having a coffee machine for guests would be a better option. Second morning my husband had a hooded brekkie which he really enjoyed.

As mentioned above, better coffee especially as guests from Brisbane would be expecting a good strong coffee first thing in the morning

Great staff and it was lovely to get a room upgrade. The Abbey is a wonderful, historical building in a great location. We enjoyed looking around the grounds, seeing the chickens and the bee hives.

The room we were in needed a bit of renovating e.g. paint coming off the wall, blinds with holes in them.

This is a very unique experience of staying in a Catholic Abbey, where nuns from a previous era lived. Beautifully restored and modernised. There was the opportunity to explore the Abbey, see other rooms, the dining room, fireplace and wander the extensive grounds.

Our car was parked in an open space, no cover offered. This area can be hit with hale storms at this time of the year.

Wonderful historic building full of character and charm. It was a cold night so the electric blanket came in handy. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

We had a separate bathroom, which was fine as we had complimentary bath robes for going back and forth, but would have liked a lock on the bathroom door

Staying here felt like I was teleported back in time. There are so many details and areas to explore with such rich history behind everything. The room itself tied everything in together so well, making it a sound sleep for the next day of exploring Warwick. I will be seeing this place again really soon!

The history and grounds was amazing ! The man was fantastic and allowed us to look around and read all the history info tags late into the night as we arrived late. We upgraded our room to an ensuite in our room. Service was great - was so quiet. Love love loved the history !

Bathrooms were advertised as being a private bathroom on booking.com. The bathrooms were private, but there was no mention of having to walk down the hall past other rooms to get to your bathroom. I felt this was a little deceptive of booking.com.

We are a couple from Brisbane and stayed here overnight. What a beautiful place to stay, the attention to detail was second to none. Beddings & decorations are stunning, luxurious and comfortable!! Highly recommended, will definitely return !! Tq Jess, David & the staffs ♥️♥️♥️

What a lovely trip back in time. I was only able to explore a little but would love to know more on the history on this magnificent boutique. I loved the character of the building - it felt like every part of the building had a story to it. Lovely host Sonia helped us get settled in.

The bed was a little uncomfortable.
