Everything was of a high standard and staff were exceptional. Rooms were quiet and well maintained by the happy and friendly cleaning staff. The motel was very convenient to town and restaurants, cafes etc. Only small issues were: the bed was a tad too soft for my preference and the walkway lighting was so bright it lit up the room at night even with blockout curtains. Curtains did not go all the way to the ceiling.. Maybe outside lighting could be motion detection lighting, so only comes on at night when needed.

Our room was modern and I'd say recently renovated. I liked the black, white & grey colour scheme. Our bed was comfortable, room was dark when curtains were drawn and room was good size. Bathroom & shower recess were clean with enough space. We appreciated parking our hire car undercover - with Stanthorpe's storms & hail few days later! Location of motel was close to our dinner restaurant "Anna's" (delicious meal) we would've walked there but for light rain. We liked being given option of first floor room over ground level. Air con worked well.

The manger(??) we met at reception was very friendly and upon our response to his question that we were eating "in" he offered us crockery and cutlery to use and said if we needed anything else just let him know. The unit was roomier than we were expecting and it was great to have a table and chairs that we could eat at and watch tv from. It was wonderful to have electric blankets to warm our beds and the beds were FANTASTIC! We have stayed at hundreds of places over the years and this was the first bed in 30+ years (and only 1 of 2) that I didn't wake with a stiff and very painful back and neck where I had to have a hot shower to be able to move. And even though it's on the main road we didn't hear any traffic noise nor any from the other units. Definately be very happy to come back here again and to recommend to anyone!

If I had to say anything it's just that there aren't enough under cover parks, but we were ok because we got one so not complaining.

The motel was conveniently located in the centre of town, allowing us to walk to local cafes and shops. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet, and the curtains were effective at darkening the room and providing privacy. The bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated, water pressure and temperature were good.

Some fixtures and fittings were quite worn and/or damaged. The pelmet light at the head of the bed made TV viewing quite uncomfortable. Pillows were a bit flat, so we slept with two each.

The whole place, especially the room, was very clean and facilities were great. Love that each bed had an electric blanket to keep you warm and cozy. Staff were very welcoming and trustworthy. My child accidentally left a phone after check out and I was contacted immediately by staff (good thing we were still in town so was able to go back). Will definitely consider Apple & Grape Motel next time we’re staying in Stanthorpe.

We were so pleasantly surprised with this motel! It was fabulous! It was a lovely modern and clean motel which had everything we needed. It was easy to find with parking on site. It is located on the main street so within walking distance to so many restaurants and cafes. It was such a beautiful little spot with friendly owners/managers. Highly recommend!

We found the beds too soft for us and a bit too much outside light penetrating, but other than that, perfect!

Very stylish. Have to say over the last 6 year of me staying in places the Apple and Grape has the most comfiest bed slept like a baby. Style so well I actually took photos as I'd like to style my place the same. Very close to amazing scenery walking within 150m and probably 200m to all the shops at the CBD.

He Only thing I can pick on is the shower water goes on the floor on the out side from under the shower door.

We have used Booking.com frequently in Australia and overseas for over 20 years. This is the first time in our travels that we had to pay 8 days out from arriving to meet up there with friends after 50 years. Usually we have the opportunity to change or cancel 24 hours before arrival. Also did not receive Genius points 10% discount as displayed on our booking with Booking.com. Actually never have received it. . Our problem is with Booking.com. Will not use them again. HOWEVER Apple and Grape Motel were great.

The property is well-situated and close to everything in town... shops, restaurants etc. Everything was spotlessly clean, nicely presented and comfortable. A lovely example of a country Queensland motel. The owners very graciously and kindly upgraded our room to honour our first wedding anniversary. This was an unexpected surprise but totally appreicated. Thank you so much to the lovely owners for doing this for us

Nothing to dislike - a lovely, comfortable stay in a beautiful motel.

Room was pleasant with nice decor, bed was comfortable, good cupboard space , refrigerator, toaster, biscuits, plenty of tea, coffee and milk - table and chairs inside and on balcony. Location was walking distance to town centre as well as a walks along the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms serviced daily

Walls were paper thin being able to hear other patrons and their conversations, early leavers in their cars
