We were there July 2 - July 6. Everything were wonderful, the social hour on Wednesday, food and drinks. Everyday at 3p free fresh made delicious cookies, breakfast was great lots of selections. Free water bottles offer at the front desk every morning. The staff were very nice. They take pride in their work. It shows. Bonus: very convenient location, restaurants and quick grab and go store are a few feet away by foot.

Nothing we did not like. Only a few things need upgrade. The shower head in room 408 needs to be replaced. It doesn't work right unless you don't mind using it as handheld shower head kind. The recumbent bike wasn't working in the fitness center. My husband tried the pool. The water was too cold.

The people were outstanding in the hotel. We were there on thanksgiving until the Saturday. When we arrived everything was decorated for thanksgiving. Black Friday we went shopping early and came back to the whole main level decked out for Christmas. All people were great but there was a gentleman that checked us in that was exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast buffet was beyond anything I have seen at a hotel. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The first day we woke up at six and everything was set up and ready to go. They even had a huge bowl of fresh fruit cut up, parfaits and anything else you could want.

Great location with numerous bars and restaurants sharing the same parking lot. Wonderful Hot breakfast with all sorts of assorted eggs, bacon, sausage, roasted potatoes, fruits, pastries, cereals, yogurts, waffles, bagels , toast, cheeses, juices. Ten minute walk to SUNY Amherst campus for Alumni weekend. plenty of additional shopping, food choices in the area. Staff really friendly not just at check in but throughout stay. and Free cookies every day in the afternoons. Outdoor patio firepits and furniture are comfortable place to congregate and relax

some of the furniture in the suite (Couch, armchairs, ottomans) were worn and could use updating.

Location was the best. Walking distance to several restaurants, although we didn't need to use them, it was still an appreciated feature and I could totally see it being a lifesaver in another travel. The food preparation was on point and very much appreciated. From the free breakfast to the social evening spread, to the free cookies at front desk. Although being regular hotel breakfast selections, I could tell the food was thoughtfully prepared and we never felt like anything was missing (condiments, napkins etc). The patio area just outside the kitchen was totally functional and nicely decorated. Our little one enjoyed outdoor time there safely.

The mattress was a little bit softer than I liked. There was also a moldy smell to the bed sheets. One of the towels did have a hair in it. I didn't think it was the hotel's fault as it was quite small, but still it made me feel the cleanliness could be up a level.

Visited the area (we lived in Buffalo previously), with my children to catch up with friends. This hotel was perfect. Bright, clean, spacious with great staff. Decent variety for breakfast, and the M-W Social Hour was great. Very flavorful food and nice variety. Wonderful Bites and Sips. We utilized the regular bed and sofa bed- both were comfy. Spacious and clean bathroom. Love the seating area. Also utilized the business center to print a much needed travel document. Also washed clothes. Absolutely love Staybridges! The staff are wonderful; friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are light, with everything you would need. The Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday supper nights are delicious and bring the residents and quests to.

The bathrooms could do with an update. Very dated with showers tricky to use without getting the whole bathroom wet. The show head needs to be more modern

for breakfast there was a nice variety but didnt change to often - it would have been nice to sausage links and sausage gravy and biscuits - the front desk staff was exceptional addressed all our concerns and resolved them immediatly.

the cleaning staff spoke no english and if you wanted something extra like toilet paper or kleenex you had to point at it or ask at the front desk.

The hotel was in a perfect location. They also offered a happy hour in the lobby, which was a nice surprise. Lots of food options in the area for dinner. The room was great for three people two bedroom two bathroom. Staff friendly at check in and check out and especially at happy hour.

The pool had a lot of chlorine so we could not use it as the fumes were way too strong to enter the pool area, we have a pool so we are quite sensitive to the chemicals as we don't use much. Ottoman in the room needs to be replaced.

Beautiful facility, large, comfortable, updated rooms. Great location within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

They need better signage directing people to additional hotel parking on the side and rear. The front of the hotel has some parking and shares space with shops. Hotel guests were parking in the general lot and then had to move their cars when informed at the front desk that their cars could be subject to towing if left there overnight.

The check in was smooth. The facilities were clean. The breakfast bar was fantastic. Every day fresh food. The staff working the breakfast area wer friendly and kind. Helped us when we ran out of items. The associates at the front desk were magnificent and very helpful. Location within the small shopping and dining center near UB and the Maple 8 Cinemas.

The pool was not open until the last 2 days that we were in the hotel. We were offered to go to one close by as a help. The laundry facilties were not working correctly. The washers were fine, but the dryers were not working - only one worked well enough to dry clothes. I was told only one that worked was number 3 but no signs were up to inform guests that the dryers were not working properly. I was assured that the repairman would come to fix them.
