Clean, spacious, cheery. Great location near the Empire Canalway trail! Towels and bedding ample, soft, and clean but not bleachy. Room was well laid-out. Coffee was average but always available. Breakfast was good - I had oatmeal w cranberries and almonds and cinnamon w a hard boiled egg. Partner had scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, biscuit & gravy. They honored our request for ground floor, and an extra “blanket” that was thin but did the trick. Everyone was polite and helpful.

Shower water was plenty hot but came out as a very gentle rain. Drain still did not keep up. But the water quality was surprisingly good. The AC unit of course was very loud. Keep it on low to avoid the power surge noise all night. A pack of 6 oreos from the “market” cost $3.50. The wine opener from same market cost $2.50 and broke promptly at first use, but the desk person gave us a replacement.

The hotel has very good beds,everything was working and breakfast was very good. The Lady who prepared the breakfast did a great job and was very friendly.

The Maids were playing with their phones and chatting on the hallway instead of cleaning the rooms. I mention this because there was a lot of dust in the room and the bathroom was not clean. The silicone in the shower has to be replaced and please take care of the mould in the shower. The young lady at the front desk refused to print a statement for me( telling me booking.com would give me one) . After asking for her manager and telling her that I travel now for more than 10 years with booking.com and got always a receipt.

The staff was very helpful , pleasant and respectful. The breakfast was very good we loved the pancake machine and the servers at breakfast were always smiling and greeted us daily they really made our day

We had a problem with Booking.com they did not address my request after multiple time calling Booking.com the staff at Holiday Inn Express Tonawanda solved my problem very quickly

Very noisy after 9 p.m. Adults and children from regional sports programs got out of hand. And this appears to be a regular problem. It happened the first night of one stay, and again the night of a second time we were there a few days later.

When my husband & I checked in, there was a woman & 2 men who were absolutely wonderful! They were professional & kind. We loved our room & it was so clean!

At 6AM when my husband came down for coffee, it was not ready & the younger male employee was sleeping at the table. He had to come back & when he did, the coffee was cold & gross. Then upon check out, the same male employee was cold & there was a problem apparently with our card & then he did apologize saying it was his fault. Wasn't pleasant with check out but because of check in & our room, we would try once again to stay.

The staff was fantastic. Greeting in and out. If you needed anything they got it. Breakfast was a great variety and the lady maintaining it came in on day off had a nice smile very welcoming. Gave us good suggestions on food in area. Jay and his team are awesome!!

No hot tub

everything the room, bathroom, beds, the staff. We just had a problem two days, it was a monday and tuesday, breakfast place was not fully stocked due to busy weekend and because only on tuesdays the truck with the stock goes to the hotel. Nevertheless Mark and Patt were very helpful.

Friendly staff, well maintained facility, nice pool and gym room, plenty of parking.

Housekeeping forgot to refill body wash, hand wash, and facial tissue dispensers. Staff quickly remedied when I brought it to their attention.

Big rooms, big bathroom. Comfortable stay. Lovely breakfast. Big lounge, reception and dining area.

Had some minor issue with the payment, which the manager resolved though. Staff at the reception supported well in explaining the issue.
