All the chalets are secluded and surrounded by beautiful trees with possums and owls. You feel really secluded, but you’re like 10 min from dunsborough and a lot of family activities, caves, natural wonders and wineries etc. The insides of the building were clean and comfy with a nice little kitchen and enough cookware/plates/glasses etc and laundry facilities. The rooms are quite modern and clean and comfortable. I just loved sitting on the porch and staring at the trees.
The chalet could probably have better heating for winter (I think the bathroom was the worst) and there are only fans for summer. But there is a pool (we were there in winter so didn’t use it). The dirt roads have a few deep potholes, but I got used to avoiding them.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bugs setting and the large verandas give such a lovely feel. It was very hot and the over head fans worked really well. It’s a great location close to Dunsborough for the markets, shops and coffee shops. Easy access to beaches, we went to Meelup and Yallingup. We did a Bush Tucker Tour to wineries and breweries which was a great day out. There is a farm stall with an honour box on the way into the resort with the best local honey. We bought 2 jars. It was nice to have some coffee, tea, salt, pepper and olive oil. The amenities in the bathroom were a nice treat.
The fans need a clean and a strainer would be handy in the kitchen.

We loved our time at the Yallingup Forest resort. The cabins were very clean and tidy and included everything you could need. The resort is pleasant to walk around with lots of wildlife roaming around the forest. The pool, BBQs and Tennis courts were a fab addition. They even provide tennis racquets and balls. The resort is in an excellent location with Yallingup beach very close and Dunsborough town only 10 minutes away with lots of shops and restaurants to get everything you need. We were able to travel to Busselton and Margret river in 30 minutes.

Beautiful location, very private and tranquil. We were lucky to not have anyone in the second part of the chalet so we kind of had the place to our selves. The place has everything you need, its not super fancy but its clean and comfortable and you can really relax. Its very homely. We were also very lucky to have a bathtub so that was perfect for me! The terrace is an awesome place to have a morning coffee and a late night glass of wine. I would def recommend this place to everyone and would stay again.
The coffee pot provided was a bit annoying and i spilled coffee a few times but that is the only thing i have as a complaint and thats pretty minor.

Yallingup Forest Resort is a long time favourite of ours, we have been coming for an annual trip since my children were toddlers. This year's cabin was our favourite we stayed in! It's great value for money, close to both Yallingup and Dunsborough, and just such a relaxing setting in the forest. We love the forest animals the most! We will be back next year!
My boys will swim year around and were so disappointed that the pool was closed for winter!

The location was great, both in the forest but also re local towns; the cabins well equipped. Even though there are two separate dwellings in the cabin, we couldn’t hear anyone from the other half.
The only negative is that we were there in very hot weather and the ceiling fans were ineffective. Air con would have made all the difference but I understand that it would not be needed much in Yallingup - just unfortunate that our stay coincided with a heat wave.

Great location - Caves Road will all the wineries /breweries one road away with Dunsborough and Busselton in close proximity. The accommodation was cosy surrounded by Forrest at night with 2 heater's making it snug for the kids. Plenty of TV options whilst it was raining (netflex/disney +) . We had a couple of minor issues and Carmen in reception made the effort at 7pm to come to the accommodation to sort out. Will be back again.
Nothing to fault.

November 2024
It was very clean and the kitchen has every utensil and cookware needed for a very comfortable stay. Our visit was in November where days are hot and nights cold. There is heating and fans in the rooms and extra blankets so different preferences of each and every guest were met.
We discovered late at night that we only had one roll of toilet paper to share among six people, with no spares provided. At the time, we didn’t feel it was significant an issue enough to warrant calling the after-hours number.

Liked everything! The cabin was well-appointed, the bed was perfect and the bedding was top quality. The kitchen contained everything we could have needed. The deck added greatly to the feeling of really being and viewing a special location. Magpies visited and sung for us. The cost was well-under what I expected and we will go back because our stay was so relaxing and we felt a million miles away from the world.
It was tricky getting from the car to the verandah because of the wet weather creating mud. I really didn't want to trek mud inside.

Very calm relaxing environment. Great spacious cabins. Fast wifi so could watch movies on chromecast. Fantastic Woodfired pizza on Friday nights. Nice little walking trail down to the park.
2nd bedroom needed a heater for kids. We really wanted to come back during summer school holidays but no aircon. Nothing else to not like, we had a fantastic holiday.
