Beautiful peaceful surroundings!!! Nice and cold it lightly snowed when we stayed in September..

Lounge was not comfortable, Wi-Fi was non existent ! The A/C unit is in the hallway for some strange reason so its useless. you need A/C properly ducted through out or least a split in each room and a large one in the living area not the hallway..

Loved our accommodation. Staff even left us a congrats on your engagement note.

Breakfast. Pd the extra to add breakfast and when we asked for bacon we were told it was extra!? I looked at booking.com and it just says breakfast included and nothing at all about it only being continental. I let the property know and they tried saying it’s in the small print but we have looked and all we can see on booking.com is breakfast included. This is very deceptive and had I known it was only continental I wouldn’t have bothered with the extra. Customers need to be told upfront as can’t see it anywhere on booking.com booking.

The view from our Villa was stunning - across the golf course to beautiful snow capped mountains. A continental breakfast was provided which was more than enough to start the day. The dinner we had at the Resort was very good, although the service was slow that evening. But our Villa was fantastic - plenty of room, very well fitted out, excellent beds and furnishings, a lovely gas fireplace for warmth and ambience. A shuttle bus up to the Lodge in the afternoon/evening if you didn't feel like the walk. All in all, a great stay, and we look forward to returning for a longer stay. The various activities offered through NewZEngland were a lot of fun and Neil was great to deal with. A truly top notch stay at a great resort.

There was nothing we didn't like at this Resort.

We liked the calm view. We enjoyed the tranquil setting. It was relaxing and easy distance to places to explore. We are not golfers, but you don't need to be. There is a lot to do within driving distance.We stayed 12 nights and ate in the Café for breakfast, restaurant at night every day. The staff are their major assets. They were fantastic! I'm celiac, being able to enjoy meals out is something special. The meals were amazing! We would both highly recommend this complex.

We stayed 12 nights. I had to prompt housekeeping for towels each time they needed changing and supplies renewed. At no time did they pop in to check and renew anything. The body wash bottle was empty on arrival. I asked for an update on the third day. Had we used the mini bar, I would have had to request a resupply. They didn't come in to check. We ended up purchasing supplies ourselves like teabags. Although this is a slight glitch, we would still highly recommend this complex. It gave us the relaxing break we needed. The staff were amazing! So friendly and accommodating.

Amazing location and villa with exceptionally lovely, comfortable - even luxurious facilities with breathtaking views from balcony. It was quiet and peaceful with fabulous, friendly, accommodating reception staff and quite sensational restaurant food. The meal we had was so memorable - we are still talking about the seafood chowder, the tomato soup, the stacked potatoes and tender slow cooked meat - we had to congratulate the chef. A lovely family memory talked about many times since our stay.

My mum is 83 so it was a bit challenging to walk our suitcases from the underneath carpark up the steps but we managed ok.

The breakfast wasn’t great, very small selection and have to pay extra for ‘hot food’, yoghurt was not kept cold and have to pay extra for coffee. Our room hadnso window covering by the front door, so people in villas behind us could see into our room, there was no rubbish bin in the kitchen, no robes (only slippers), kitchen utensils etc were very basic even though there’s a full kitchen set up - we only wanted to make a cheese board. There was also hair in the bathtub.

Location, room capacity, very comfortable beds, great water pressure in shower and recently updated furniture in living room (please update tired throw blankets - in much need of replacing)

Only basic sky channels ( compared to privately let rooms), poor internet, no ability to stream Netflix. Noisy old fridge and air-conditioning unit. Enjoyed tennis but rackets and tennis balls need upgrading ++, great Golf hitting range but too expensive for family to play a round of golf.

Stunning view of Mount Hutt from our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment overlooking the golf course. Great facilities that were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Very peaceful summer location in their off peak season. Restaurant, bar and cafe gave you plenty of options. The food was delicious!

Parking was undercover but you had to go out and around the back and up the stairs to get inside. Ok on a sunny day but we arrived in heavy rain and wind so not much fun.

Loved everything about the property. The villa we were in had great views and was fully equipped with all amenities, including a full-size kitchen. All facilities on the property were accessible; and of course we made use of the gym while there. Small but with a few machines and light to heavy dumbbells. Everything you need really.

The restaurant couldn't seem to get the steak right. I asked for medium rare, it came out rare. Had it sent back and then it came back medium. Did expect better for NZ$52 (if I recall), but everything else was great. Can't hold the steak against the accomodation though!

We loved the whole experience! The villa was spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. The view was spectacular and made the whole stay so special. We enjoyed cooking our own dinner in the well equipped kitchen and eating at the dining table, looking out at the view. The spa bath and the luxurious bed with fabulous sheets topped off a relaxing experience. The continental breakfast at the Clubhouse was great, too, with another lovely space and a beautiful vista to enjoy.

We weren't worried by it, but some people may find the steps between the covered parking area and the villa a bit difficult to navigate with luggage. However, some villas may be more accessible.
