Staying at La Perla is a wonderful trip back into the 1960's, when the hotel was built. Much of the interior and decoration remain unchanged. Very kind welcome at arrival and friendly service at breakfast. Wonderfully clean oceanfront lounging and easy acces to pristine waters. No restaurant, but within a 10 minute walk excellent dining at Byblos.

The small sand beach west of the hotel shown on photos is not operating and strewn with trash. No problem, the acces to the Mediterranean via a secured rocky ledge and ladder is easy.

The breakfast area included a nice view of the sea, breads, cheeses, meats, coffee machine, water, eggs were only hard boiled, some vegetables, cereal, but nothing was cooked and hot food was not available.

You have to pay 4,00 Euros if you want a beach towel for the swimming pool. The lounge chairs and umbrellas were free. The water in the swimming pool is salty sea water, not fresh water.

This was the perfect spot for our family to relax for a weekend. It’s rustic, but beautiful. The staff were all lovely and kind. The pool overlooks the sea and there’s a little beach where you can swim in the sea under the watchful eye of a lifeguard. We spent 2 days outside in the pool and sea, snorkeling and swimming. Bar and food close early here, so plan for that.

Those looking for a “Four Seasons” type resort will be disappointed. This has a Euro feel that we liked, but that fancier people might not enjoy.

Breakfast could have been better. Lots of sweets but not enough other choices. Breads were so so. Needs to have a good paint job where you put the lounge chairs.

The location, away from the bustle of town. The sea breaking on the rocks beneath our window. Staff were exceptional, from reception to dining to cleaning staff - all smiling, helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic, lots of space, comfortable bed, nice linens. The breakfast is AMAZING, a fabulous spread of sweet and savoury, including home made cakes. Great attention to detail and serving platters were replenished before they were even half empty. Good quality coffee machine. Fabulous 360 degree view of the sea. We will be back.

We loved the pool and the access to the beach, also having the chance to park in the shade was very convenient.

It was clean and tidy, maybe the breakfast could be a litte more varied.

The location is amazing!!! The views spectacular!!! Breakfast wonderful!! Staff extraordinary! Walk down the street to great casual restaurants right on the water!

The staff is very accommodating and nice.

The location is a bit far from the center and I did not have transportation and in this heat it was almost unbearable. There was no where near to get a snack after 7:00 pm.

The position of this hotel is beautiful. Lovely pool and access to the sea. Staff charming and helpful.

Nowhere to sit in the evening. Pool area closes at 7pm and the lounge bar not open.
