The hotel is centrally located and close to the railway station. The hotel staff were amicable and helpful. I was greeted every morning and offered my coffee of choice to have with the free continental breakfast. The food was perfect and included pastries, cereals, bread, fruit, deli meats, etc. The hotel is very well maintained and I had a nice balcony. The room was a little small and desk not very deep for my laptop, but with AC it was perfect for a short getaway. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room and desk were a bit smaller than I am used to, but this is a minor complaint compared to all the benefits of staying here.

We were extremely happy staying at Hotel Posta. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the hotel had a really nice atmosphere as a result. Our room was a decent size and comfortable. I found the retro style charming. It’s close to the train station and right in the centre of Ventimiglia. For the price, the breakfast was wonderful and very welcome, I particularly liked the pot of coffee and warm milk! What a lovely hotel. I would definitely choose it again.

Great location, really close to the beach and to train station and (what is important when you travel with child) to the play ground! Plus close to the carefour market and very nice pizzeria 😋 Room was very clean. Stuff was helpfull and good to us. As we left early to Milan they gave us some pastry to go.

Windows' shutter was closed and we didn't have access to balcony 🤷‍♀️

The location, around 5 minutes from the railway station is excellent. Our room was fine, with a view of the street below. Breakfast was ok, nothing exceptional, but satisfactory. We had an early train to catch on our second morning, entailing us leaving the hotel around 0650, but we still had time for a quick breakfast. The night porter(if that is the correct term) was very friendly and we had a joke each night about how many steps I had achieved each day.

The two reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and varied for Italian standards and this included gluten free products on request. Everything functioned in the room as it should. The hotel is ideal for people passing through from Italy to France.

Ventimiglia itself was not a particularly nice place. Heavy traffic and noisy. There were many suspicious looking people hanging around the railway station and not a police officer in sight. Lots of people with dogs in town and not all of them acting responsible for cleaning up the excrement. But this is a serious problem in many Mediterranean countries.

Location is very central, close to the beach as well.Staff is attentive and speak pretty good English.Room was specious and clean.Bed was comfortable as well. l

Due to the central location of the hotel, access by car is rather stressful, no car space to offload our luggage.Even paid parking is scarce. Town is very dirty and depressing.

We booked this hotel at very short notice due to a train strike in Italy forced us to stay in Ventimiglia for the night. The hotel room was a good size with a lovely balcony overlooking a street with very good air conditioning. The hotel has a small bar which is very reasonably priced and is in a great location.

The breakfast choice could be better.

A family run hotel… best hotel in Italy we have stayed in Yes 3 star hotel but 5 star service which is what makes a great stay ! Best breakfast ever , made with love ! All staff so friendly Stayed 6 nights , home away from home Met so many interesting travellers over breakfast We had a back room with a balcony( not street facing ) and our lovely lady gave us a clothes line to hang our washing Thank you

It was perfect

Breakfast was good with meats as well a yogurts & Pastries. The staff were wonderful! In particular, the gentleman on the front desk (who also served breakfast) went above & beyond.

Our only negative in Ventamiglia was that my friends mobile phone was stolen between the trai. & the terminal. That dampened our visit &we spent the evening making calls to mobile providers & insurance. This was no reflection on the hotel.

This was my third visit to this hotel. Easy walking distance from the railway station and Ventimiglia is a nice town with good range of restaurants. Perfect commuting location for Monaco and Nice. The hotel itself has a little roadside seating area, ideal for a cool drink.
