So quiet you could only hear birds all day. Grounds were impeccable and the beach access was easy. The beach was deserted and huge. The reception and restaurant staff were very thorough and thoughtful.

The pool villas could be more private. staff were constantly coming and going through the garden so it didn’t feel as private as we hoped. The food was good for a resort and the attempts at world cuisines were sometimes successful. However, the prices of food was steep for the quality and very steep for Thailand. We would have preferred them to offer traditional Thai foods cooked well at a slightly lower price point.

I can't fault this place in terms of standard of accommodation and attention to detail. It isn't cheap when comparing to other places in Thailand but for us it was worth every penny and wished we had booked for longer. The location was amazing right on the beach with views looking out to sea. We had a 2 bed villa with private pool. All rooms were very big and well maintained. Food was great with specials every night. Koh Jum is a quite sleepy island so don't expect lots of partying. However, there is a bar at the hotel which makes some wonderful cocktails and there is a nice chilled atmosphere - a great way to watch the sunset. There is also some local bars within walking distance. The best way to get around and see the island is to hire a moped (around £5 per day from the hotel) - the roads are very quiet so great for any novice to get started. They will help you with any travel arrangements/trips etc

The villa was absolutely stunning, the doors opening up and the foliage around you, listening to the roar of the sea and having your own pool to dip in and out with was fantastic. The outdoor shower was fun and an experience - I don't think I've ever bird watched while showering before! The pressure was also good and temperature consistent. Anyone who is scared of spiders - I didn't see a single one in Thailand, I was slightly nervous when booking various places that I might come across them. There are some bugs which are to be expected given the jungle feel to Koh Jum Beach Villas (and Thailand in general) - but these are infrequent. Also, the staff come to clean everyday, and do a turn down service in the evening. They keep everything spotless, and it is great that this is achieved in such a sustainable, eco friendly way. There are geckos which we loved (these also keep bugs away), and a lovely staff member pointed out a monitor lizard to us by a pond by the bar. It's so refreshing to feel so amongst nature here, yet everything is done to a high standard. All staff were friendly and approachable, we were greeted by the owner as well on arrival who was friendly and helpful. Being able to rent a moped to explore the island was one of the highlights of our trip. The beach is beautiful, long and large, with lots of little crabs scattering about. One of the best things for us (we were on honeymoon) was how quiet and tranquil it was. We barely saw another soul on the beach. Our stay was during May so was mixed weather but still found plenty to do and enjoy on Koh Jum - and was quieter than peak season. We had 2 Thai massages when we were staying which were amazing. Mini bar reasonably priced - the wine is worth checking the price of though as the owner has an appreciation for good wine (which isn't always cheap).

Koh Jum Beach Villas is an incredible resort on an amazing, small and unspoiled Island. The Villas are incredible. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with pool and it was extremely luxurious. The attention to detail and staff service is incredible. The restaurant provides exceptional food and great value. If you are looking for a villa / resort at the high end of service then look no further. The island itself is small, peaceful and beautiful. We still found loads to do via day trips organised by the resort (all extremely good value and really professionally organised), exploring the island on bikes and scooters or going to try out various small (and amazing) local cafes and restaurants. We had a holiday of a lifetime and can't thank the team enough for making our stay so memorable.

Everything - from the reception entrance to the pathway and gardens into the amazing villas. The staff are incredibly attentive and approachable - nothing is too much of a problem. The manager - Mark - so attentive and informative - great host! Too many to name in total but Eak, Odd, Can and Poom where the best. The restaurant and bar served superb food - in outstanding surroundings. The quality of the furnishings and property were top notch. I have to say that Koh Jum Beach Villas delivered exceptional stay - more than could have been expected.

The food in the local villages nearby is highly recommended

The 4 bedroom villa was well suited to our family needs. The staff were fabulous. The cocktail bar staff were super friendly. Easy to get around the island. Activities were good. Had a great day trip on a boat to Hong Island (Od, the guide, was superb). Enjoyed early morning fishing.

Not much variety in the breakfast.

This boutique resort has a very relaxed feel while at the same time the staff is very attentive and provides great service. The villas are beautifully designed and surrounded by a lush garden along the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. Also great that the hotell has an eco friendly approach.

The beach is high tide till 3pm. So you can't access the beach most of the day. Very quiet Island with very little to do must leave by boat to access other activities.
