The room was lovely and with the personal bungalow below the room it had great value for money and one got a lot of space. The pool was under construction when staying but this did not affect our stay and we were still very happy with our stay! Martha's windows is close to one of the main streets of Kuta so very convenient as it's walking distance to most places in Kuta, however it's hidden away on a smaller off-street so one does not notice any traffic and it feels like a little oasis in the trees. Martha and all the staff was very welcoming and warm, and helped us out with all needs. We had an accident (unrelated to the hotel) and Martha really went out of her way to help us out. it really felt so welcoming and safe

The bungalows are absolutely stunning — airy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the soft rustle of palm trees was pure magic. The pool area is a peaceful oasis, and the location is perfect: close enough to walk to the beach or restaurants, but still wonderfully quiet and serene. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to exhale. I left feeling recharged, grateful, and already planning my return. Martas Windows doesn’t just set the bar — it is the bar.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

We absolutely loved staying at Marta's Windows. The room and location were incredible, but the thing that really makes this stand out from other places is Marta herself. She is amazing. She helped us find drivers to check out nearby beaches, made sure we knew how much to pay each time, and helped us organise our trip from Kuta to Gili Air, which is really handy when neither of us ride motorbikes. The whole team at Marta's are brilliant, helpful, and friendly. We loved it so much we came back twice. I also love how she is trying to make it as eco friendly as possible, you can fill your water bottles for free, and even the items in the bathroom have sustainability in mind.

The place is nice. The bungalow was big and spacious with upstairs balcony and downstairs private terrace which was really nice. There was a fridge with drinks so if you came late, you can still have your beer or soda. There was a bit of musty smell in the room or the smell came from the AC.. Breakfast was tasty, there were free drinking water and staff were really friendly as was the owner. We booked private car for a good price from there to Bangsal port where you can easily catch a boat to Gili islands. When the pool is open again, it will be nice and calm place to have a holiday.

We loved our bungalow, we were travelling with SUP boards so it was great to have the area downstairs to store them. We hired scooters with board racks from the staff, they were quick to organise and perfect once we got them. Breakfast was delicious. We met Marta every morning and she was so helpful giving advice for surf, waterfalls and further travel on to the Gili islands, thank you Marta 🙏 Location was perfect, just a short walk to the main st, great restaurants, The Hut was our favourite especially the chicken curry. And just across the road, Curfew brewing up good coffee ☕️

We had the most amazing stay at Marta’s windows while we were in Lombok. We stayed for 7 nights with our 10 month old baby. There was a cot set up with everything we needed when we checked in. Pool toys and a sand pit for our little girl to enjoy. She loved it. There are 7 rooms at the property, great size, clean and comfortable. There is enough room to relax privately or great communal areas to interact with other guests if you like. This accomodation would be suitable for families, couples or singles. We saw all walks of life and it was lovely getting to know other people’s stories. The location is amazing. 2 min walk to the main street where there are endless options of restaurants and shopping. It was impressive watching Marta speak German, Spanish, English and Bahasa in the space of 5 mins. She is an excellent host and human. Marta and her staff go above and beyond for their guests in every way. Marta organised scooter hire, visas and transfer for us. We saw her every morning for a friendly chat and she was always contactable via what’s app. Her staff are friendly and very accommodating. Tony, Ramdam, Jack and Hery always made sure we had everything we needed. Always working hard whether it’s serving breakfast, cleaning our room thoroughly or working behind the bar. We always felt looked after and in the company of good people. It’s amazing how quickly this place felt like home and how sad we were to leave. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone and cannot wait to come back. Thanks for making our time in Lombok unforgettable, Marta.

Marta's Windows is an absolute gem! The amenities are exceptional and meticulously thought out, ensuring every stay is incredibly comfortable. The cleaning is fantastic. The location is unbeatable: very quiet, yet within walking distance to the center. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond make for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a standout stay! We picked Matas Windows last minute after wanting to change location and booked for 2 nights due to the excellent feedback comments, which I must say, weren't exaggerated. less than 5 mins into main street, but away from all the noise. accommodation is perfect. This is 5 star accommodation at 3 star price! from the spotless rooms and common areas to the facilities provided, even down to earplugs and mosquito wipes if needed. we tried to extend our stay by another 7 nights with Marta, who is onsite to greet all guests, but unsurprisingly there was no availability. great breakfast included too.

there is nothing to dislike

From the first step into the entrance you feel the sudden wave of a relaxing oasis. The authentic but yet minimalist style of the architecture. The owner Marta and her staff has gone over and beyond to make our 8 nights stay there feel like home. The hospitality and thoughtfulness that was put into this lovely hotel is personalised to cater to your liking. Marta has ever been so kind to help organise day trips for us. My kids absolutely loved the pool especially. Not big but just the right size. Imagine waking up and being able to dip into the pool within 10 steps. Having nice fresh fruits for breakfast and Lombok coffee and fresh fruit juice by the pool. We hardly left because there really wasn’t a need to except for getting our steps in but other than that, we’ve never felt so relaxed on a holiday before that we never want to leave. Thanks to Marta and all the wonderful staff for making our stay such a memorable one. We will be back for sure!

Perfection at its best, nothing to fault.

We left Marta Windows a few days ago, and we just want to say a huge thank you to the team and Marta for making our stay in Lombok incredible! To begin with, thank you Marta for being there and for guiding us so well. Thanks also to Odek, who allowed us to discover more of this beautiful island! I lived in Bali for two years and had never been to Lombok before… I regret not coming sooner... And then I wanted to give feedback on the wonderful team in Marta Windows ! We were received so warmly and kindly that we felt a huge pang in our hearts when we left... ⭐️⭐️ Special mention to Tony, Harry, and Reni (the others were great too, but we saw them less). ⭐️⭐️ The place, the localisation, the breakfast, the bed, wifi, swimming pool all was perfect ! We will definitely return to Marta Windows next time and will recommend it to anyone going in Lombok !
