Check in was smooth and a young lad was very courteous to help with the luggage. The room was descent size and bathroom had good water pressure. Bed was comfortable and the room had think curtains to block out lights, including those coming from the street.

Standard and boring breakfast selection especially if you are a vegetarian (and not much of a choice for vegan). After a day or two it gets really tiring to eat the same breakfast, especially hot choices: mini sausages, potatoes, fried beans and tomatoes. Eggs can be prepared to your liking. Nothing changes from day to day, it's always the same thing. Walls are paper thin so you will hear neighbors and everything that goes in the hallways (including squeaking stairs). Bathroom sink is so small, one is bound to splash all over just brushing teeth or washing face. Light turn on/off with a tiny rope was a "revelation"--didn't see it since the 1950s in Eastern Europe...

A real gem of a hotel! Very comfortable bed, well appointed rooms with shower gel, soap and shampoo/conditioner provided. Lots of fluffy towels. We got upgraded to a Deluxe Room with a Jacuzzi bath and a Sauna on the ground floor which had slippers and dressing gowns. There was a room safe. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The staff were so helpful with ordering taxis (my husband was undergoing a procedure at Royal Papworth Hospital). The staff couldn't do enough for you. The Italian Restaurant adjoining the hotel (used for breakfast) was an excellent choice for dinner - pasta, pizza, chicken, fish etc.) Desserts were very nice too. Felt very comfortable the night I had to eat alone while my husband was in hospital overnight. The large car park was a real bonus for us to park the car whilst we went backwards and forwards to the hospital by taxi (easier than parking at Royal Papworth).

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was as described. Couldn't fault anything at all. Maybe a lounge area would have been good but it is a small hotel and it did have some seating in reception with a coffee machine. We knew what to expect and were not disappointed.

Easy and convenient from the train station. Booked a deluxe room with jacuzzi and sauna for my daughter and a single for myself. Rooms and beds were comfortable and we both enjoyed our sauna immensely. Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant. Nice family feel and the food was delicious. Unfortunately there was a mix up with our order and we ended up with my daughter eating and my risotto came after she had finished her pasta. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We had a wonderful mother/daughter catch up time - very special! Thank you!

There was only one thing really and that was the mix up at dinner. It meant we didn't eat together although the waiter offered for me to have the seafood pasta which had been cooked by mistake. Unfortunately, I wanted the risotto I had chosen.

Very clean room. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional with cereals, fruit, full cooked breakfast and more. Wasn't expecting such a feast for the money we paid. There is a car park. Only stayed one night but would thoroughly recommend.

Our room was on the ground floor facing the road so there was some traffic noise but not enough to keep us awake. The bathroom was tiny and with no window it did have a musty smell. There was an extractor fan which took the steam out well but didn't quite remove the smell. However it was spotlessly clean.

The breakfast was truly exceptional: a superbly presented buffet, spaciously laid out with an extraordinary range of options for a hotel of this size. We were also offered the option of an omelette and other alternative egg choices on arrival by two most helpful waitresses who greeted us and explained everything. Top quality bacon and sausages and small touches e.g. proper 'homestyle' marmalade which was much appreciated! The bedroom was spotless and even included a small fridge. We thought the bed most comfortable - slightly springy which we like.

Nothing!

The staff, food etc were excellent. Plenty of car parking space. Facilities in room were lovely. Hotel is right near to good bus links into city. Really enjoyed staying there.

Staying in room 127, through the wall you can hear clearly the hand dryers from the restaurant toilets. no complaints but suggestions for improvement: If using the spa bath the extraction fan needs to be improved, not powerful enough. The tap for the spa bath is too far back and not forward enough to put the water directly into the bath; you have to put a small towel round the back of the taps to stop water going over the edge of the bath and onto the floor. windows could do with an opening limiter so people can open windows without allowing it to open too much for someone to gain easy access to room, 127 is on ground floor.

Well situated, approximately 35 minutes walk from the centre of Cambridge, but for those who don't fancy the walk, the no.3 bus passes by the entrance. No problems finding a space in the hotel car park, we just parked up for the week and relied on our legs and the regular public transport. Excellent breakfast, whilst the attached restaurant serves good, if a little pricey Italian food. Staff throughout the hotel and restaurant helpful, effective and cheerful.

The WiFi was quite poor, regularly kicking you out and making you sign in again.

The location is great half way between Cambridge city centre (number 3 stops right outside the hotel) and Addenbrookes hospital which is a 20 ish minute walk. The car parking is secure and they even let me use it for an additional day. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is plentiful with hot English breakfast, nice latte machine and cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt and pastries. The Italian restaurant was lovely and authentic. I will stay here again for future hospital visits. The room is comfy and has tea and coffee making facilities with a biscuit and the bathroom extremely modern with mini toiletries.

The shower could have been a little more powerful.

We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago for the first time it was lovely that's why we decided to stay here again the restaurant was amazing. While hotel didn't changed much which is lovely unfortunately restaurant wasn't as good as first time, food was way too expensive for what you get, my husband had a mixed grill which was £30 and it was so basic 😞 I had sea food risotto which come without prawns which I sent it back, when I got it second time it was lovely and very tasty but my husband ate it without me and finished his before mine came. Breakfast was good choice but wasn't enough hot food there people were waiting for staff to keep bring it in and two girls just didn't know what they were doing you were keeping asking if we can have this or have that.

Housekeeping is wonderful. Came back to my bed made, my clothes folded, my shoes put together neatly and bathroom touched up. To be honest there was a mix up with my check in, but the man who was there, done his utmost best and he did. Breakfast was fabulous. You could make your own coffee like a capuchino, mocha and everything else. It was a lovely coffee. The girls were wonderful. Everything was done smoothly, no rushing and a great sense of relaxation. If I was asked to complain about anything, I can't. The word family is strongly emphasised. The fact my bed was made, shoes put by, my clothes lovely folded was a Mother's touch. It was home from home. Well done to you all and Thank you. Hope to come back some day 😊
