I LOVE this place. You just can't find this kind of ambience in a modern hotel. Falling asleep underneath 400 year old wood ceilings is - it’s corny to say - but you feel like you’re the hero in a romance novel set in a Spanish Don’s 16th century villa. I travel for work, and I’ve done it for so many years that all hotels now feel pretty blah and boring. This is the first one in years that really got me excited and made me specifically want to come back to the same facility. There are a couple of other awesome things about the place that will make your stay better. First, free, secure parking on the hotel grounds. Parking in Vitoria is terrible! Especially downtown, street parking is hard to find, and parking garages are kind of scary to drive in (very tight spaces). Other hotels charge 10-15 euros per day for parking, so the parking lot here is a cost savings AND and a huge convenience. Second, it’s an instagram dream. If you’re into photography or social media, there are a million picture perfect angles here. There's a gorgeous garden, a really cool courtyard, fantastic street scenes, etc. A few compromises: The hotel is on the edge of Vitoria, which means you'll want great walking shoes or perhaps a taxi to get to the historical town centre and all the amazing restaurants in the city. I didn’t mind in the least, and it was oh-so-worth-it to me, but be aware. There are some great pubs close by (2 minute drive) for “pinchos” when you’re hungry, but down town is where your tummy wants to be. I had no complaints, as a business traveler, but plan ahead. The WIFI was strong, which was all I really needed. But the desks in the room are antiques, so you won’t have a Marriott style 10 ft working surface. In short - I LOVE this place. I've recommended it to a bunch of times, I've stayed here multiple times, and I'm booked to come back. That says it all!

No complaints at all. Just think about location. This hotel will give you a memorable experience you won't find anywhere else, but it's a loooong walk to the city centre. I say, stay here, take an uber, and take a million memorable photos of your trip. You won't be disappointed.

Beautyfull old/medieval building with style and soul. Amazing piece of construction skills from hundreds of years ago with own private closed parking.

Unfortunatelly fridge in our room didnt work so we been not able to keep Some drinks and food cool as we wanted… Also the breakfast suppose to be a buffet style but was really small. 2 types of cheese 2 types of ham, Some tomato spread, Olive oil , jam, toasts, Apple. We saw a couple getting eggs, so we asked also for to get a answer that she had only 2 eggs… i would recomend to go to Vitoria’s city center Or Some proper cafetaria/restaurant for a good breakfast for possible even less money

This accommodation has a rustic style. The rooms are next to each other in a U shape and there is only 1 floor. The parking is free and it is internal, so separated by a fence from the street. In our room there were also 2 bathrooms, 1 of them for disabled people. There is a natural reserve parc close to the hotel, where you can go for a nice walk.

It is a bit far away from the city centre, but so it was quiet,

It was nice old but comfortable old building

This is my biggest complaint. We booked with the thought that there was a restaurant and bar. That is how it was described on booking. But we came there and the restaurant was closed until the Monday. The breakfast was nothing. We had done a big heavy hike. Expecting to relax at the hotel. Instead we had to go to the city to eat. When we book we needed to know this situation. We would have booked somewhere else. We were very tired. You need to know we are seniors.

The place is located in a quiet part of Vitoria, yet it is close to the center via public transport. The hotel is an old 16th century wooden palace, very charming and spacious. The room is wide and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we spent only 1 night, but if we are to come again to Vitoria, this is definitely the place we'll stay in. Bonus: it has a free parking, which is very secure. The staff was friendly.

This hotel is converted from the 500-year-old home of a nobleman, a beautiful and very well-maintained property. It has the historic feel with beams on the ceiling, furniture from a previous era - but is very well maintained and comfortable too with good plumbing and other modern facilities. It was a real treat to stay here, it's well decorated too with a lovely courtyard and parking in a closed yard. The staff are friendly and helpful and the bar and kitchen were pretty ok too! I can't comment on the breakfast as we are vegetarian so usually don't select the hotel breakfast and look for other options, easy enough in Spain because the best fruit is available, some of which you don't get in India.

No kettle in the room. They very sweetly made us coffee at 7am - but charged us for it, it wasn't a big deal but surely chai-coffee in the morning should be a given?

This palacio was really a nice discovery. All areas are much more beautiful then on pictures. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. We also had an offer of getting 8 course dinner for 55 euro at the place but we already made reservation at the other place. All in all we were delighted with our stay at this hotel.

Lovely 500 Yr old hotel full of rustic charm. Set in well cared for gardens easy walk to local bars etc

It's really not a question of what we didn't like. Quoted with amenities is a restaurant, and yes, there is. However, it's used for business/weddings !! Not for hotel guests, which is misleading. Bfast is in the quaint old bar. €6 for tea/coffee a choice of toast or various pastries.

The style is distressed chique but it has all modern comforts. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is at the city's edge, has free parking yet is a 10 minute walk to a tram going to the centre. Breakfast was wonderful.

I had no negatives. Some might be disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open but it suited me to visit the city and eat there.

The overall look of the hotel is fantastic, looks like a medieval palace, the rooms are very comfortable and the employees are very nice and helpful. The facilities have garage, a big dinning room and the breakfast was quite good. It was unfortunate that I didn't have enough time to enjoy more the city and the hotel.
