The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful! I loved sitting on the porch and soaking up the sounds and sights of nature. It is peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place for reflection and relaxation. Some people complained about it being too far from town, but I thought it was just right (about a 10 minute drive).
My teenage son and I were perfectly satisfied with the accommodations, but I couldn’t help noticing things that my parents would’ve complained about - the stairs and furniture could use some TLC. We are able-bodied, but if you are elderly, or traveling with someone who is, I would suggest you request a ground-level room.

Very beautiful, large property and the person working there was extremely nice and accommodating. There are several cottages on the grounds, but it seems like majority of them are not being used or going through some remodeling/updates? We were the only guests on the property on Saturday night, so we got the entire place to ourselves! You cannot beat this price for Idyllwild considering you get so many amenities with it (pool, sauna, pickleball and volleyball court, etc). The pool is heated and goes up to 3.5 ft, so not deep. The spa/sauna rooms is really nice and clean as well. The bedroom was spotless and came with the standard amenities. There was also a microwave and mini fridge. The beds were on the firmer side but it didn’t bother me. You will need to connect your device their wifi since cell service is scarce there.
The room was very clean, but the overpowering smell of the Febreze plug in air freshener gave me a headache. Too overpowering. The smell of the nature pine trees from outside is so nice and clean, would be nice to have a more natural, milder scent in the room. Thats my only suggestion!

I booked this facility to be in the fresh air with cool temperatures. I also booked because of onsite trails and the views shown on their website. I was pleased that it snowed prior to my arrival which for me made the trails more pleasant. My accomodation had large corner windows and a porch with a glider. I was able to sit by the fireplace heater and look at the pines and snow through my window and also bundle up and sit on the porch enjoying nature and seeing the many birds and listening to the owls and woodpeckers. If you want solitude for a few days, I suggest this facility. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with luxurious linens with no chemical smell. The shower was large with plenty of hot water. My room had lovely furnishings with a pigeon hole desk that was fun to sit at to study/write. I also felt very safe as the staff is available at all times and proved to be very caring hosts.
I would have liked to be able to walk to restaurants. However, the views where the facility is located is worth the trips out to town for meals. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, so it just took a bit of planning. I will also say that if you know about most mountain accomodations, they have been around for years. Everything is not brand new and modern. If that is what you prefer, then you may not enjoy this resort as much as I did.

The memory of sitting in a rocking chair on the balcony, gazing out at the breathtaking forest view, listening to the birds' cheerful songs, and sipping rich, delicious coffee brewed in the spotless in-room coffee maker is truly unforgettable.
The only unexpected issue was that the room didn’t have a hairdryer. When I called the front desk, the explanation I received didn’t seem particularly reasonable.

A perfectly peaceful setting and cozy rooms. We got an upgrade so had two rooms instead of one, with fridge and microwave. Sitting on the big porch was shady and cool even in the summer heat, felt like a tree house. Also the pool among trees was a delight. Everything has the old world charme. The manager was extremely helpful and gave us many good suggestions for the facility, hikes and restaurants in Idyllwild. The perfect place to relax and unwind!! Would love to come back in fall or spring.

This was the BEST mountain resort I have ever stayed at. Alhatti's exceeded my expectations. It was like a paradise on earth. Worship music throughout the entire property. I felt the presence of God everywhere I went. Who ever heard of scriptures on the bathroom walls at a private resort? I didn't before I came here. It was simply an amazing experience! I encourage everyone who reads this to escape away and visit Alhatti's at least once in your lifetime. I'll definnitely be BACK.
I loved everything about this facility

The thing I liked most was the feeling being at home. Very cozy, the view was breathtaking to wake up surrounded by the beautiful trees and mountains. I Love nature, it allowed me feel the love of God. It’s a home away from home a great place to meditate and gather your thoughts. Very much recommended, we can’t wait to come back and bring family and friends.
That our time there was too short, due to a meeting we had to attend back in the city. However we’re looking forward to returning soon.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time. It was so relaxing. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to ensure us a great experience. The natural beauty of the Forrest and epic beauty of the pool's location was awesome. Loved sitting on the balcony reading and having coffee. The room was large, comfortable, and very clean. I can't wait to return.

No breakfast. You can make coffee in your room, but there was just the small nasty creamer package. I will take my own creamer next time. ;)
