Everything is of highest quality. They really have thought of all the details. You have everything you need to stay for a short of a long while really conveniently. The design is beautiful and tasteful and the bed is really comfortable. The place is spacious, clean and very well attended. I loved it

My only complaint is the noise. The downside of it being located in close proximity to multiple bus stops and tram stations, the sound of the tram is quite loud in the room and it runs all night long. I managed with earplugs and a white noise machine that they provided me but if your sleep is light, it’s a disadvantage

Conveniently located along the Green Line L Train with easy access to the city in multiple directions. Relatively quiet neighborhood with few immediate amenities, but the Fulton Market and posh West Loop are 5-10 min walk. I'm not sure what people who complained about noise are talking about, but I stayed Sun - Thurs, so... Yes, there's a 4am garbage truck and a train but welcome to city life. I am single female traveler, never felt unsafe walking by myself at night.

No bathrobes.

Great location, easy to get around with a train station a block away. Large comfy bed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything I needed. Having an in-unit washer/dryer was convenient. Enjoyed having a TV as well. It was nice having a water refill station on each floor. Appreciated having luggage storage lockers for late checkout. Some people mentioned hearing noise from the nightclub downstairs, but I didn't hear any even on the nights they were open (I was on the top floor though). I only heard the humming of the trains passing by, which didn't bother me.

The building itself could use a little maintenance and cleaning, specifically the stairwell. The elevators are a bit slow. I didn't use the gym, but it seemed small. No oven available though I didn't need one.

The Sonder Market Hall flat that we were in was much larger than what the pictures made us believe. There was plenty of room for two people with large luggage to spread out without being in each other's way and hang up all of our clothes. The area was fantastic, just outside of the city centre, which made it quieter, yet close enough that whether by train or on foot we were never far from options for food or shops. The whole property is kept beautifully, welcoming you from the moment you get in the building with high end room perfumes and luring you in further with luxury toiletries. The bed was so large that we could easily have fit a third person if needed (or for two to spread out a little).

I wish that the windows opened. Although the air conditioning unit worked fine, we've found Chicago's climate in late March to be extremely dry and the AC was making that worse. Not being able to let some real fresh air in was a hindrance and we felt a touch stuffy in exclusively air conditioned air. Also, on Thursday nights (and potentially later, we checked out on Friday morning) the place turns into a night club and there was no way to escape hearing the music. Seeing as Sonder went above and beyond to provide luxury toiletries, adding some ear plugs would have been appreciated since the club nights are regularly scheduled.

The location was great, and the rum was greatly appointed and very clean.

I looked for the gym and could never find it. The closet they mentioned with extra supplies was never found either. Does this property really have either one of those? The other drawback is the lock on the front door and the lock on the room would not open untill exactly at 4 PM. Just keep that in mind if you’re staying there and it’s raining or freezing cold you’re not getting in until your to the minute check in time

After a terrible mishap where my initial room was not cleaned and had dirty sheets and leftover food and containers strewn throughout from last guest the staff bent over backwards to accommodate me and had me relocated and given an upgrade. The staff jess and Ariel were exceptional and helped avoid a terrible outcome on my last night in Chicago (from Australia), crisis averted!!!

See above, but luckily excellent staff prevailed. Being relocated to a different neighbourhood meant I couldn't explore the restaurants and bars I had hoped to visit.

The Sonder concept is really great: A hybrid between a hotel room and an apartment, offering many amenities from a washing machine to a fully equipped kitchen. Shoutout also to the very comfortable and big bed as well as the minimalist yet warm and pleasant styling of the place. I‘d give 10 stars if not for the missing trash recycling: Having one big bin where you just throw everything in is really out of tune.

Sonder is always very straightforward. Easy check-in, the room was tidy, bed was comfy, and there were great facilities (gym) and local restaurants in walking distance.

The ONLY downside was the train - it goes quite late into the night and starts quite early. If you have a room facing the city, you'll hear the train. It's not the end of the world, but it is noticeable.

We stayed here from Friday - Wednesday and upon reading the reviews online about the club downstairs we were having mixed thoughts about staying here, but regardless it was fantastic. Friday and Saturday evening the club downstairs was very loud with a lot of bass but nothing we didn’t sleep through. It is the only fault, maybe you should list this on your website? Instead of trying to hide it. Very clean, easy to find in a great area. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to tubes/metro lines. Good facilities, oven if needed, spotless fridge freezer and a washer dryer which was great as we are travelling round the country so saved us going to a laundrette

Only complaint is the noise from the club downstairs but it’s nothing we couldn’t sleep through.

The space was very comfortable - slept 4 easily. I asked for more towels and sheets when I arrived and they were brought promptly. Then I found the stash already in place in the kitchen closet. I had not looked there. The rooms had everything we needed. Easy walk to United Center -we were there for concerts. Close to lots of restaurants. The street where you drop off was never busy from traffic - very safe. I even used the gym one afternoon. We paid ahead for parking 2 blocks away but there were always some free spots on the streets nearby. However our stay did not include the weekend, which we read in reviews is very busy.

The only complaint - and we didn't mind that much - the walls are thin. The apartment next door had the music cranked up high long after 10pm on a Tuesday. We think they turned it off around 2am. But we were prepared for noise. Earplugs.
