We were in the area for Darker Waves at Huntington beach, this was way more affordable than the beach hotels and less crowded. It only took us about 30 minutes to get to the festival from the hotel. The room was simple and clean, friendly staff let us check in early since they had a room ready. Two diners right next door for food. No goons on the property bugging anyone. I would stay there again.

Lydia, the GM was great!! Zak at the Front Desk was very accomodating. Claudia in Housekeeping was the friendliest and best guest room attendant I have ever had in my 45 years and well over 1,000 hotel stays. I highly recommend this property. Marriott quality, at a Red Roof price. OUTSTANDING!! Now just don't raise your rates!!

One older grey haired lady in housekeeping was less that friendly, and failed to make up my room twice. The last time, her excuse was that I left my "do not disturb", which I did not!! I heard her say this, while I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my room to be cleaned. When she saw me, she said she would go clean it now. Every company (property) has a bad apple, and I found the one at this property. That said, I will continue to stay at this property every time I'm in LA for business. An in-room Microwave was the only thing missing from a perfect stay!!

The welcome was the best part! There were two gentlemen—one from Oregon, who was really helpful and easy-going, and the other who knew a lot about football (soccer), which I find quite uncommon in the US and really set the tone for the trip! Please give these gentlemen a raise, as first impressions make up at least 50% of the experience! The McDonald’s nearby saved me from starving at 4.00 AM, so I’d also say the location is excellent!

The heater was a bit loud, but considering my time zones were all over the place throughout the week, it didn’t make much difference! :)

We had a clean room, comfortable bed, mini fridge (a big plus), and good water pressure in the shower; it was centrally located, with a quick and easy check-in and check-out.

The rooms are incredibly plain with no framed photos or paintings, which made it a little too bare bones to look at (we were there for a good portion of the evening before bedtime). It would also be nice if key access was required for the elevator rather than just the floor entries, in case of creeps lurking around.

For the price I wasn't expecting a lot, but it was a nice room where everything was working and it was very clean. The manager I spoke with when I checked in and out was really nice, parking was easy, and it was easy to get in and out of the place.

The only negative (which I don't count against the property) was that we had some people not far outside our door smoking. There were plenty of designated smoking areas, so it was unfortunate that they decided to do that right next to us, and then leave their butts all on the ground.

This place is clean and quiet and the staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The location is good for the variety of destinations during our trip, and there is a variety of great spots to eat within a 5 mile radius.

Though its not really worth mentioning, they've cut back on some minor amenities- there's no more cable and no washer and dryer. But they still have wifi and housekeeping is still helpful when assistance is needed. And they did provide the location of the nearest laundromat. Overall, you still can't beat the value of this place if you're planning to travel between LA and OC.

I loved the facility had all none smoking rooms. I also called ahead to check about bed bugs and I was assured there were NO bedbugs in your facility, that you spray and keep making sure there all none. I brought my bug bed light just to be sure and NO there were none. The bedding looked and smelled very clean. I also want to thank the gentleman that checked me in seen I was elderly and he gave me a downstairs room. Thank you very much for such a pleasant stay. I will be staying there again.

the price for value was great. It seamed like a very well up kept motel. The staff was very friendly and parking was plenty. The internet speed was sufficient and towels were plenty. The coffee in the lobby tasted very well

I did not like the firmness of the pillows they were small and too soft. Felt like I had no pillow. Also the ac was acting up. When I set it to 73 it cooled down to 56 during the day. At night I set it to 73 and it warmed up to 78 before kicking in

Location for us great for Laguna Beach and Knott's Berry Farm. Room had hot water. Was clean. There was a table to use to study on. Gave us an extra hour to check out. McDonald's is right next door. Had a small refrigerator which we always look for and love. For our room parking was just a few feet away from our room. It had the ME television network and one Hallmark channel as well as a lot of other stations.

Temperature was fine but not sure if at times of the year it would have been nice to have blankets in addition to the sheets and light blanket on the bed. Would be nice to have a copy of the television channels given to us when we check in. Also, short description and easy to understand ways to use the television remote to find the stations available.

My first trip with my boyfriend! It was simple to get our rooms, just had a $1 hold on my card when getting our rooms. Also, didn't mind the area, it was between areas that we needed to go from Disneyland and Universal Studios. There is also 2 trader joes near by as well. We didn't stay at our rooms too long since we had things to do during the whole day. Inside the rooms was simple, I just wished there was a microwave because we did eat the chipotle, twice in a row.
