Ht Hotel complex is charming and has plenty of spaces to spread out and relax while it's open. The staff were friendly and accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in looking after us. The food and drink was excellent, with a great atmosphere and very clean throughout, even with shared bathroom facilities. Our package did not include ensuites but the common showers were more than adequate.

There was not really an area to play games or relax once the staff had closed for the day. It would be nice to have access to a guest lounge rather than the reception area. Given it was a weekday, the close-up was quite early, making it feel a littel restrictive.

I had a wonderful weekend getaway, spending a couple of nights at this lovely refurbished pub. Our stay was truly enjoyable, with fantastic food, drinks, helpful staff and live entertainment. It made for a memorable experience. Thank you!

I suggest adding a coffee machine to the guest kitchenette, as it would enhance the stay. Also, an automatic lighting system in the hallway at night would be beneficial, since the lights can be quite distracting when they shine through the door in the middle of the night. Aside from that, it was a pleasant experience overall.

This amazing building has been beautifully restored and is now a major local landmark. The views form the front bar across the river are superb. Rooms are nicely fitted and spacious. Lack of breakfast doesn't matter as there are at least three local cafes within 5 minutes and a superb coffee shop. Silva. The bars are great places to sit - especially by the huge picture windows - and the bar staff were lovely. The hotel is surrounded by all-day terraces. Special nights - 'Parma and a pot for $25' bring in a nice local crowd.

The kitchen was a bit random, sending our starters and mains in a kitchen-friendly - not diner-friendly - order. And the bar can shut early on quiet nights, leaving you with no local options. Warburton is beautiful, but Very Quiet.

Location is everything. Overlooking the river and into the mountains. The area has so much to offer. Our second time here....as usually Rachael and her staff were nothing short of fantastic, helpful, kind and enthusiastic. Meals delicious: highly recommend the cous cous and labna. This time we stayed in room 33 and the king bed was comfort +++. We just love this place and cannot recommend it highly enough

Well situated adjacent to the Yarra River and the town. We had a King room with a very comfortable bed with cotton bedding. Room and bathroom were very clean and the room itself was large and roomy.

To our taste the menu could be more varied and it would be very helpful if you could get breakfast at the hotel although a kitchenette for guests use is available.

I had a single room with a shared bathroom - but was lucky to have the bathroom all to myself. The room was decorated in a quirky style. Everything felt brand new and the pillows and mattress were incredibly comfortable. The staff were lovely - one brought water up to my room, and another tracked down chocolate mousse for me after the kitchen had closed! The wine list at the bar is very good, as you'd expect in this region. The sommelier encouraged me to try a few before settling on the one I liked best.

It was a little cold! I couldn't work the split system heating, but luckily I had a standalone bar radiator heater in the room, that I used to warm up.

Convenience, simplicity, perfect for cyclists on this iconic track

If I had booked directly with hotel instead of Booking com it would have been 20% cheaper. The information from booking.com on my confirmed booking indicated a private bathroom which I'd assumed was the reason for the higher price. This was incorrect and resulted in some disappointment but also inconvenience due to my limited cycling luggage not accommodating appropriate attire to wander to the bathroom during yhe night.

There's so much to like about this property! There's loads of character in the rooms, and everything is spotlessly clean, including the shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. We loved the ease of having the kids run around the beer garden in the afternoon, before an amazing dinner at the restaurant, and then just heading upstairs for the night. Highly recommend this property.

Staff were nice and friendly but slow to deliver service. This points to inefficiency due to poor systems.

They need to have a better system for ordering meals. Try a dedicated spot for meals a day a different spot for drinks. This would speed things up. Pity they don't offer breakfast.

Tastefully redecorated, maintaining its old world charm

Our room was kept lovely and warm by the reverse cycle heating in the ceiling, however the building itself was very cold. I do acknowledge that it’s freezing in Warburton in winter and it must be difficult and expensive to keep a big old building like this heated!
