We enjoyed our stay. Our daughters and us, booked 3 rooms, between us. 1 apartment and 2 queen bedrooms. My son was at the caravan park close by. We used the apartment to meet up, then organised outings. The owner told us about the lodges history and was very helpful in our requests. The staff were friendly. The lodge is being renovated. We will be back again. Thankyou for our lovely stay.

Maybe a fenced area for little ones, around the barbecue area. But as I said it is being renovated, so we stayed mainly in the apartment.

We were in room 1 which looks newly renovated and was nicely appointed. I liked the embroidered fluffy towels and the Tim Tams are also a nice touch! The common room is delightfully quaint, sadly we didn't get a chance to play pool in the pool room.

It's not that I "didn't like" it but maybe worth noting that the room we were in is much newer and nicer than you might expect from looking at the outside of the building - I guess it's all being renovated in stages!

The way the staff were so accommodating. The owner even come to our door knocked on it, wished us all the best for the wedding were going and let us know he was going to prepare the open fire place for us for when we got back from the wedding and we had to do was to light it. The Service was really very good

Beds were a little soft The hot water took a little time to kick in, but that is a little understandable being in a small country town like Warburton

The lounge area was very historical, and cosy. We loved looking at the history of Warburton. The Lodge is situated in a quiet area of town. Having an electric blanket was wonderful ! The host was very friendly and helpful.

It took a very long time for the warm water to come through to the shower, which left us wondering if we'd need to be showering in cold water.

My room was upgraded so I had a brand new room, freshly painted, immaculate. I had a microwave, toaster, jug, fridge. TV had Netflix.

Overall, the property is very old, rundown and dilapidated (but I was given an excellent new room.) Owner called me and asked me to delay my arrival and pay cash because credit card facility wasn’t working. I had to find ATM. When I arrived I was told I could use my card after all. That’s when they upgraded my room. The lady at the information centre at the Water Wheel was very negative about the property and told me not to stay there.

The property is in a good location, up on the hill, close to town and some hiking spots. Alan and Amy the hosts have done quite a lot of rennovating to the rooms, and each bed had an electric blanket as it can get quite cold at Warburton. at night.

I did not get breakfast, and i think i was charged for it. The host Amy was 40 minutes late for my check in and so my 89 year old mother and i had to sit in the creepy dark hall, that was freezing.

The lodge is located under 5mins drive from town. It has an old world charm but the room looks refurbished, has basic necessities and clean. We enjoyed the fire place so much, which the owners were kind enough to start. Just note that the place does not have a card terminal installed yet so cash is their preferred method of payment though they offer payment transfers as well.

It would be nice to have a curtain cover the clear louvered window in the bathrooms as it’s not frosted. Also note that the walls are thin and you can hear the guests outside. These comments really didn’t bothered us so much though.

Modern, squeaky clean rooms with quaint shared lounge area and fireplace. The owners are lovely ☺️, it was an easy walk to join the riverside walking trail and a 25 min drive to the summit of Mt Donna Buang.

The only issue I had was no heating in the ensuite bathroom given our stay was middle of winter.

The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean, including the bathroom. It was large and well equipped with toiletries, heater worked well and the electric blanket was a bonus! The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and very accommodating with our bikes. Thank you!*

It was a little noisy ... I don't think it was the property itself, more just street noise.

The place was very clean and cozy. The facilities were so appealing, I’d love to come back with a group of friends; it looks like so much fun! The electric blankets were a big plus for the cold weather, and it's conveniently close to great shops. Overall, an amazing stay.
