The staff are very friendly and helpful with a lot of local knowledge, some speak English which helped us get by. The rooms are spacious and good facilities. Food is hearty and authentically loca as well as cheap.

It is off the AP8 highway, so not easy to get too by foot, we had to get a bus which runs once an hour from Zarautz.

Very nice traditional hotel but with, inside, very modern and efficient equipment: lift, shower, etc... EXCELLENT food, nice personnel, private parking. Very quiet at very nice diner and night at this typicnight. Very reasonable prices. Altogether very satisfactory.

This is a superb family run hotel. We are most grateful to the excellent hosts for their great kindness and wonderful welcome on our arrival. The beautifully prepared homemade food was delicious. Our hosts gave generously of their time to source travel information and provide expert guidance to enable us reach our planned destination.

It was adequate. Nice food.

Directions to property. We arrived and road was closed. We could see hotel but couldn't get there. A lovely lady in a hotel in village helped us and we got there by another route. The hotel management should print the directions in English on their Web page.

A cute, & comfortable hotel! No AC, but we were able to open the windows for a fresh breeze. Good breakfast & very nice hosts! Good value. Close to beach towns of Getaria & Zumaia (Flysch Rocks). Would stay again!

Located on a traffic circle, so a little noisy.

We were late, but were warmly received and fortunately we could also have dinner in the restaurant. Dinner was fantastic, breakfast, on the other hand, a bit skimpy. It is a cozy family hotel that looks like a chalet in the Alps. 10 minutes by car from the beach. and a charming fishing village of Getaria.

The breakfast can be a bit more extensive.

Nice, small, cozy, located at the top of a little hill, quiet, lovely sorroundings, friendly staff. Very family like style. Like a little lodge.

Room was spotless and great size. Food was wholesome also. Staff are extremely helpful and polite.

The hotel is located outside of Getaria which can prove a disadvantage if completing the camino del norte as you have to get a taxi to and from the hotel to get back to the path. However in saying that, the staff are extremely helpful in organizing this and ensuring you join the path at your preferred destination.

Hotel is in quite a remote location, so you would need a car or bike to visit from Zarautz. It is in a pretty village in beautiful countryside. Excellent restaurant doing simple, good value local food.
