It iis not a dislike . . Gazteategi is on a fresh, cool, high ocation But if a hot spell coincided with a stay, there is no air conditioning to mitigate it.

Oh my, the what a stunning place the hotel is located at: on the top of a mountain where a scenic road runs up to, with a gorgeous view of the Zarautz town and the Atlantic coast from your room window. The room itself was bright, clean and well maintained. And what a kind stuff is taking care of this place!

Apart from it would have been nice to equip rooms with an electric kettle everything else is just great.

at first sight I thought that’s just a basic small room and I didn’t like it too much but then I opened the window … it’s crazy fantastic view over there ! view to die for ! I slept the whole night with and open window and it looked like there is no wall the whole night was raining , amazing ! and fresh air ! when I woke up I was impressed by the view again ! the place is clean and cool for one night or couple of nights ! you can hear neighbours but thx God at night everybody sleeps so silence everywhere

Amazing location in the heart of green hills and close to the beach. It’s very clean, the room is big and the toilet too. It is very quiet at night and there is a very good blind on the window. The staff are very nice and friendly. The views from the terrace are spectacular.

There isn't anything there. Although there is a bar come restaurant upstairs at the property which I think would be open if there was enough people staying

A little difficult to find as it is in the countryside and Google map doesn't find it. But if you arrive before the night , no problem- you can ask people around for directions , they know the hotel. Better to arrive before sunset.

Very nice hotel. Be prepared for the mountain road. I have minibus, for me it was difficult to drive almost vertical. But the hotel is very nice.

On hot humid days room where we stayed feelt very warm and we couldn't open windows at night due to mosquitos coming in
