Was slightly worried by reviews which said it was difficult to find and meant driving up steep hills. In fact it was quite easy to find despite wiggly roads which were for the most part not steep and easy to navigate even in the dark on a rainy night. And the views in the morning oh wow. We were there at a quiet time but I would really like to go back and enjoy it for a bit longer.

There was nothing to dislike

Edfication with 6 hotel rooms and 5 rooms with kitchenets for longer stays. Ample convenient external parking in the facility. The emerald hills that provide bestiful virws of the coastal towns of very proximal toens of Zarautz, Getaria, Orio. Vary quiet, pastoral ambient and nights. Cozy, personal attention.l from manager and dining room personnel. Anple clean rooms and bathrooms with very comfortable beds. Good homemade food for all meals. Great value for all hosting and location benefis provided.

It iis not a dislike . . Gazteategi is on a fresh, cool, high ocation But if a hot spell coincided with a stay, there is no air conditioning to mitigate it.

Oh my, the what a stunning place the hotel is located at: on the top of a mountain where a scenic road runs up to, with a gorgeous view of the Zarautz town and the Atlantic coast from your room window. The room itself was bright, clean and well maintained. And what a kind stuff is taking care of this place!

Apart from it would have been nice to equip rooms with an electric kettle everything else is just great.

Location is superb, but the arrival might be a hussle for those who have less experience by car. The roads are narrow. The place is superb except all rooms are quite close to eachother with a small corridor. Thus, noise could be an issue.

Noise problem between rooms

Amazing location in the heart of green hills and close to the beach. It’s very clean, the room is big and the toilet too. It is very quiet at night and there is a very good blind on the window. The staff are very nice and friendly. The views from the terrace are spectacular.

Nothing

at first sight I thought that’s just a basic small room and I didn’t like it too much but then I opened the window … it’s crazy fantastic view over there ! view to die for ! I slept the whole night with and open window and it looked like there is no wall the whole night was raining , amazing ! and fresh air ! when I woke up I was impressed by the view again ! the place is clean and cool for one night or couple of nights ! you can hear neighbours but thx God at night everybody sleeps so silence everywhere

The isolation peace and quiet and magnificent views

There isn't anything there. Although there is a bar come restaurant upstairs at the property which I think would be open if there was enough people staying

Clean, well decorated pretty room . Nice view on countryside.

A little difficult to find as it is in the countryside and Google map doesn't find it. But if you arrive before the night , no problem- you can ask people around for directions , they know the hotel. Better to arrive before sunset.

Very nice hotel. Be prepared for the mountain road. I have minibus, for me it was difficult to drive almost vertical. But the hotel is very nice.

On hot humid days room where we stayed feelt very warm and we couldn't open windows at night due to mosquitos coming in
