The kind hosts were fabulous, due to a change in infrastructure that was not yet updated in our navigation we had to call the hotel about how to get there, the lady came to where we were and helped us. Tip for fellow travelers: just drive into the street with the red lights and warnings about ‘restricted area, the hotel has a permit that clears your car during your stay.

The airco was broken and the substitute portable airco was insufficient to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. But with all rooms booked, we appreciated the effort!

Comfortable Coffee making facilities excellent bathroom

Relatively expensive so questionable value for money however, there is little choice in Zerautz for quality hotels or other Hotels in general. The Hotel is a modified or adapted building so the internal structure of the room walls are relatively thin meaning sounds from other rooms and the corridor can be detected, but as the hotel tends to attract a good standard of clientele this should only be a problem for those most sensitive to external sounds.

Super clean and comfortable room in the center of town, a short walk from the train station. The staff were very nice and gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. We were steps from great bars, but the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms are all on the ground level and have a skylight that can be covered at night. You can't open any windows, but there is a great air conditioner/heater/ventilation system. There was a great coffee maker in the room. Would definitely recommend!

We would have liked access to a fridge (either in the communal eating area or in the room). Everything else was great!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The room had ample of space, with a tall ceiling, a modern, clean, functional, and stylish outfitting. I would rate the room itself and the adjoint bathroom among the best I have stayed in. Zerupe is perfectly located for anything that you might want to do in Zarautz. It is right on the doorstep of the Old town, a stone's throw from the beach, and a couple of minutes walk to the station.

I did personally not mind at all, but some people might be somewhat put off by the skylights. I found this a nice feature that added to the spaciousness and light, but it might feel strange to people expecting a view out the window.

Incredibly helpful staff. We arrived with our electric bikes and they helped us set them up so they could charge overnight. They were also extremely helpful with things to do in the area and arranging the parking of our vehicle.

The one negative was at our room didn't have any Windows whatsoever. On the good side there was a large Skylight so at least some daylight came into the room.

I arrived late but the gentleman (I wish I could remember his name) was gracious and helpful. I am walking/hiking the Camino del Norte. The gentleman gave me good information on the two options to walk to the next town I was staying in. He also gave me wonderful recommendations on places to eat. Then he carried my pack to my room and showed me how everything worked. I loved the murals and skylight. The lady (again, I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly kind and gracious the following morning. Assisting me with forwarding my pack to my next accommodation. I wish I could have stayed a little longer but I had already planned to walk. It is kind people like them who make traveling a pleasure.

Good place - we booked in a hurry on our first day of the camino and they let us check in early which was really nice after a big day walking. Beds were comfy. Having plenty of coffee supplied was great and the bathroom was great.

No windows in the rooms make this a place feel a bit different, natural light comes through a skylight. Would be nice to have access to a refrigerator.

On the edge of old town Zarautz - 30 minutes from Sam Sebastian. 3 minute walk from beach and bus stop. Excellent staff, very helpful and interesting people with local information. Was a good choice, not to busy or crowded like San Sebastian. But close enough to commute. Great beaches and walks.

Stay wasn’t long enough.

We were made extremely welcome when we arrived. The two members of staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable with every convenience. The natural light in the room came from large roof lights with automatic shutters. The room was on ground level with easy access to the street. Very close to lots of bars and restaurants and shops. A short walk (5 / 10 mins) to the wonderful sandy beach. Great location, great town.

Wonderful hosts, very warm, welcoming and helpful. We received great tips about visiting the Basque Country, the country, language and also about great places to eat. Excellent restaurant / pintxos bar next door. Walking distance to the beach and near to the city centre. Nice breakfast available on demand. There was no self-parking garage, but the valet service was very prompt.

Room had no windows, but architecture / layout was interesting and AC working well. Both Wifi and mobile networks were not working for the entire stay (1 week), but it seems to have been connectivity issues in the whole city so most likely not hotel's fault.
