This isn’t one of those motels that take misleading pics. The place is definitely updated & remodeled the right way. Quiet, clean, no weirdos, well lit, cameras everywhere, very friendly staff. It’s a bit pricey for a motel but it’s worth it if you don’t want to shell out big bucks for a nice hotel & still want to enjoy a decent room at a convenient location. It’s a motel, yes, but one that you won’t feel you need to take a hot shower after staying in.

The maid service can be more attentive to details like corners behind & doors. I told them I didn’t need service as I was only in town for 2 nights, they still came in, took my towels & didn’t replace them lol. I chalk it up to miscommunication.

It had recently been remodeled with new furnishings, carpet, bedding, paint, etc. It was an excellent place for a good nights rest while traveling through the area.

The location wasn’t ideal, but it was not far from the interstate. There were very few restaurants in the immediate area to choose from for a meal. It needed some signage to find the ice machine and vending area. I had to go to the front desk to locate those items.

This stay at the Emerson Inn was our third. We are artists at a craft show and stay at the Emerson every year. I have probably written this before but it is worth repeating. These owners take great pride in their property and service. Our room was impeccably clean. The beds were very comfortable; the towels were absorbent. The tub has a safety bar and is lined with a nonskid coating. I deeply appreciate both features. Housekeeping was done every day. The location was perfect for our needs- places are nearby for a quick bite or snack. I 95 is close by. There was ample parking and wifi; the TV had lots of channels. There was a fridge, microwave, safe, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, and plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Vending machines worked and there was an ice machine.The price was very reasonable and our host was so pleasant- checking in with us to make sure we were satisfied. This hotel is a great place to stay- I could not be happier with our accommodations and I plan to return should our show calendar permit.

It was clean, comfortable and very close to a wonderful diner.

We had just gotten back from the cruise. We needed to take a train home to North carolina. Unfortunately our train did not leave until 11:00 at night. I ended up having to pay for two nights stay when I actually only stayed till about 8:00 pm the next day. I feel that it should have been prorated because check in is at 3:00 p.m. and I left 5 hours later but got charged for a whole night stay. I wasn't too happy about that. But I was between a rock and a hard place. I didn't have anywhere else I could go, so I had to pay another $100 to spend the night when I didn't even spend the night.

The ongoing Reno's are great. The room was clean and comfortable. We were here a few years ago and it's better still. Good job Emerson, keep up the good work. We will definitely stay here again

There could be abit more stuff in the breakfast area. Maybe add some bread or pastries with some packs of butter or some fruit possibly.

Big clean rooms, good TV, fridge, safe, iron facilities. Great price overall. We chose the motel to go ice hockey so good value. Walmart took about 10-15mins to walk and was really dark and lots of homeless people (obviously not motels fault)

Breakfast wasn't the best. It was continental. Kids didn't like anything, small sugar doughnuts, small packs of other biscuits and juice so ended up buying ceral for them.

It was quite clean cheap ..they have really cleaned it up and I would personally recommend them over econo lodge on university or any other hotels near . washing machine works great and it's cheap 🤩

Being downstairs you can hear people really good! Upstairs for me any day

We loved how clean the room was. I walked around in the room barefoot and never got sand or anything else on the bottom of them. The bathroom was squeaky clean too!

The only thing we had an issue with was the rooms curtain in the window was a bit too long because it covered the blower fan for the air conditioner.

I was impressed by the light fixtures on the outdoor of the motel; It gave it a modern touch and def elevated its appearance.

The older gentleman that checked me in kept asking if I smoked multiple times after I had already told him I didn’t smoke. It made me uncomfortable and made my experience awkward when I just wanted to unwind and rest after a long drive.

it is an average motel near a big road from the outside but we appreciated the inside. The room was spacious, quiet and nice for a one night stay. It is easy to come and go by car. One need to remember to check whether they booked a smoking or non smoking room. However, we had the opportunity to change without any problem.

The breakfast could be more simple but healthier. The light in the bathroom could be stronger.
