Most decent and affordable hotel near the downtown Jacksonville FL area. Comfortable King bed. Quiet hotel. Felt secure as you need the room key to enter hotel and u have to call the front desk for entry to the hotel to check before you actually get your room key. I love that staff appears to be obsessed with making sure that no one smokes in the hotel room. They check the room in between extending stays to ensure that no smoking has taken place in the hotel. That’s very important to me as I hate the smell of smoke.

I hate that you can’t turn on the bathroom light without the noisy bathroom ceiling vent fan from coming on!! I really hate this. The bathroom is a comfortable size with a huge nice mirror with a big long light above the mirror. Most women like to be in the mirror a lot for health and beauty reasons. However, with the loud bathroom ceiling vent fan, you are forced to turn it off which then turns off the big light above the mirror and now you can’t see yourself in the mirror. Again, I really hate this. Would be great if they were able to rewrite the vent fan and the bathroom light to be able to be turned on and off separately so that you can use the mirror constantly without the vent fan constantly on.

Well lit outside around hotel makes you feel safe. People who stay here appear to be hard working people with jobs so it definitely adds to the feeling of being in a safe environment! Quiet, Non- Smoking Hotel which I appreciate because I don’t like cigarette or weed smoke! Hotel Staff seem to really enforce the Non Smoking Policy that other hotels only pretend to! Please keep this up!! Also gotta have key card to even get into the hotel front desk or you have to call front desk from the phone right outside the door to be let in for check in! Again, all of these things create the feeling of a safe environment.

Soda vending machine in the laundry room has been broken for weeks!! Either get it fixed or get another one!! Seems like this would be an easy fix!

The bed was EXTREMELY Comfortable!! That was a nice surprise! The room was very clean! In fact, it was cleaner than more expensive hotels that I’ve stayed in! I did not see any roaches, big or small, and I stayed there for three nights. The room was spacious and the TV was large with a nice substantial remote. The location was between two more expensive hotels. I felt completely safe walking and exercising around outside alone because the area was very well lit!! I ate at a nice Japanese restaurant in walking distance behind the hotel and the food was delicious! I also found a beautiful huge water fountain in walking distance behind the hotel area near River Place and it was absolutely amazing!! This was my first time staying at an Extended Stay Hotel and I will definitely stay here again in the future. It was a great price hotel in a great location that was very close to my work training event. The other three staff members were pleasant and accommodating.

The brown checkered carpet in the hallway was dark and plain ugly. It was not inviting, at all!! If a beautiful carpet is used instead, it would totally uplift and improve the mood and quality of the hotel! Coffee and a nutri-grain bar is not breakfast! Breakfast included needs to be removed from the hotel ad because you have a higher expectation that is disappointing when you find out that breakfast is only coffee and a cookie! If you removed breakfast from the ad, it would seem like a nice surprise to get coffee and a nutri-grain bar instead of a big disappointment! One of the four staff persons that I encountered was rude with me on the phone.

It was peaceful the room was clean / spacious and staff was super helpful. Loved my 3 days here

Not a great breakfast selection just coffee and muffins but I guess the kitchenette is an option to use and the side door lock was broken so you had to go all the way to the front to enter

I loved that the bed was so comfortable and we had a full sized refrigerator. Also, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, even giving us a menu/map to check out.

Maybe the breakfast could have been better.

They say the staff make a hotel and in this case thats the truth!De Ron on reception couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. He was so welcoming and professional. Excellent service and would recommend . Location is very good also

They only had muffins and oatmeal and coffee for breakfast. I was expecting something more for the price I paid

I didn't know I had to pay for parking so that threw me off when I arrive. also I had a different price online vs. when I arrive at hotel to pay

The room was nice and clean and comfortable and the water was very HOT for the shower
