Great breakfast (pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, bakery etc.), cozy lobby with a billiard table and Playstation, but no restaurant—only a bar. Located in the city center, but close to the tram station, so it's easy to reach. The room was fresh and clean.

The only disadvantage was that the person at the reception was unaware that the Deutschlandticket is valid for the ferry between Warnemünde and Hohe Düne, and informed us that we needed to buy a ticket (which we didn’t, eventually). This is a popular tourist spot, so it was quite surprising. To be fair, all other staff members did a great job and were very helpful and responsive.

When checking in I asked a receptionist if we have paid it all. I asked again and again and she was very sure that everything is settled. I asked one more time and it was still okay. During early morning check-out I had to pay 20 euro extra for the dog... I mean come on, I have asked 5 times to avoid the last minute payment.

The location was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious, quiet, and comfortable, especially the beds. Breakfast was also very good.

The people working at the reception on the evening shift were unfriendly. We asked for some coffee creamer and they acted like they could care less about us. We found it very strange that coffee was provided in the rooms but no creamer. Also, the dark color scheme in the hallways and doors is very strange.

Great location, in the middle of the city. very clean and a decent breakfeast. wifi was really good and they had chrome cast easily available with the tv in the room.

Communication was a bit slow and the checkin at the bar was rather slow. since the bar keep takes care of bar costumers and the check in. further there was a crazy amount of people standing outside the front door smoking all the time.

I loved the location of the hotel, which was at the heart of the city, close to most of the attractions. This was a priority for me, as I was travelling with pregnant wife. Second best thing about this hotel is the delicious breakfast they serve, and the abundance of choices. In terms of the room, the bed itself and bed lining was superb - clean and very comfortable. I was positively surprised with the Bluetooth speaker in the room. A flat screen TV was a nice addition, sadly streaming was not Apple compatible, which was a minor inconvenience.

I have already mentioned this in another Penta Hotel review (Bremen), but not having a tea/coffee and kettle station in the room was rather disappointing. Having this in the room equipment would have been a cherry on the top for this stay. Nonetheless, I will be definitely choosing and recommending Penta Hotel for my next stay.

I was very happy that the hotel has very comfortable beds, proper mattresses and bed sheets. Slept like a baby! Room were quiet, clean, good tv, they also have a speaker to connect with your music so technically you don't need to bring your own. I brought my own to take to the beach (Warnemünde). Didn't have the breakfast but im sure it would have been good. The reception area is very nice, people can gather downstairs and mingle at the bar or the terrace. Overall a very warm welcoming place.

Everything was great. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and quite varied. The location is great as well. You'll sleep in the heart of beautiful Rostock.

The only thing that bothered us was the occasional noise coming from the air conditioner.

We stayed only one day and was great. Location is perfect, the room was comfortable, the building is cool, breakfast was delicious with many options and the staff was super friendly ! All positive things ✨

The bed was not comfortable, and making a lot of noise. The staff were not friendly. One of them was just helpful, the other ones were really grumpy.

location- right at the city center facilities- modern and comfortable, you can play billiards at lounge. breakfast- I always appreciated to have a fresh fired egg and fresh vegetables juice in the morning. That is definitely good value for money. bed- it was soft but comfortable. good for sleeping.

Overall the hotel is clean, only some towels were not clean enough they had many stains and marks…
