This villa truly exceeded expectations! Their spa is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced, so relaxing and well done. The room was spotless, and I absolutely loved the open-air shower area. It added such a refreshing touch. The private pool right outside the room was super chill, making it easy to spend the whole day just relaxing. There’s so much to do too— surfing, yoga, and even a surf shop on-site. The food was amazing, and the convenience of renting a scooter directly from the villa made exploring even easier. Every detail was perfectly taken care of by the hotel staff, including my transport arrangements. The service was seamless from start to finish. Would absolutely stay here again!

The design of the hotel is just amazing. Everything looks incredible. It’s quiet, confortable, a lot of places you can hangout. And the bathroom is just wonderful ! I had a lovely experience. Staff was always ready to help and serve you. The bed was amazing also!

Besides looking gorgeous finally a pool where there is an area where it is not shallow. The breakfast is just 5 stars and the room there is nothing to improve there, maybe a small fridge but you will want to get their service for drinks and food. Sometimes you see a rating on booking and you wonder how did they get this rating. These guys really make justice to 9,7 if not more. Many times we were at the beach and said... Let's go back to Rascals and enjoy the pool and service there. That's why we see guests at the swimming pool all day long even though we are walking distance to the beach.

Absolutely nothing! Keep it up. Great team and great facilities. We will be back next year. We will fly to Lombok just to go to your hotel.

The food was outstanding and by far the best of western food places in kuta. The staff were genuinely engaged, friendly and professional. And the main pool was heaven, with its private comfortable cabanas, shaded areas and cool, clean water. My room was aesthetically beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable with a natural, earthy vibe.

My only comment would be that the design of the place was quite condensed with no natural open tranquil spaces to relax in. It was also a bit too mannered for my personal liking, and the bedroom lacked any facility to make a morning cup of tea.

I'd been wanting to stay at Rascals for some time, but they are usually fully booked. This time I was lucky and had the pleasure of 4 nights in a deluxe room. There's nothing I can fault about this property, it exceeded my expectations, my room was super comfortable and clean, great bed and wonderful rain shower. The front porch was my favouorite chilling location. All the amenities are super, choice from 2 pools, yoga classes, surf lessons. I experiencd the best massage by Tiara in the Spa, so relaxing, I wish I had booked for more than just the one session. Food from the restaurant is amazing, there's an amzing choice for breakfast (I recommend the Bacon and Eggs Benedict, not only was it presented so beautifully, it tasted divine), the coffee from Big Man Bagus is superb, the juices fresh and delicious. The overall ambiance is calm and peaceful and I never felt crowded by other guests despite the amount of rooms. The location is ideal, just off the main road but close to access shops and restaurants by foot, and pretty quiet. But the one thing that made this property stand out, is the staff. Incredible. Always ready to greet the guests with huge smiles, plus deliver the best service I've experienced in Lombok. Olwi, Roni, there's too many names to mention, made my stay incredible. I can't wait to return.

A power outlet on the porch would have been handy

The property is exceptional. The pool is amazing and the outside bathrooms are just so nice. Everything is clean and well maintained. The breakfast choices are like an Australian cafe and cater for all food choices, which is a nice way to start the day. While it isn’t a five star resort it has everything you need (and more) and we would have happily stayed another week. Absolutely great value. And the staff are just so friendly and helpful too.

Ok, so the property is down a poorly lit laneway from the Main Street of Kuta, and while you might think is is a bad thing at first you soon realise this makes a nice buffer from the hassle and bustle.

Rascals in Lombok is nothing short of paradise! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. The food? Absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that cater to every taste. What truly sets Rascals apart is their commitment to sustainability. It’s inspiring to see a resort so dedicated to being environmentally conscious while still offering all the comforts of a luxury getaway. The lush, serene surroundings make it hard to find reasons to leave—honestly, why would you want to?

Nothing

This was the best hotel we ever stayed in and we travelled a lot. The most relaxing, clean, beautiful place with amazing staff. Nothing is ever a problem in this place. Staff does everything for you to be comfortable and happy. The outdoor shower was wonderful. Food in a restaurant was delicious and consistent with good variety. Great quality cocktails. The bed was super comfortable. I had a massage in a few places around Kuta, but the one in the hotel was definitely the best. Yoga class was so relaxing and well organised. We didn't want to leave and are already planning to come back.

There's nothing bad to say about this place

This hotel is a true oasis in the middle of Kuta. 2 minutes away from the main street so very convenient but yet so relaxing. The room is beautifully decorated and furnished and the bathroom was the highlight. I’m always a big fan of open bathrooms but this one felt like I was in the middle of a jungle (without the spiders and insects that usually go with it). The staff were the most adorable people and so attentive to your needs. They really made sure to make your experience memorable but also personalized (always called me by my name, knew my room number, etc). I recommend taking the same room category as me or higher to get the full experience! Nevertheless, the food, the spa, the pools the whole setup was incredible.

Loved everything about it. The only con that I can think of is the fact that the mosque is not far away so you hear the prayers quite loudly starting at 5 am (I was there during Ramandan) but with earplugs,it’s fine

Food was beautiful (especially breakfast which imo is easily one of the best on the island). The on site bakery & coffee is great too with an easy walk to local amenities and other restaurants & shops. One of the biggest selling points are the staff who are incredible, super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It seems like there is a cultural and power dynamic awareness of the hotel owners about the nature of tourism/ western influence in the area and particularly liked how their is chance for local staff to develop (do tours/teach/ do trainings).

Honestly..nothing..would recommend Rascals to everyone and will be returning soon!
