First up, the staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. There is cold water (still and sparkling) available on tap at reception when you want to fill up your water bottles. The whole place is very well looked after, the gardens are lovely and the two pools are great (although the small one does not get so much sun and therefore the water is pretty cold). The rooms/apartments are very spacious and the kitchen facilities in the apartment were great, also, having a washing machine in the apartment is very helpful. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The covered parking spaces for your car are great too. The outdoor shower is an interesting novelty. It's only a 3min drive or 15min walk to Cable Beach

The overall fit-out of the apartment is a little plain - it's still very practical and functional, but it just lacks flair, which lowers the overall ambience. The outdoor shower looks like a great idea, but if you get up early and want to shower while it is still cold outside, its not so much fun. (I know, first-world problems - but you asked!) The bathroom is very plain, the pipes are visible and the handbasin hangs off the wall with no bench or vanity unit around it.

Outdoor shower was different but a beautiful shower pressure etc. Room was quite spacious with kitchen and laundry facilities. Lovely entry and private bbq area. The big pool was delightful. Also loved the complimentary water top ups at reception. A bit dated but well maintained.

Nothing really just a bit costly. But, we found all accommodation and others costs to be a bit expensive overall in Broome so Mantra pricing just the norm for the area. And lets be realistic. Australia is one of the most expensive countries to travel in so we have no choice but to cop it or goes offshore.

October 2024 stayed - staircase to the moon. Extremely spacious one bedroom unit compared to other accommodation we’ve stayed in. The Balinese outdoor shower was my favourite thing! (no roof but within your accommodation) I got to shower under the full moon, was magical!) Fantastic that there is a front loader washing machine. Weber bbq outside!! (We also own a Weber!!) Reception staff were fantastic & very accommodating. Undercover parking was great with plenty of room either side of the car (big 4WD) to properly open doors (pet hate of mine when whoever designs tight car spaces). The Mantra is outside of the main town area, but close to Cable Beach, you need a car to get around easily to and from the Accommodation, however I noticed purple scooters you can hire around the place but there also seems to be buses around too. One pool was closed for maintenance but there is a second pool almost the same size.

#31 the afternoon sun shines right into the toilet window and is blinding… needs a blind installed.

Room could do with a spring clean especially calcium build up on taps. I am very critical with calcium though because I am a professional cleaner, so I see things that others might not notice. Pool was great and refreshing. Great last minute price with genius discount. 430 for three nights. Loved the washing machine in the room and the spacious fridge. Would have loved an oven or airfryer but I understand that that is a lot to clean. Loved the outside shower and the patio with bbq. Undercover carports, perfect for those sunny Broome days. No issues having friends come visit for lunch or some pool time.

Well appointed kitchen facilities, plenty of space and plenty of storage. The airconditioners worked well in the living room and bedroom, the ceiling fans also helped to move the air around - all very much needed as my visit was in early March so the humidity was very high and the temperatures were also fairly warm. The gardens were lush and lovely and the pool areas looked very inviting. Lots of parking available and most of it under shade.

Although the outdoor shower was good, the hooks for hanging up the towel were in awkward spots, behind plants or too close to the statue. I think the mattress might be a bit old as the soft mattress topper was unable to hide the fact that the mattress has 'people shaped dips' in it.

The room was large and had everything you would need and for us a washing machine was essential. The outside shower was fine as the weather was warm. Lovely toiletries in large environmentally conscious bottles. Parking was very close by and the whole area was very quiet even though it was early August. We hired a car which allowed us freedom to travel into town.

The floor was dirty as after 30 minutes our bare feet were filthy. We wore thongs while inside for the 3 days.

The property was lovely and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and enjoyed that it was open plan, but the bedroom could still be closed off from the living area by sliding door, loved the outdoor shower concept.

The outdoor shower area had a very strong smell to it. The bedroom could have done with an extra blanket. We had a booking for two adults and one child, but no extra towels were in the room nor offer of rollaway bed. To be fair in check in and after nor did we ask for one, but a quick review of our booking would have made that clear and when you’re paying Broome prices and comparing with other resorts that do that, it’s the small details that count!

Handy location (we had car) and most of the gardens were pretty good. Staff very kind. The disabled carpark for my elderly parents was brilliant. It was a lovely quiet spot. Beds comfy. Loved the outdoor shower.

The garden at our section of the resort was a dead & dry rockscape. We picked rubbish out of the rocks and garden, cleared dead palms away and weeded. The watering is broken. If someone could spend time improving this area, I would rate this property very highly. Other maintenance items: many paint chips in doorways, front door handle very dirty. Side table & coffee table also very scuffed and swelling in doors in kitchen and pantry pullout door bowed. Many leaves in the outdoor shower and at the front of the unit, so everyone time the wind blew, we were sweeping & picking up leaves. It’s small things but they really stand out if they are not done. Tea towel also not clean.

Our Villa No 39 was very neat, clean and tidy. I loved that it had insect spray, mosquito coils, washing powder etc and all types of crockery we needed. My hair feels so soft after using the hair products in the shower. It was great to be near the small pool and very quiet resort.

The floor felt quite sticky. There were no cutting boards, clothes line was broken. Minor things that can be rectified easily.

The pool was wonderful and the apartment was very comfortable. Nice and quiet and had everything for a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The only downside was distance to restaurants and Cable Beach. But there is a regular bus service right at the door and we used this many times. Broome is very spread out anyway so this not a fault of the property and would recommend hire a car which we did for last 2 days. Most tours pick up from accommodation also.
