The aesthetic is fresh not dated. The staff is welcoming. The cleanness and the bedding sheet is exceptional for the value. With tub, laundry room, good size fridge and microwave in room are great additions along with great restaurant options around.

This may be an isolated issue with the room. The hot water does not last longer than 3 min. And the water could not completely routing to shower head which led to low water pressure. Considering it is cold at this time of the year, it was not okay to finish with cold shower. The heater is quite loud so we ended up sleeping in cold so we can get some sleep. This part is personal choice but if the room can equip with extra comforter and blanket, it could have been a better experience. With its location and value it offers, we are likely to give it another try with different room type before we make the conclusion of this cute hotel.

This is our second time staying here in just the past week or so. Great location for White Mountain hikes, and close to some good restaurants. Last time we were in a standard 2Q room, this time we were in a K room. The K rooms are bigger, newer, and nicer hence cost a little more.

The downside of the K rooms are that they are right up against Rts 2/16 so there is a lot of road noise although it did die down later at night. My bigger complaint, and this was true with the 2Q rooms too, are the lights outside near our room are very bright. In the case of the K room there are no curtains on the upper eyebrow windows facing the parking lot, and no curtains on the frosted windows facing the road. I was actually able to read from a book at night with all indoor lights out! Eventually some of the outdoor lights went out long after we went to bed.

Location was great for the hiking we planned to do the next day. Very close to restaurants for dinner. Room was very clean and comfortable. They had outside grills to use as well as a firepit and cornhole which was night. They also had a hot tub we will use next time.

They had a very bright light outside our hotel window that could not be turned off or blocked out by the curtains. It was very ligth in our room when we went to bed. Apparently they did turn the lights out sometime during the night because they were off in the morning when we got up. Could not find the ice machine. May have been inside the office but it was closed when we needed it.

Location was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable and nearby to a couple of ski centers and amenities such as restaurants and grocery stores. When departing, a nice gentleman helped to clear the snow in front of our car, thank you!

The front desk did not mention that there is a discount at the Great Glen Nordic Center for guests at Top Notch. Thankfully, Great Glen asked where we were staying and applied the discount, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time about any discounts in the local area.

Exceptionally clean!! Very friendly and helpful front desk. Lots of nearby restaurants. Comfortable and spacious rooms with conveniences such as coffee maker, fridge, table for working/eating etc. Also really appreciated the thoughtful range of lighting options (windows with blackout and light dimming shades, bright overhead light, multiple lamps, focused work light over table which really helped when do some work on the computer)—this is very unusual for hotel/motel rooms. Didn’t use the facilites due to time constraints but they had a nice pool and hot tub plus a nice area in front with chairs. Very well kept up place.

It wasn’t horrible, but it was noisier than I expected even though my room was far back from road. They allow pets and could definitely hear the dog in the room next door. Could hear people talking (not their words, but was present. Would still book again, just wanted to note this in case it is important for others.

I’ve stayed in Gorham many times, but this was my first at the top notch ….Gorham is a great location for fun activities within an hour of many different attractions. Property was clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi were spotless. The room was very clean and the parking was a breeze. I will definitely be back next summer!

Stayed in the house. It was beautiful

I first secured a room off of Trivaga only to find out that they were overbooked and I was turned away. Approximately 45 minutes laterI received a phone call from the manager stating that I could have the availability of the house for the same price that I already paid. For the room. They definitely made up for they're error. The house was spacious and beautiful!

The rooms were great - beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. There was a fridge as well as coffee facilities inside the room as well. The bathrooms were very clean as well, with all facilities available including a hairdryer. The location was great - only 15 minutes away from Mount Washington and we were given a discount by the lovely staff who were working there!

The bathroom was very small, but not a massive issue. Some noise travelled easily, but again, not the hotel’s fault for that!

I stayed in 133. Most comfortable bed ever! I think you should switch where the tv is with where the fridge/coffee pot is currently because the tv is on the smaller side. Also, the refrigerator doesn’t get very cold. Perhaps it needs servicing or replacement? I tried adjusting the temperature, no change. We had a lovely time at your facility and look forward to staying with you again!!

Courtney at the front desk was fantastic! My wife and I had just completed a 4 day backpacking trip and were off the trail much earlier than expected. We stopped by hoping for an early check in and Courtney prioritized our room to get ready and recommended Js next door for a drink. By the time we finished our drinks, room was ready 😀
