Even before we arrived we were made to feel welcome at The Inn at Thorn Hill, by email, and again when we called to get more information. Every one of the staff seemed to truly enjoy working there and making guests feel welcome and to help guests in any way they could. The dinner and breakfast meals were over-the-top special and delicious - clearly prepared as well as served with pride. And breakfast was included with the stay. The grounds and the views of the White Mountains are beautiful. We have never before had an experience such as this at a property, where we can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Our stay at **The Inn at Thorn Hill** was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the kind of charm you can only find in a cozy mountain inn. The property is beautiful—nestled in the White Mountains, it feels like a hidden gem where relaxation comes naturally. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub that made it feel extra luxurious. Waking up to views of the mountains and enjoying a gourmet breakfast in the morning was such a treat. The on-site restaurant was fantastic too—every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really made our experience stand out, though, was the staff. They were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a warm smile or recommendations for places to explore nearby. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a solo retreat, or a base for outdoor adventures, The Inn at Thorn Hill is truly special. We'll definitely be back!

It was a really nice property which welcomed us with warmth with a welcome drink. They provided us with nice suggestions for dinner and night fun. Although breakfast was at another property, it was really nice. The room was well equipped with facilities, comfortable bed, electric fireplace, spa tub. Also they provided evening drinks with goodies. 24 hr tea and coffee was available at the reception.overall a nice experience to stay in Jackson, close to white mountain park.

It would have been great if the kitchen/ restaurant/ bar area will be functional. But they told us it will be functional in 2 weeks, will go back then.

Spacious, well-appointed room. Comfortable bed. Huge bathroom with double sink and modern facilities. Gracious public areas featuring several quiet nooks (indoors, as well as outdoors on the wide porch) for conversation. Gourmet breakfast, cooked to order, with numerous choices from healthy to indulgent. Excellent restaurant for dinner. Great wines and craft beers. Handsome, historic building, thoroughly updated, that gives you the feeling of staying in a 19th-century industrial baron's mansion. Gorgeous mountain views.

The location is wonderful, the room is very clean.

This is my second visit at this property, and the reason I went back is because I loved it so much and enjoyed the bar area the area where you could sit and play the various games the picture view. Also, the food was outstanding. However, this time due to a fire in the kitchen, those things weren’t available. The room was very pretty and clean, but the room was extremely warm. I would recommend going back because I had such a wonderful visit the first time hopefully they will get things back up and running soon

Breakfast options were great and all the other complimentary amenities i.e. arrival champagne, nightly tea, bottled water and ability to have smores at fire pit (although we didn't use) were unexpected. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The individual fire place, jetted tub and steam shower were wonderful room amenities.

The breakfast eggs were not seasoned and the only salt was white table salt (which is processed salt). Pink or grey salt with minerals would have added another level to match the luxury of the property. The prime rib for Christmas dinner was not a good cut of meat (so much fiber/fat except for the well done parts that it couldn't be chewed), but they really tried to make up for it. So, I would suggest better quality ingredients in the kitchen and let people know about the quality ingredients that are used to prepare the food. Also, for the holidays, it would have been nice to have a live piano player. Piped in music was not consistently played.

Wonderful well run place in a a beautiful location, close to main hiking trails and good restaurants

Unfortunately the place had a fire and all of the amenities we were so looking forward to use were under the renovation. No one notified us about it which was very frustrating. We had to drive to another spot for breakfast every morning, as restaurant and wine cellar were closed, advertised spa, and other amenities were not available unfortunately. We truly hope to return next time and have a full experience

Exceptional inn experience! Beautifully furnished room with sitting area in front of a cozy gas fireplace. Lovely, accommodating staff. Many complimentary extras such as Prosecco on arriving, chocolate truffles in our room, afternoon wine and cheese. All set in the beautiful and charming village of Jackson. Can’t wait to return!

Looking forward to the inn completing renovations on the parlor and dining area so we can enjoy their wonderful breakfasts in their elegant dining room.

I had a wonderful get-a-way. The food was excellent. I had breakfast and supper there and it was expensive but well worth it. The room was as described, very nice. Gas stove and a seating area. Very large bathroom.

What I didn't like but wasn't bothered to much, was that they were doing renovations. It is April and they are getting ready for the summer vacationers. The place is so pretty, I wish I could see it all spruced up.

I Loved this Inn. The owner Mark thought about everything to make our stay so perfect. Can’t wait to come back. The outside and inside are so beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is included in your stay and it’s not your ordinary continental breakfast. This is a sit down restaurant with Victorian charm and a wood burning fireplace to add to the charm and warmth. Breakfasts were a $25 value worth every cent including Eggs/Omelets, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes/Waffles with real New Hampshire syrup, and delicious oatmeal. All breakfast come with choice of bacon/sausage, toast, they have the biggest English Muffins I ever had, potatoes, juice and coffee/tea. You can upgrade and pay $10 for more exquisite meals. My husband loved the Cornbeef Hash Real cornbeef not the stuff that comes in a can. The chefs they have for both breakfast and dinner are superb. We ate breakfast every morning and had the most delightful waiter known as Smiling Dave we looked forward to seeing every morning. Linda our hostess was so friendly that when we left on our last morning we were hugging to say We will be back. Our dinners were gourmet which you pay for but worth it. We ate at another place one of the 4 nights and regretted it. They have a beautiful common area with fireplaces throughout that we enjoyed afternoon and evening. Their bartender James was a Mixologist who created the most Amazing cocktails. My Favorite was the Otono and my husbands was the Black Bear. We would sit there at the bar and chat with guests and James like we were all old friends. Every evening they would deliver hot water in a thermos that lasted all Evening with a special designed tea just for them and homemade cookies on a tray. We enjoyed it so much we brought a tin of it home. They provided cookies and hot chocolate, tea and coffee all afternoon. Our room was beautiful. We had a queen bedroom with seating in front of the gas fireplace, huge spa hot tub and shower. Every room has these amenities.

The only thing we would recommend is to put a removable shower hose in the shower to rinse off better. My husband has wide shoulders and had difficulty rinsing.
