The owners were very welcoming and we had a very memorable stay! The location was great for exploring the white mountains area. We enjoyed the great breakfasts every morning and appreciated all of the help.

In general the facilities were very good but as lighter sleepers we didn’t sleep very well. The bed was very squeaky and you could also hear chatter from other rooms. Despite this we would consider staying again.

The lodge is well-appointed. The common areas are cozy for chatting with other guests and hosts or just enjoying a glass of wine. Our room was small (knew this when booked) but had what we needed and was nicely decorated. The shower had good pressure and there was a mirror in the bedroom to help with 2 people getting ready in a small space. Breakfast was delicious!! Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We walked to several good restaurants and the shopping area, but we were far enough from the main street to avoid any issues with traffic or noise. Hope to come back to experience another season at the Spruce Moose Lodge!

Hosts were fantastic - including Jed & Avery! Breakfast was excellent! Shared spaces were lovely - the gardens, everything. Has everything we needed.

My bed and pillows weren’t that comfortable. And the door next to ours squeaked everytime it opened. Lastly, whenever someone was entering their room, it sounded like they were trying to come into my room - I jumped a couple of times! That said, everything else was perfect - I would absolutely stay again, just not in that room with the twin beds. But if I’m traveling with a friend, again, I’m not sure what other options we’d have.

The home, yes "home" because there is nothing about the Spruce Moose that makes you think it's a business. Yes I mean that as the biggest compliment I can give anyone in the Bed & Breakfast/Hospitality field. I was lucky enough to find this gem as a weekend getaway destination for the love of my lifes 50th birthday. ( she thoroughly enjoyed herself).Leon and Nellie welcomed us as if we were long lost relatives in need of shelter, genuine warmth and caring. Beautiful, charming, comforting (feel free to insert any adjective that leaves you with a warm feeling inside). Breakfast was delicious but the warmth and genuine caring they show is priceless. They go above and beyond as guides to the area that they truly love as well. It's an odd feeling being away from home, exploring a new environment but feeling like you're going home every night. Avery and Jed are 2 charming pups and exude the love they've been given by both Leon and Nellie.

I wish we could've stayed longer.

Traditional Bed & Breakfast with brilliant welcoming hosts Nellie and Leon and a feeling of being completely welcome. Homely feel and really comfortable room (we were in The Radcliffe room). Interesting memorabilia throughout and outstanding breakfasts. Only minor issue in North Conway was the availability of local restaurants, completely out of the control of Spruce Moose and, apparently, attributed to staff shortages. I cannot recommend this accommodation more highly.

The B&B was charming. The inn keepers Nellie and Leon were friendly and welcoming. They were knowledgeable about the area. They are really super people.

Pretty much everything! Hosts were fantastic, food (breakfasts) was excellent, room and bed were comfortable and clean, location was easy you find and convenient to everything, buildings and surroundings were beautiful and relaxing.

A lovely setting away from the crowds where Nellie & Leon provided superb service and hospitality. B&B setting gave us chance to relax on porch and also visit with other guests at breakfast. Very enjoyable and a new favorite stay.

Such a warm and lovely place to stay. Perfect base for exploring the White Mountains and reaching lots of trails, plus exploring North Conway. We loved the tasty home cooked breakfasts and little, homely details, and Leon and Nellie are so attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this traditional BnB. A nice breakfast was cooked for us each morning by our hosts, who were welcoming and helpful too. Lovely area, close to restaurants just a short distance to trails.
