Very nice hotel in a historic building lovingly decorated and maintained. Out front a beautiful porch with big planters luscious with blooming plants. Inside a reception with big fireplaces and polished wood all around. In winter this should be an amazing place to get in out of the cold. Very comfy beds, full restaurant service on premises. Parking is in front of the hotel. There is an elevator. Reliable WiFi. The Mt Washington Cog Railway is an easy and gorgeous 40 minute drive away from this hotel.

There is a large permanent party/wedding tent at the back of the hotel which may give rise to noise issues. Inquire about scheduled events/ reserve a room at the front of the hotel.

Very nice stay, would recommend to anyone

The last day I was greeted by someone at the hotel that worked there, he complained of noise we were making. I explained to him that the door to the room would slam when leaving or entering. Then he said we were moving furniture, i said to him that the people above us were walking back and forth quite noisily all night. I suggested to him to adjust the room door so it doesn’t slam anymore. Saying that we were moving furniture is absurd.

We have dined here many times, but first time lodging there. Our room (321) was modest sized, but nicely appointed, and loved the view. The lobby area is great with fire in the fire place, the bar area and room off the bar very cozy. Heard Candi Trembly sing - she was great. We had the breakfast included, and it did not disappoint. Plus we have always loved the dining room. Staff very friendly all around.

Resort fee of $30 is a rip off. Got the complete run-around on what it included. First told it did cover the fee for using the Jackson cross country ski center. Then the center told me we had to get the free pass from the Wentworth. Then the Wentworth told me the fee for the cross country ski center is NOT included, but only a Sunday morning snowshow trip is - and of course that was not advertised - presumably because it would come as a cost to the Wentworth. Bottom line: Resort fees, like airline baggage fees, while no doubt very profitable, are very aggravating.

The Wentworth is is cozy and quaint. We had a king room with a Fireplace and a queen room and both were so cozy and beautiful. They thought of every detail from the pantries available with cookies, ice cream, chips and drinks in the evening to it being restocked in the morning with yogurt, fruit and granola. Then they had apple cider available for free as you enter the beautiful hotel. It was all of our favorite place we stayed and we all would love to come back!

Dinner was delicious. The room was very nice. I do appreciate the private hot tub. Breakfast was very good. I was appreciative of the option to order eggs. I am a vegetarian so there weren't many "hardy options" on the buffet for me.

A vegetarian option at breakfast that wasn't a high carb/sugary food (Pancakes). My hallmates all snatched the cookies before I got one. That was pretty disappointing.

One of the very few places that exceeded my expectations. This is my definition for excellent customer service. The staff was beyond outstanding. There was an issue with the fire place and Henry - the manager came to fix it. Since he was unable to get that resolved at the time, he asked us what he can offer us to make our stay better. It was late in the evening and we were starving, but everything around seemed to have closed and the kitchen at the restaurant had just closed too. He arranged for us to get some food and everyone from the staff treated us like VIPs. The food was amazing too. The room was excellent. We had one with a large jacuzzi and we loved it. Since then we visited the area again but we were unable to get a room at the Wentworth. We stayed at the Thorn Hill Inn and while it was still nice, the room was not nearly as good.We also ended up going back to the Wentworth for food and had the same pleasant experience.

The only problem is that the rooms get booked and it's hard to get one for a more spontaneous trip.

I booked the Wentworth for my wife and I (plus two other couples with whom we were vacationing). We ALL loved the place!!! Our bedroom was very well appointed. It felt simply felt luxurious from the bed to decor. We appreciated the snack area was well-stocked with yummy treats. The staff were super-welcoming and helpful. And one evening when our group of six was finishing our food in the lounge, one of the staff (maybe the manager?) came by our table to remove our garbage (plastics and recyclable containers). I really didn't expect that level of service as I would have cleaned up after myself. The Wentworth definitely treated us in an "above & beyond" fashion.

breakfast was awesome, staff were very friendly and attentive, location is perfectly situated, super clean and the available pantry was an added bonus, the lobby and bar are beautifully decorated and are very comfy and cozy, bartender was great as well

the room was small but very clean and comfortable, bathroom sink was super tiny and the mirror was situated very low, not great for getting ready for a wedding, lol, but it is a very old building and they do the best with what they have!

Staff was great. Restaurant excellent, both dinner and breakfast. Nice amenities, including snacks + fridge for guests - a nice touch.

Room was incredibly warm and no way to cool it off, as the thermostat was not working. Had to open window which had no screen to help the situation. Staff did provide a fan the next day. All windows need screens.

We absolutely love this property. We’ve been coming g here for several years and come back every year. Their upgrades to the bar and downstairs areas are beautiful and cozy. Staff are great and always friendly.

The only thing we did not like this year is that they switched to a buffet breakfast like a hotel. That was a big disappointment and lacks the whole charm of an Inn. Their special breakfast menus were part of what we loved. Hope they bring that back.
