The property is in Andermatt Reus which is the new side of Andermatt. We loved the 2x 1 bed apartments we stayed in ( 3.3 and 3.4 in the Alpenrose building), they are the ones with the pink armchairs. We had everything we needed to cook in the apartment, enjoyed walking over into town to the Coop for fresh food. There is a bus every 15 minutes if you want to go over to Gemstock. Or you can walk the 5 minutes to go up the Gutsch Express for the main mountain which links up to Dieni > Sedrun > Disentis. We skied our way over to Disentis and caught the train back from there which was just a STUNNING train ride. The apartment is also perfectly located for winter walking routes along the river, and for cross country skiing at the Nordic Centre. Amazing skiing up the long valley and in loops around the Nordic centre. What else to tell you? It is a developing side of Andermatt but there are 3 or 4 restaurants including the Radisson Blu, a great ski shop, a cute coffee stall van outside. They are working hard to create a vibe. And once the next 5 start hotel is built there then I think the critical mass of people will be there to give the area full momentum.

Not the property’s fault but I read you could pay to use the pool at the Radisson Blu but it was unavailable every day / it relies on a limited of non-existent number of slots being available for outsiders. Andermatt definitely needs to build a pool / leisure centre like many alps towns have.

Clean, with a parking underneath (fee applies), with all the amenities and close to the gondola with access to the slopes. Overall we had a really pleasant stay

The apartment doesn’t match the pictures, which was really disappointed. Specially the sitting/ dinning area it was tiny, however in all the pictures showcasing this type of apartment looks spacious and ample. Knowing they use different pictures for advertising, we would have chosen a different type of apartment to accommodate 3 people. In the reception, they confirmed they use different pictures they have in stock and that they might not match the reality. It is good to be aware of this before booking. The real aspect of the apartment can be found in pictures attached (superior apartment 1 room)

Andermatt Alpine Apartments is located about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the train station and during the winter months, this area may be slick. The host offered to set up transportation from the train station; we chose to walk. As you pass under Route 2, there are a set of steps to negotiate and an elevator next to the steps making it easier to carry your gear to/from the train station to the Ruess area where the Alpine Apartments are located. This area has some active construction nearby. Check-in was easy with clear instructions to our assigned apartment in a building with an elevator. Remember this is an alpine environment-walk carefully! Our apartment was spacious and well equipped. We were able to cook meals as we wanted and wash/dry our clothes in the apartment as needed. All the appliances are Swiss-made and prompts are in German with easy to use icons. We rented a Premium apartment and had access to an in-building spa that included showers, dry and wet saunas and a pool. Very relaxing after our on-mountain adventure days! We purchased items we need for our stay at a small grocery/retail store in the train station or in town at the Coop Supermarket. We used public transportation for our trip and didn't use the underground parking except for trash/recycle disposal as instructed at check-in. The underground parking is immense and appeared to connect several of the buildings in the Ruess area above. At the train station, there is a winter sports shop where we chose to have our skis tuned and stored for convenience. A quick web search will show there are many options for ski/snowboard rental/tuning in Andermatt. A winter sports gear storage room is on the ground floor of the Alpine Apartments. We took a couple of days off to enjoy the Andermatt village and history as well as shop and sample the local cuisine. Too many wonderful sights, sounds, tastes and hospitality in this area and across the resort to mention. You cannot go wrong!

Our apartment in the Yara building, on the top floor, was truly amazing! Huge, modern, clean, brand new , with beautiful views of the Alps from the big terrace!👌 And, it even had its own sauna on the second floor, which was awesome after a full day of skiing!⛷️👌 The staff at Alpine Apartments reception was also great - they were very responsive even before we got to Andermatt, through the whole booking process, and when we arrived there, they already had the apartment ready for us, which we greatly appreciated! They were very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and were always ready to help with a smile!😊 Thank you for this unforgettable stay in Andermatt!❄️

The only thing was that the free Andermatt shuttle busses were not running at night, after 5:30-6pm, which made it uncomfortable to walk back and forth a few times between the village and the Andermatt Alpine Apartments, which are located approximately 1.5 km from the village center. I think more shuttles and free busses that run all day and night will greatly help the hospitality business in Andermatt in general. Oh, and the app MyBuxi does not work well...we waited one night more than 25 min for a 5min ride..., and the driver was not very polite...

Initially we were put in a 3 bedroom-apartment where one of the bedrooms was completely open to the living room, with no privacy at all or sound protection - an issue especially if you have kids like was our case. We then complained and got upgraded to a very nice 3 bedroom-apartment, what we really appreciated. Our second time in this complex and we like a lot the views, the modern buildings and the fact that it's walking distance to restaurants, the village and the mountains.

I think sometimes staff could be a bit more flexible and put more effort on a more personalized experience in terms of checking if an early or late check out is possible, for example, as well as what kind of apartment you will get (they only say "we cannot guarantee"). We asked for high chairs for the kids and they also said they didn't have any since it was full, so would suggest they order more as this is quite important with kids.

It was our 3rd stay at Andermatt Alpine Apartments, first time for the whole week. They're located in the new Reuss development, 5 min walk to the train station and 10 min to Gütsch-Express ski lift. Our 1-bedroom apartment was spacious, fresh and modern, well-appointed with hi-end V-Zug appliances. Parking and ski room at level -2, reachable via lift. There are plenty of new exciting restaurants and shops in the area.

There's an ongoing construction in the area, so it might be a bit noisy and views are compromised.

The best place to be to escape the summer heat. Very clean, hotel style apartments with all amenities included, new building and close to the village and the train station. Breath taking view outside the building.

My apartment had practically no view except a small angle from the living room and balcony. All rooms overlooked a construction site, the construction noise was heard from 6 am till 4 pm. Would have loved a discount for those apartments not having any views to the mountains. Also there was no access except from the parking lot which made the walking distance longer. But I believe after the construction is done it would be a 10/10. It is a little far from main tourist towns like Interlaken and Lucerne around 2 hours train ride.

We were upgraded from a standard apartment as compensation for the building being unfinished, with the only access was via the parking garage. This was no inconvenience and was actually the most direct walk to the bus stop anyway. The style and finish of the apartment was really high end and luxurious. Great to have Nespresso machine. Really well stocked kitchen. Great to have washing machine and dryer. Nice to have the glazed balcony (vinter garten).

We weren’t told about the sauna, relaxation area and lounge with pool table on the ground floor and only discovered these on our penultimate day. The wind howls through gaps in the glazing of the vinter garten. There was only one pillow per person and they were very flat pillows. Would be good to have more pillows and varying thicknesses.

The apartment was modern and spacious and provided more than enough room for three people. The ski lockup was really handy, lots of room for ski storage with private lockers and luxury boot heaters. We enjoyed the leisure room for many hours during our stay.

The apartment was unbearably hot when we arrived as was the entire facility. Even though we turned down the heat we needed the outside door open for most of our stay. Apartment was missing some simple storage space for food supplies. We also found the lighting to be difficult. With only the under counter LED to light the entire kitchen I needed the light on my phone to operate the oven or see into the bottom cupboards.

Very new and clean accommodation.

We stayed in an apartment with a mezzanine floor. The stair case up to the mezzanine was very steep so much so that it was difficult to go up and down stairs without the fear of falling. If any of us had a ski injury it would have been impossible to sleep up there. We had to unpack our clothes downstairs and carry a few up at a time as it was too dangerous to carry a heavy bag up and down. The lighting was very dull too, there should be more and brighter lights. The apartment felt gloomy and dark, however we were out all day skiing but at night it was very dull.
